New Mexico: Another Trump rally has been marred by violence. Senator Marco Rubio, a former opponent of Trump in the presidential race, challenges the media to expose the truth about anti-Trump protesters. He says they are professional disruptors who belong to The Party for Socialism and Liberation and The Red Nation. Both groups reportedly are funded by George Soros. [No one asked for our opinion, but Soros is no dummy; so why would he want violent anti-Trump demonstrations, knowing that this creates popular support for Trump in reaction against the demonstrators? Just asking.] Western Journalism 2016 May 26 (Story) (Cached)

New superbug found in US. It is an E. coli bacterium that is resistant to the antibiotic of last resort, Colistin. It is possible that the bacterium, which has been found in pigs raised in Chinese ‘factory farms’ has developed from the overuse of antibiotics in farm animals. US: The Department of Veterans Affairs, under fire for making vets wait two years for basic medical care, now has cut off the benefits of 4,201 veterans who died since 2011. The problem is that they are very much alive and now are having trouble proving that fact to the VA computer. Activist Post 2016 May 26 (Story) (Cached)

Japan: Fukushima clean-up chief is still hunting for 600 tons of melted radioactive fuel. The exact location of the melted fuel rods remains a mystery. Even if the blobs are located, the technology to remove them has yet to be invented. Robots have been used to access buildings where humans cannot go, but radiation disabled the robots within three hours. Decommissioning and cleanup of the nuke plant will take 30 to 40 years and tens of billions of dollars. ABC 2016 May 24 (Story) (Cached)

The US is the largest arms exporter in the world, responsible for 33% of arms exports across the planet. This is a boon to the US arms industry, but not to the US economy. That’s because most of the money paid by other countries for US weapons was given to those countries by the US government in the form of ‘aid’. In other words, this is a means of funneling money from taxpayers into the military-industrial complex that then gives the weapons they produce to governments they favor. Top recipients are Israel, Egypt, Jordan, Pakistan, and Iraq. CNN 2016 May 24 (Story)

The FBI wants to exempt its $1-billion Next Generation Identification System (NGIS) from the US Privacy Act. The agency wants to prevent individuals from knowing whether they are in the data center that contains information and photos of 52-million people. The system has information on everyone who has been fingerprinted or iris-scanned for jobs, security clearances, or licenses, including military service. NGIS’ biometric database has a false positive rate of 20%. Breitbart 2016 May 24 (Story) (Cached)

A 2013 White House report on spying stated: “governments should not use their offensive cyber capabilities to change the amounts held in financial accounts or otherwise manipulate financial systems.” That implies that the US government, through the NSA, has been (and probably still is) changing financial accounts and manipulating financial systems. Anyone else doing that would be thrown in prison. However, the NSA employs a thousand analysts and hackers, and monitors international banking and credit-card payments. The agency is a subsidiary of the Pentagon, and some fear that military black-budget projects may be funded by manipulating financial systems and by insider trading based on data collected from spying. Health authorities in Canada, following the lead of the US, have approved the sale of GMO salmon that grow three times faster than natural fish. It is the first genetically altered animal to be allowed for consumption in Canada. The Frankenfish poses a threat to natural salmon and may cause problems for human health. RT 2016 May 24 (Story)

US: In response to the Senate vote that allows families of 9/11 victims to sue Saudi Arabia, a Saudi legal expert claims that the US government masterminded the 9/11 attacks to create a nebulous “enemy” in order to create public support for a global war on terror. He says the elites and war profiteers need an enemy to justify their actions. Free Though Project 2016 May 23 (Story) (Cached)

Accusations of pedophilia against Hollywood insiders recently have been documented by victims Corey Feldman and Corey Haim, who were child stars in the 1990s. Both became drug addicts, which contributed to Haim’s death in 2010. This article, based on an interview with former child actor, Elijah Wood, reveals a picture of incredible depravity that is hidden from public view. The BizParentz Foundation, an organization to protect child actors, says that Hollywood currently is sheltering about 100 active abusers. The Australian 2016 May 23 (Story) (Cached)

California: A battle over gun control is raging between two Democrats, Lieutenant-Governor, Gavin Newsom, and state Senator Kevin de Leon, who are vying to be the next Democrat Governor. Eleven fast-tracked gun-control bills are sweeping California’s legislature. They include registering homemade guns, bans on antique guns, the launching of a gun-violence propaganda program as a healthcare issue, the criminalization of loaning guns to friends, requiring the report of stolen guns, and requiring background checks for ammo purchases. Conchita Sarnoff is the author of TrafficKing, a book about sexual abuse of minors, with a special focus on Bill Clinton’s friend, Jeffrey Epstein. About 100 underage girl victims filed reports against Epstein, a Wall Street tycoon, leading to a negotiated charge of only two counts of solicitation of prostitution with a minor. He served 13 months in a county jail under a non-prosecution agreement, which means that high-level politicians were protected by not having to testify during a trial. This strategy now has become a legal precedent for other human traffickers. InfoWars 2016 May 21 (Story)

US: Kemp Ensor, NSA Director of Security, wants to monitor the at-home online activity of employees who have access to classified material. A Pentagon security official also said that full-time monitoring is important because he sees an ‘unbelievable’ amount of child porn on government computers, and workers who engage in viewing the material could be blackmailed. [Amazing! They are not concerned over the personal character of employees who enjoy watching child porn, only that they could be blackmailed. That speaks volumes about the moral standards of the agency.] NextGov posted 2016 May 21 (Story) (Cached)
