*with lots of money

The University of Alaska has bought HAARP, the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program, after the US military shut it down in 2014. The University is seeking customers among well funded scientists interested in the effects of artificially heating the global atmosphere. Although HAARP currently is turned off, there are similar facilities in other parts of the world that continue to be operational. It is widely believed that this technology is being used covertly for weather modification. Valdez Star posted 2015 Sep 5 (Story) (Cached)

San Francisco: A federal court has ruled in favor of plaintiffs from the honey and honeybee business who blame the decline in bee populations on pesticides known as neonicotinoids. The original lawsuit, filed in 2013, challenged EPA approval of insecticides containing sulfoxaflor, which is a neonicotinoid subclass. Dow Chemical has vowed to get their product back on the market.
