Texas: The installation commander at the Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio confirmed that a shooting occurred Friday morning that left two people dead. He added, however, that it was not an act of terrorism and that more information will be released soon pending further investigation. Reuters 2016 Apr 8 (Story)

Another high-level whistleblower has come forward to condemn the MMR vaccine (Mumps, Measles and Rubella). Dr. Peter Fletcher, who served in the 70s as the Chief Scientific Officer at the UK Department of Health, says that, if governments continue to ignore the risks of the MMR vaccine, it will become one of the greatest scandals in medical history. He says there are people in very powerful positions who deny the link to autism because they have staked their reputations on the safety of MMR and are willing to do anything to protect their careers. Wikileaks says that the Panama Papers document dump was ‘produced’ by the US Agency for International Development and George Soros. The goal was to weaken public support for Russia and Putin. It is well known that USAID and Soros worked together behind the scenes to overthrow Serbian leader Milosevic in 2000, to organize the Rose Revolution in Georgia in 2003, the Orange Revolution in Ukraine in 2004, and the Tulip Revolution in Kyrgyzstan in 2005. Brussels and Dutch political leadership decided, without consulting their constituents, that Ukraine should be admitted to the European Union. However, when a referendum was held in Holland, 61% voted against Ukraine entry into the EU. Dutch voters’ dissatisfaction with the EU system indicated that they may follow the UK in their June attempt to exit from the EU. TruNews 2016 Apr 7 (Story) (Cached)

The Department of Justice says it has the names of 200 Americans whose offshore investments were revealed in the Panama Papers. It is significant that no high ranking political figures are among them, suggesting that the list was scrubbed before being released. Attorney Mike Papantonio says that the DOJ likely will only go after ‘low hanging fruit’ tax dodgers. RT 2016 Apr 7 (Story)

Drug companies have increased prices of many drugs sold in the US by 50% over the last five years. Prices of four of the ten top-selling drugs for high cholesterol and arthritis rose by more than 100% since 2011. The companies claim they need to recoup costs for research and failed drugs. [We think they raise prices because they have a monopoly in the market, and buyers have no choice – and it’s paid by insurance anyway.] Care2 2016 Apr 6 (Story) (Cached)

President Obama is putting $589 million into development of a Zika-virus vaccine and into research on how it is spread by mosquitoes. He is calling on Congress to provide a total of $1.9 billion for this purpose. The mainstream media is continuing to make the false claim that the Zika virus is linked to the birth defect microcephaly in children. There is no evidence to support that claim and much that disproves it. CBS News 2016 Apr 6 (Story)

We reported months ago that there were many reasons to reject the claim that the Zika virus was linked to microcephaly. Now, investigative reporter Jon Rappoport presents additional facts from Brazil to strengthen that skepticism. There are many other potential causes that range from malnutrition and poor sanitation to mosquito pesticide that was added to drinking water. All of these are more likely than the Zika-virus theory, but they don’t justify putting $2-billion of taxes into the political cookie jar. Jon Rappoport Blog posted 2016 Apr 6 (Story) (Cached)

A US federal judge granted approval Monday to an estimated $20.8 billion final settlement in the 2010 BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Most of the money will go to federal, state, and local governments. We don’t expect to see much of it trickle down to the people whose livelihoods and health were ruined. CBS News 2016 Apr 5 (Story)

The US Department of Justice (DOJ) set up a fake school called the University of Northern New Jersey to entrap students and enrollment brokers who were seeking, not an education, but a way to obtain visas. Twenty one brokers were arrested, and 1,076 foreign ‘students’, mostly from China and India, were enrolled in non-existent classes. CBS News 2016 Apr 5 (Story)

Iceland’s Prime Minister, Gunnlaugsson, under massive public pressure, resigned over the Panama Papers. He moved millions of dollars in personal holdings from his country’s failing banks to offshore banks. Then, one day before a law was enacted requiring government officers to disclose such holdings, he sold his shares to his wife for $1. CBS News 2016 Apr 5 (Story)

In the past three months, the Veterans Affairs Department has taken away the Constitutional right-to-bear arms from over 250,000 veterans. The VA created a program supposedly to help veterans manage their finances. That’s the bait. If veterans accept the assistance, the VA reports them to the FBI as unqualified to own a firearm. Without psychological evaluation, it is assumed that anyone who can’t manage money cannot be trusted with a gun. [Politicians are the world’s worst managers of money, but don’t expect this rule to apply to them.] RT 2016 Apr 5 (Story)

Michigan: Khalil Abu-Rayyan says that he pretended to make plans for a mass shooting in order to impress a woman he wanted to marry. Unknown to him, the woman was an FBI informant who was encouraging him to undertake violent acts. This is merely the latest in a long history of the FBI encouraging violence so it can intervene at the last minute and claim that it ‘prevented’ terrorism. RT 2016 Apr 4 (Story)

To keep the myth of global warming alive in the minds of Americans, the White House issued a warning on April 4th that ‘extreme heat can be expected to cause an increase in the number of premature deaths’. However, on that same day, the National Weather Service issued weather advisories for April snowstorms. A bitter-cold Arctic front descended on New England, the Upper Midwest, and Great-Lakes areas bringing heavy snowfall expected to last through next week. CNS News 2016 Apr 4 (Story) (Cached)

The ‘Panama Papers’ is the name given to an enormous collection of documents leaked from a financial firm in Panama relating to about 300,000 off-shore holding companies created to protect the assets of politicians, royalty, and celebrities from 40 countries. [The fact that the 11.5 million documents contain no names from the US and no names of people in other countries who are supporters of the US suggests that the list was scrubbed for political purposes. Who would do such a thing? See James Corbett’s report, below, for the answer.] RT 2016 Apr 4 (Story)

James Corbett explains that the Panama Papers were released by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists, which is funded by George Soros’ Open Society Foundation, the Ford Foundation, and other major components of the Western globalist community. It is not surprising, therefore, that the parties who are singled out for exposure all are in disfavor of the US State Department. Corbett Report 2016 Apr 4 (Story)

Maryland: Former Judge Robert Nalley was sentenced to participate in an anger-management program and fined $5,000 for ordering a police officer to administer a 50,000-volt shock to defendant Delvon King. During court proceedings, the judge was angered when King defied his order to stop talking. India posted 2016 Apr 2 (Story) (Cached)
