The view forward is better than the one backward
A backward glance at 2015 is not a pretty view. Yet, in spite of all the wars, terrorism, fear mongering, economic decline, and political deception, we still have much for which to be thankful. Foremost on that list is the fact that we are still standing in the battle for truth and freedom and, secondly, we are gaining strength and effectiveness.
Many steps forward have been taken, but the two that make it possible to be genuinely hopeful for the future are: (1) Unfiltered News was successfully updated to Need to Know, which most readers tell us is a more appealing and accessible format, which already has resulted in an expanding readership; (2) the Second Congress of Freedom Force International, held last week in Paso Robles, was wildly successful. The significance of these achievements is that we now have the tools, the strategy, and the manpower to actually begin mobilizing the freedom movement.
There will be much to report on this in the near future (it will relate to the Red Pill) but, for now, I just want to assure you that I am greatly encouraged in spite of the dark clouds on the horizon. The view forward is a lot better than the one backward.
I also want to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your dedication and support. We are building a great team, and your participation is appreciated more than you can ever know. Thank you.

Charlotte, North Carolina: Daquan Antonio Westbrook, 18, fired into a crowded shopping mall, injuring at least one person, and then was shot and killed by an armed off-duty police officer. An ‘unstoppable’ gas leak in Southern California is being called the worst environmental disaster since the BP oil spill. Porter Ranch, near Northridge in Los Angeles, is the site of a natural-gas storage facility that once was an oil field. It sits on top of a cracked pipe 8,000 feet underground that has been leaking for two months. Airplanes have been diverted away from the area because the gas is spewing with the force of a volcano, and there is a possibility of a massive explosion at any time. SoCalGas says there will be no long-term negative health effects, but Erin Brokovich says “no one really knows the potential long-term side effects of benzene and radon, the carcinogens that are commonly found in natural gas.” There has been a news blackout on this story since October. Minneapolis, Minnesota: Black Lives Matter protesters caused chaos at the Mall of America, the nation’s largest shopping marketplace, and then blocked roads at the airport nearby. Chipotle Mexican Grill restaurant announced in April, 2015, that it would serve only 100% GMO-free food, and its sales increased. This was not good news for the GMO food industry. Two months later, the first of several toxic-food outbreaks occurred at Chipotle restaurants across the US. Contaminants include different strains of E. coli, salmonella, and norovirus. Some observers have speculated that Chipotle could be the victim of corporate sabotage by the biotech and chemical industry. At present, however, there is no evidence that this is so. Congress has repealed a law that required meat packages to show the country of origin. This is to conform US law to international law. The World Trade Organization is allowing Canada and Mexico to impose more than $1 billion in retaliatory tariffs on companies that fail to remove country of origin labels from pork and beef packages. (Gallusses are suspenders) The following article appeared in the 1962 Mar 1 edition of The Freeman magazine, published by The Foundation for Economic Education.
I remember, as a small boy in knee britches, going with my father to hear an address given by the Honorable Stephen Pace, then congressman from the old Georgia 12th District. It was on the banks of the Ocmulgee River. There was a barbecue, and citizens, especially farmers, from all the counties gathered. This was before the first World War.
It seemed that someone in the Congress had introduced a bill that would give the farmers some money provided they did something. The congressman vigorously opposed it. I have no idea what it was, because I was watching a “dirt dobber” making a ball of mud.
The congressman snapped me back to attention, however, when he said, “I’m going to tell you a true story about the wild hogs that once lived about forty miles down the river. Years ago,” the congressman said, “in a great horseshoe bend down the river, there lived a drove of wild hogs. Where they came from no one knew, but they survived floods, fires, freezes, droughts, and hunters. The greatest compliment a man could pay to a dog was to say that he had fought the hogs in Horseshoe Bend and returned alive. Occasionally a pig was killed either by dogs or a gun—a conversation piece for years to come.
“Finally a one-gallused man came by the country store on the river road and asked the whereabouts of these wild hogs. He drove a one-horse wagon, had an ax, some quilts, a lantern, some corn, and a single barrel shotgun. He was a slender, slow-moving, patient man—he chewed his tobacco deliberately and spat very seldom.
“Several months later he came back to the same store and asked for help to bring out the wild hogs. He stated that he had them all in a pen over in the swamp. Bewildered farmers, dubious hunters, and storekeepers all gathered in the heart of Horseshoe Bend to view the captive hogs.
“‘It was all very simple,’ said the one-gallused man. ‘First I put out some corn. For three weeks they would not eat it. Then some of the young ones grabbed an ear and ran off into the thicket. Soon they were all eating it; then I commenced building a pen around the corn, a little higher each day. When I noticed that they were all waiting for me to bring the corn and had stopped grubbing for acorns and roots, I built the trap door. Naturally,’ said the patient man, ‘they raised quite a ruckus when they seen they was trapped, but I can pen any animal on the face of the earth if I can just get him to depend on me for a free handout.’
“We have had patient men in our central government in Washington for years. They are using our own dollars instead of corn.”

In 1968, at Ft. Ord, CA, our company of 200 ‘trainees’ went to the anti-tank weapon range. In that ‘block of instruction’ 200 anti-tank rockets were fired. The instructor reminded us that we would need to aim these weapons very carefully (in combat situations) as they cost the taxpayer $50 ea. So, lets see – $50 X 200 just for training purposes was $10,000 ( in 1968 dollars ).
As I recall, LBJ sent us there to fight Communist expansionism. Who has ruled Viet Nam for the last 42 years? Hmmm, let me see. Wern’t those Communists? I knew men in my combat unit who never got to see their wives again or their children grow. This was to “stop Communist expansion?”
What has ALWAYS expanded is out of control spending in the military / industrial complex. This is not to mention useless govt programs.

This message is in response to a promotional mailing I made recently in which there was a headline and some bold text. The headline read: “Good news does not need hype” and it was followed by three testimonials from people who report health benefits from a product called Cardio Miracle.
Bold text was used in the heading of one paragraph and also as an example of common marketing hype. These bolded words add up to 33 out of 499 in the full article. Mr. Gregory feels that using larger type for an article headline or sectional headings and using bold type for emphasis in 6.6% of the article is hype. You can see the original message here.
However hype may be defined, it includes the concept of being distasteful and unacceptable. Therefore hype is in the eye of the beholder. I believe that the Cardio Miracle article is a fairly good example of restraint and good taste in preparing an advertising message and that it contains no hype whatsoever. However, if there is a broad public perception that I am resorting to the very hype I speak against, then I need to adjust my writing style. As I write these words, I am not far outside the beautiful town of Paso Robles, California, and it is about 2 AM on Saturday, December 12. That means this issue of Need to Know is going to be a day late getting to you. Being in Paso Robles has a lot to do with that.
Tomorrow morning is the opening session of the Freedom Force Second Congress held in Paso Robles. It is the primo event for us, and the theme for this year is: “Don’t fight city hall when you can BE city hall”. You will be hearing more about this when the video recording is available.
I have been deeply involved with the planning and execution of this event, which is the reason I was not able to complete the creation of this weeks news page, which normally is larger than this one. There just haven’t been enough hours on the clock to get everything done on schedule

GUN CONTROL IN NAZI GERMANY A MYTH?

Right after the war, I saw with my own eyes the huge piles of guns collected during sweeping roundups by US troops to free the bad Germans of their guns. Get it? Their guns. How come our GIs collected in these roundups huge mountains of guns of any kind, hunting and military. How can it be that Hitler disarmed his people and yet, they had lots and lots of guns, more than ever before, at the end of the war?
How come you allow yourself to be used by the Shoa folk to spread their lies? How come you failed to truth-check the Shoa assertions about the laws that were supposed to disarm the Germans when the opposite was true? … Gun violence in Germany after the assumption of power by the Nazis disappeared completely. At the same time the government supported private gun ownership.
You did such a super job with your book “The Creature”. You are doing such a super job calling the bluff on all the skulduggery of the media. As one of the most brilliant unmaskers extant, I wonder what is in it for you to blindly repeat the demonizing lies about Germany?

Hello Peter.
Until this week, I have not been aware of any reason to question the assertion that the Nazis instituted aggressive gun control. Please do not “wonder what is in it” for me “to blindly repeat the demonizing lies about Germany”. I have no axe to grind except the truth. Now I must do my own research on an item that I thought was not in question.
First, speaking of the disarmament of the German people by their leadership cannot be seen as demonizing Germany any more than calling attention to the disarmament of the American people by their leaders can be seen as demonizing America.
Second, I am not surprised that there were many guns in the hands of the German civilian population at the end of the war. It is logical that supporters of the regime would not only be allowed their guns but encouraged to have them. It would be amazing if any of the guns you saw confiscated by the US Army were taken from Jews, Poles, Gypsies, or anyone else that was in disfavor of the regime.
I am interested in learning a lot more about this, and I will pursue the Barnes Review reference you provided. A cursory examination, however, shows that the publishers believe that Hitler was more of a hero than a villain. Is that your perspective, also?
When you said in your letter that I am “spreading the lies” of the “Shoa folk”, I had to look up the word in the dictionary to learn that it refers to those who seek to perpetuate consciousness of the holocaust. That makes me wonder what that has to do with this issue. Is it you position that the common belief that there was aggressive gun control in Nazi Germany is the result of Shoa propaganda – and is this connected in any way to the controversy over the extent of – or even the existence of – the holocaust?
I will check this issue further, and I thank you for alerting me to the possibility that the Nazis did not administer gun control over the general population. It is an interesting assignment.

ANOTHER CANCER VICTOR WEIGHS IN

Dearest Mr. Griffin, We simply cannot thank you enough for your work with World Without Cancer. It has been nearly six years now when Chris’ colon cancer diagnosis was received. I had WWC and the companion DVD on the shelf and had yet to read through it thoroughly.
A day or so of “regaining her footing” after hearing the doctor’s report, we watched the DVD, and Chris began a search online for cancer “success” stories. The more she looked, the more she found folks having success with natural and nutritional therapies. Imagine that!
Chris is the consummate researcher, and amassed and studied quite a library of books, web info, etc. on this now life-important topic. She decided to give the natural (what I now like to call “original medicine”) approach for a six-month trial. This took a great deal of energy, as her trusted doctor, feeling she was sure to only make her condition worse, fired her from her practice.
Chris found a women’s health doctor who was more understanding and willing to work with her. Chris combined B-17/Amygdaline, vegetable juicing, Essiac Tea, a focused nutritional supplement program, electrical stimulation, and exercise therapies to treat the cancer. Of course, the “dessert menu” was immediately discarded.
Six months later, Chris was enjoying an amazing improvement in her general health. At this time we found a competent endoscopy practice to do a sigmoid scope to see how the cancer was looking. MY KID IS TAUGHT COMMUNISM IN SCHOOL

My son came home from school and was upset. We talked and found that the cause of his angst was based in his classes. The advanced and honors levels are wrought with tearing down students teaching the oppressive nature of white folks. This is his Honors English class. It was similar in his Advanced Placement US History class.
Right now he is wanting to opt out of all these classes, but the school “encourages” the student and the parents to stay the course, as it were. There must be a financial incentive to the school for keeping kids in those classes. And they are basically taught communism. Scary.
BTW, after meeting the “teachers” of these courses, I walked away with a new outlook of what comprises an educator, by my standards. The whole system is really skewed.

The first time I ever heard the phrase, none dare call it treason, was when it appeared as the title of a best-selling book, published in 1964, written by John Stormer. The title was taken from a famous epigram by Sir John Harington, who was a witty and erudite figure at the court of Elizabeth I. Harington wrote: “Treason doth never prosper. What’s the reason? Why, if it prosper, none dare call it treason.”
An interesting aside is that Harington also is credited with being the inventor of the flush toilet. It’s hard to imagine anything that has made a greater impact on the world than that, but it is his enlightening quip on treason that caused his name to be well known in history.
The message of Stormer’s book was that the United States government was in danger of being conquered by a well-defined group of people who are hostile to the country’s traditional political, cultural, and social values and were bent on changing them to conform to a modern, high-tech version of the old-world model of feudalism. The new version is called collectivism and includes a ruling elite in control of a subservient working class, comparable to what used to be called serfs.
The conquest, however, was not by soldiers from other nations. Rather, they were American citizens who were using the democratic process to infiltrate the power centers of America. One-by-one, these centers of influence were being captured in a quiet and gradual conquest-from-within that not one person in a thousand was able to detect.
The significance of the book’s title, therefore, was profound. The conquest of America had advanced so far that the conquerors were already in place at the highest levels of government and now were in charge of deciding who the traitors are. Stormer was able to show convincingly that the defenders of the old traditions were already classified as enemies of the state. The word treason is not far from that.
All of this came to mind when I prepared the first story in our news column about the newspaper editor in Turkey who was arrested and charged with treason for telling the truth about his government’s role in delivering weapons to ISIS in Syria. Turkey, of course, is a long way from here, but Washington, DC, is not. It is in Washington that people at the highest levels of the government are calling for the public hanging of Edward Snowden for exposing the unconstitutional and unethical surveillance activities of the NSA.

Dear Edward Griffin, What you are doing for Freedom is very important and courageous too. And the news you put out always seems to be accurate. I always read what you write, but get concerned about the ‘anti Israel’ bias, which definitely appears regularly.
I understand that the reason that the concert hall in Paris was attacked is that, 9 years ago, it held a pro Israel meeting. Please make sure you report things fairly and find out from Israel exactly what is going on. I strongly suggest you subscribe to Israel Today, their website. Interesting to note that, when the Israelis behave badly, they are always the first to talk about it.

Hello Wendy. Thank you for your compliments about our news service. I am surprised, however, to learn that you think we have an anti-Israeli bias. We try very hard to have no bias whatsoever – except for truth.
We often criticize the actions of corrupt or power-mad politicians in the United States government, but that does not mean we have an anti-American bias. Just the opposite is true. We believe that the highest obligation of patriotism is to oppose corruption in leadership.
Your statement about the motive for attacking the concert hall is an interesting case in point. That is the kind of story that we probably would publish but only if it could be documented from a reliable source, such as ISIS, itself. If true, that is exactly the kind of thing that ISIS leaders would be anxious for the world to know.
Can you tell us the source of this claim? If the source is the Israeli government, the only way we would report on it is to identify its source and let the readers decide for themselves how reliable it is. However, if we did that, our report could be said to have an anti-Israeli bias. It is very hard to be totally honest in a conflict with such strong passion on both sides.
I would be glad to re-examine any news story that you feel was not truthful. If that can be independently documented by reliable parties who are not, themselves, aligned with combatants in the conflict, we will gladly retract the story and replace it with a more accurate report.

They say they are on the way to the Black Lives Matter protest at which five demonstrators were shot. Most viewers would conclude that these are the men who are responsible. Black Lives Matter posted the video, but the original source was blocked so it cannot be authenticated. Dear Edward Griffin, What you are doing for Freedom is very important and courageous too. And the news you put out always seems to be accurate. I always read what you write, but get concerned about the ‘anti Israel’ bias, which definitely appears regularly.
I understand that the reason that the concert hall in Paris was attacked is that, 9 years ago, it held a pro Israel meeting. Please make sure you report things fairly and find out from Israel exactly what is going on. I strongly suggest you subscribe to Israel Today, their website. Interesting to note that, when the Israelis behave badly, they are always the first to talk about it.

Hello Wendy. Thank you for your compliments about our news service. I am surprised, however, to learn that you think we have an anti-Israeli bias. We try very hard to have no bias whatsoever – except for truth.
We often criticize the actions of corrupt or power-mad politicians in the United States government, but that does not mean we have an anti-American bias. Just the opposite is true. We believe that the highest obligation of patriotism is to oppose corruption in leadership.
Your statement about the motive for attacking the concert hall is an interesting case in point. That is the kind of story that we probably would publish but only if it could be documented from a reliable source, such as ISIS, itself. If true, that is exactly the kind of thing that ISIS leaders would be anxious for the world to know.
Can you tell us the source of this claim? If the source is the Israeli government, the only way we would report on it is to identify its source and let the readers decide for themselves how reliable it is. However, if we did that, our report could be said to have an anti-Israeli bias. It is very hard to be totally honest in a conflict with such strong passion on both sides.
I would be glad to re-examine any news story that you feel was not truthful. If that can be independently documented by reliable parties who are not, themselves, aligned with combatants in the conflict, we will gladly retract the story and replace it with a more accurate report.

The primary focus of this week’s news is terrorism, so let’s talk about that.
Terrorists attack humans, to be sure, but the real targets are governments. The goal of terrorism is to destabilize governments so their present leaders can be replaced by a new ones who will serve the interests of those who finance, train, and direct the terrorists. Who are they?
Those who direct the terrorists are ruling elites who previously captured the financial and military resources of another government. Although it may look like governments are the culprits, the truth is that terrorism is a tactic of war that is waged by ruling elites who seek to covertly control all governments in what they fondly describe as a New World Order.
In 1982, I produced a documentary called No Place to Hide; The Strategy and Tactics of Terrorism. If you are interested in the origins of this strategy, you will find it there.
It is hard for most people to imagine that there are those who would deliberately destroy for the sake of destruction, itself. However, to bring about regime change, as they now call it, it is said to be necessary to destroy the regimes they do not control.
In Chapter Five of The Creature from Jekyll Island; A Second Look at The Federal Reserve, I described a stained-glass window in the Beatrice Webb House in Surry, England, that once served as the headquarters of the Fabian Socialist Society. The Fabians were (and still are) a highly influential elite that advocates collectivism through legislation. But, first, they say, the public has to be conditioned to want it.
That takes us back to the stained-glass window, which graphically depicts the Fabian strategy. The Fabian Crest is shown in the top, right quadrant and depicts a wolf in sheep’s clothing! Across the bottom, the masses are shown kneeling in adoration of a stack of books advocating socialism.
From the perspective of toppling governments with terrorism and then counter-terrorism, the most startling image depicts George Bernard Shaw and Sidney Web (famous members of the Fabian Society) striking a world globe with hammers!
If you are in doubt about what that means, it is explained directly above the image by the last lines from Omar Khayyam:

Dear Edward Griffin, What you are doing for Freedom is very important and courageous too. And the news you put out always seems to be accurate. I always read what you write, but get concerned about the ‘anti Israel’ bias, which definitely appears regularly.
I understand that the reason that the concert hall in Paris was attacked is that, 9 years ago, it held a pro Israel meeting. Please make sure you report things fairly and find out from Israel exactly what is going on. I strongly suggest you subscribe to Israel Today, their website. Interesting to note that, when the Israelis behave badly, they are always the first to talk about it.

Hello Wendy. Thank you for your compliments about our news service. I am surprised, however, to learn that you think we have an anti-Israeli bias. We try very hard to have no bias whatsoever – except for truth.
We often criticize the actions of corrupt or power-mad politicians in the United States government, but that does not mean we have an anti-American bias. Just the opposite is true. We believe that the highest obligation of patriotism is to oppose corruption in leadership.
Your statement about the motive for attacking the concert hall is an interesting case in point. That is the kind of story that we probably would publish but only if it could be documented from a reliable source, such as ISIS, itself. If true, that is exactly the kind of thing that ISIS leaders would be anxious for the world to know.
Can you tell us the source of this claim? If the source is the Israeli government, the only way we would report on it is to identify its source and let the readers decide for themselves how reliable it is. However, if we did that, our report could be said to have an anti-Israeli bias. It is very hard to be totally honest in a conflict with such strong passion on both sides.
I would be glad to re-examine any news story that you feel was not truthful. If that can be independently documented by reliable parties who are not, themselves, aligned with combatants in the conflict, we will gladly retract the story and replace it with a more accurate report.

The three articles posted at the top of this week’s edition tell quite a story beyond the words themselves – actually, several stories.
One is that, ever since the UN was created after World War II, supposedly to put an end to war, the number of wars, and the number of people suffering from the horrors of war, have steadily climbed to the point where, today, war is the main preoccupation of mankind. In fact, the planet seems to be tottering on the edge of a great precipice much too casually referred to as WWIII.
The other story is that the United States, whose father warned in his Farewell Address against the dangers of foreign entanglements, now is the primary instigator of foreign entanglements and military intervention.
It is astounding and frightening that a fairly obscure civil servant, appointed by the President, can hold a press conference and declare war on another nation without even a ripple of objection in Congress or mainstream media. That was the essence of the announcement made last week by Deborah Lee James, Secretary for the US Air Force, when she calmly explained that the US military intends to occupy Syria with ground soldiers and then rule over it.
Actions have consequences, and we know what the consequences are of aggressive wars. (I have no quarrel with defensive wars if that’s what they really are and not just a pretense. A military attack on a nation to bring about a regime change that will be to our liking or benefit is not a defensive war.)
It is true that aggressors are respected out of fear, but it also is true that they are hated by a vast, unseen army of victims who wait for the day of revenge.
Eventually, the aggressor becomes exhausted and vulnerable. When that day arrives, the Gods of the Copybook Headings will speak once again:

Dear Ed, The people who “run” (missing an “i”) our country use two aspects of fear to control us, in my humble opinion. The first is the unease we feel when having to count on the truthfulness of words coming out of our politician’s mouths. Even those who don’t understand why falsehoods are bad still don’t feel at ease when they hear them. They deny their own gut feelings that tell them they should be wary. It’s like walking down a dark alley and seeing the silhouette of a person you know is insane.
And the other aspect of fear is knowing that something you are doing is breaking the law or an ordinance or a rule of some kind. We’ve literally become a nation of lawbreakers. Up where I live you can’t even burn firewood in some of the towns, because someone has deemed it unhealthy. This is in spite of the fact that generations of families have lived up here and burned wood for heat. Coincidentally, natural gas has recently been piped into these towns and will become a source of “revenue” for the township. Tony Soprano would be proud and envious.
The thought of going to jail for some unreasonable violation brings with it, not just the length of time we might spend there, but what awaits us if we do. I think the reason we keep criminal psychopaths alive in our “correctional” facilities is, not to be humane, but to scare the living daylights out of the rest of us. If you break a law to stand up for something you believe in, not only do you spend time in jail, but you become a piece of meat for the wierdo spending the rest of his life in the bunk next to you.
The nasty little secret is that these monsters are used to keep us in line. So it’s fear being used to control us and to prey upon us. Maybe someday we’ll just get tired of it. I know I am.

It is getting close to the holiday season. Those ornaments made in China remind me of the days I spent in a Chinese labor camp because of my belief.
Before I came to the United States in 2011, every single day, I was filled with fear and anxiety. For 18 months from 2002 to 2004, I was detained in a labor camp in Hubel Province just because I had practiced Falun Gong, a traditional Chinese meditation practice based on the principle of Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance.
The Chinese Communist Party has been persecuting Falun Gong practitioners since 1999, putting millions of practitioners to prisons and labor camps. Thousand of them died from torture.
During the first three months in the labor camp, I was forced to sit on a little stool from 6 a.m. until midnight and watch videos slandering Falun Gong. The labor camp assigned two drug addicts to monitor me 24/7. They beat me whenever I moved or closed my eyes.
Throughout the rest of my detention, I was forced to do slave labor every day by assembling paper boxes and gift bags.
My roommate Jixiang Wan, another Falun Gong practitioner, was sentenced to three years in prison in 2003. To force him to give up his belief, the Hubel police used a cigarette lighter to burn his chin.
They beat him so violently that he lost all hearing in his left ear. Jixiang never finished his prison term. His health deteriorated during his time in prison. He died in May 2005 at the age of 37.
As a survivor of the persecution, I hope my voice can support my fellow practitioners in China who risk their lives to disclose the Communist regime’s brutal persecution toward the most peaceful group in the world.

Dear Ed, The one common denominator in so many of the issues you so elegantly help us see is the lies that are probably at the bottom of the issue. The global warming myth is the perfect example. It’s apparently based upon untruths and we don’t have a court which allows us to challenge the veracity of the science used to fuel the laws that are being shoved down our throats.
Lying, obfuscation, deception just seems to be the order of the day and standard operating procedure. The feeling of hopelessness that permeates our political landscape is caused by the understanding that almost nothing we hear is true.
Lying should be a punishable offense, and when the lies are issuing from our “leaders”, the punishment should be extremely severe. They only understand fear. Reason, well that was canned a long time ago – just about at the same time as lies became acceptable.

Last week’s edition carried the theme that the public is finally realizing that man-made global warming is a politically motivated myth. Normally, we would look for something else to discuss for this edition, but the current week’s news is so loaded with stories about the collapse of the global-warming myth that we could not ignore it.
The four reports at the beginning of this issue tell the story quite well, so additional commentary on that would be repetitious. The big view, however, is that the UN climate conference in France this month is pre-programmed to ram through a treaty to institutionalize re-distribution of wealth from nations with a high standard of living to those with a low standard, and do this in the name of fighting global warming. To be more exact, the plan is to transfer wealth from the citizen of high-standard nations to the politicians and administrators of the low-standard nations – with political and banking brokers at the UN slicing off a hefty share of the pie as it passes through. The needy masses will never benefit – and the climate will not be affected one iota.
The cooling enthusiasm for the global-warming story is a hot topic, and the warmists at the Paris conference must instinctively know that it is now or never. If they do not get commitment from the national delegates this time around, future public pushback will be overwhelming. Therefore it is a fairly safe prediction to say that the delegates will try to ignore and casually dismiss these latest reports and push ahead with their agenda full force.
This is an extremely perilous moment for the future of liberty.

The US Senate voted for a “resolution of disapproval” against the EPA’s new rules that control small streams, tributaries and wetlands. The water utility company for Washington, DC, has installed a system that turns sewage into electricity. It extracts water from the solid waste, cooks the residue, and then introduces microbes that break down organic matter and produce methane gas. It is a relief for those of us who have been shouting from the rooftops for years, that the theory of global-warming is a political weapon, to see that, at last, we are at the tipping point where public opinion has caught up with reality.
Thousands of researchers, scientists, and scholars have weighed in on the side of truth and, as reported in this issue, even professional mathematicians have joined the growing chorus. We have reached the point where any grade-school child can see through the lie that most scientists agree that anthropomorphic global warming is real.
In fact, it is just the other way around. The scientists who still support that hoax are, almost entirely, those who are employed by governments or by institutions that depend on government funding. That, by itself, is a dead give-away that there is something very political about this whole thing.
Did I say “something” political? The fact is that it’s totally political. The entire scheme is designed to frighten us into thinking that our planet, our way of life, our very survival is being threatened by a force so powerful and unrelenting that our only hope is a unified action of all mankind, coordinated by our gallant and unselfish political leaders. That means we must not object when they slap us with higher taxes, take away our property, and regulate every detail of our personal lives – all in the name of stopping global warming.
Globally minded politicians are aware that they are in a race against time.
They know they must finish the job of creating global government based on the model of collectivism very soon before the rising tide of public awareness makes that task impossible.
It is true that they have other schemes that can be used to frighten the public into passive acceptance of servitude – such as terrorism and civil disorder – but environmentalism has the advantage of producing results even without visible chaos. The imagination is a powerful force, and would-be tyrants are well versed in how to use that force against freedom.

PROBLEM WITH A CONSTITUTIONAL CONVENTION

Hello Joe.
Please re-read the section of my message that follows the photo collage. It clarifies the problem of trying to make a meaningful change by convening the states to re-write the Constitution (amending is the indirect way of re-writing it).
The problem is that the people who will attend such a convention will not be those who think like we do but are the ones already in power who hate the restraints against their power that the Constitution provides. What good will it do if the states change the Constitution so it can be “harmonized” with world government based on the model of collectivism?
By the way, once the convention is called, there is no way to limit the scope of the amendments, contrary to what Levin says.
Until we deal with the ideology behind our efforts, we are merely re-arranging deck chairs on the sinking Titanic. That’s precisely what Operation Destination is all about. Something to think about, and thanks for caring.
