GUARANTEED INCOME = DEPENDENCE

Dear Ed,
It was pointed out to me that the reason governments are going towards a guaranteed income is so the populace will be dependent on, and therefore subservient to, the government. So in addition to impinging on the freedom of the people the government wants to take the money from, a guaranteed income would also impinge on the freedom of the people that the government wants to give the money to. That’s because freedom and responsibility are two sides of the same coin. Thanks for all you do.
