News and commentaries that reveal historical facts and trends that place current events into perspective and make it possible to anticipate future events.
Bill Kristol, ‘conservative’ Editor of The Weekly Standard, in response to a report that white, working-class Americans have become lazy, wrote a propaganda statement that deserves to be in textbooks on brainwashing. Kristol did not challenge the basic assumption or examine the possibility that welfare is more responsible than skin color or income level. Instead, he said that “luckily” we have waves of people coming in from Italy, Ireland, Russia, and Mexico who, instead of clipping coupons and trying to hang on, want to work hard and succeed. He actually said that. Are not most of the people he mentioned considered white? Is in not true that the reason immigrants theoretically are willing to work hard is so they can join the middle class? Is it not true that many immigrants seek to clip coupons and attempt to hang on via welfare because doing so in the US is a lot easier than hanging on elsewhere? Do readers of The Weekly Standard not understand that they are being propagandized? Washington Times 2017 Feb 9 (Story)
US: A member of the Trilateral Commission has entered the Trump administration as the Deputy Assistant to the President for International Economic Affairs, where he will sit on the National Security Council. Trilateral Commission members have been directly responsible for the creation of Sustainable Development, Agenda 21 and other UN programs. Technocracy News 2017 Feb 6 (Story) (Cached)

Melissa Dykes analyses President Trump’s record of endorsing the globalist agenda. She explains why she thinks that wars in the Middle East will continue exactly as they have under Clinton, both Bushes, and Obama; why a war with Russia will continue to be favored, and why the US will continue to be a military proxy for the Israeli government. Melissa also shows why Trump gently criticizes globalist banks, but has no concrete proposals to rein in their power. This is a disturbing analysis but it does explain Trump’s selection of globalists for all important diplomatic and military positions in his administration. When he went to visit Henry Kissinger early in his campaign, could this have been the ‘deal’ that led to the ‘surprise’ defeat of Hillary? Very disturbing thought, indeed. Melissa Dykes is on a roll. Now she shifts her analysis to Trump’s ardent followers and to those behind the scenes who are directing what might be called chaos theater, with actors from both left and right, to divide and conquer the vast majority of Americans who are being led to accept totalitarian methods so long as they are offered in the name of putting an end to the chaos. Phoenix, Arizona: Protests erupted after Guadalupe García de Rayos was deported back to Mexico under President Trump’s executive order that requires deportation of any illegal alien who commits a criminal offense. She has a conviction for providing a fake social security number to her employer in 2008. Her two children are American citizens. [Pardon our cinisism, but it appears that this relatively mild criminal offense was chosen as a high-profile case for CBS reporting to arouse public sentiment against the deportation policy. Why didn’t CBS choose to report on the deportation of a convicted thief, rapist, or killer?] CBS News 2017 Feb 9 (Story)

US: At least 121 murders between 2010 and 2014 were committed by convicted illegal aliens who were released instead of deported. The Obama administration did not deport them because most of them came from countries that would not take them back. A Supreme Court ruling from 15 years ago says the US cannot imprison a deportable foreign national for more than six months. [This Court ruling could be overcome by legislation if legislators really wanted to do so.] Newsmax 2017 Feb 7 (Story) (Cached)
