IS TRUMP A GLOBALIST?

At present, the answer is maybe yes and maybe no. We’ll get back to globalism and foreign policy in a moment but, first, let’s look at domestic policy.

We should be grateful that Trump has made an impressive start in office by, not only speaking the rhetoric of less government, but taking steps to actually start dismantling the behemoth. That is something I thought I would never see in my lifetime.

The use of executive orders to accomplish this is worrisome to those of us who have read the Constitution, but the immediate effect is that we may have been given some much-needed additional time to mobilize against chaos and tyranny.

Reversing the steep decline in domestic tranquility, freedom, privacy, and prosperity are incredibly important objectives, but they are of no avail if, at the same time, we are crushed by the cost of endless wars and lose our national sovereignty to the UN. If we become so occupied with issues such as taxes, jobs, health care, environmental regulations, and illegal immigration that we fail to defend against the globalist takeover of our military and monetary system, corrupt leaders around the world then will dictate our laws, and we will lose everything.

Because Mr. Trump is doing some good things in terms of domestic policy, there is a tendency for people to think that they should remain silent when he does some bad things relating to foreign policy. As usual, we are asked to make a choice. We either are for or against. No middle ground. If you like Trump’s domestic policies, then, remain silent about everything else!

That’s not what we do at Need to Know. Our commitment is to face reality – all of it, not just the part we like. In keeping with that resolve, we have placed five stories into the following section that provide reasons to be alert to the possibility that, when Mr. Trump visited Henry Kissinger at the height of his campaign, a deal might have been made that now is unfolding to public view.

Maybe yes. Maybe no. Time will tell.
