THIS WEEK IN REVIEW

The hacker known as Guccifer 2.0 has posted emails that he says were from the email account of Representative Nancy Pelosi (former Speaker of the House). These emails show that she was one of the first to spin the Benghazi event as a spontaneous protest instead of a planned attack. Fox News 2016 Sep 1 (Story)

South Carolina: As a preemptive strike against Zika-carrying mosquitoes, Dorchester County sprayed the pesticide Naled and killed millions of honey bees. There have been no Zika cases contracted in the state. Studies show that Naled actually increases future adult mosquito populations. Daily Sheeple 2016 Sep 1 (Story) (Cached)

The Syrian ambassador to the UN has contested the UN declaration that the Syrian government used chlorine gas as a weapon. He said that all the witnesses were supplied by Syria’s enemies and that the UN failed to present any physical evidence to validate the report. Nevertheless, the US, the UK, and France have called for action against the Assad regime. AFP 2016 Aug 31 (Story)

Three professors co-teaching an online course called “Medical Humanities in the Digital Age” at the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs told their students that man-made climate change is not open for debate, and those who think otherwise have no place in their course. They said: “We will not, at any time, debate the science of climate change.” [Of course! If you can’t win a debate, the fallback position is to prevent it.] The College Fix 2016 Aug 31 (Story) (Cached)

Twin Falls, Idaho: The rape of a five-year-old child by three refugees did not result in arrests until more than two weeks had passed. Federal officials are not happy about news coverage of this incident, presumably because it might create public opposition to the immigration program currently underway. US Attorney, Wendy Olson, announced that anyone who speaks ‘inaccurately’ about this case [which means if they imply that the immigration program is at fault] could face federal charges. Leaked documents from George Soros’ Open Society Foundation reveal that he is using the Black Lives Matter movement as a tool to further a hidden agenda. That agenda supposedly is police reform, but the ultimate goal is federalizing [and then internationalizing] America’s police forces. Daily Sheeple 2016 Aug 31 (Story) (Cached)

A false report of gunshots at Los Angeles International Airport started a stampede by terrified airline customers all over the airport, even in restricted areas. Air traffic was grounded for hours, while police searched the area. Traffic on the nearby freeway was mired in gridlock. This event followed a similar false alarm at the JFK airport in New York two weeks ago. CNN 2016 Aug 29 (Story)

At the LAX International Airport in Los Angeles, California, a man dressed as Zorro wielding a fake plastic sword drew the attention of police and was in the process of being arrested at gunpoint when word spread through social media about a ‘shooter’ at LAX. Another odd event took place in Prague last week in which phony jihadists wearing masks, waving ISIS flags, and carrying fake but real looking sub-machine guns carried out a fake terror attack. The fact that these men were not killed by police suggests that it may have been a drill. It is possible that all of these incidents are experiments by authorities to gauge public reaction and to test the ability of social media to generate panic and other mob reactions. Yemen: ISIS claimed responsibility for a car-bomb attack that killed 60 people, mostly pro-government troops who were formerly allied with ISIS fighting against the Houthis. Political commentator, Marwa Osman, says that the attack is not motivated by loyalty to one regime or another as it is by rivalry between two splinter groups or ‘gangs’ fighting each other for dominance. Beyond that, ISIS is a proxy army used to destabilize regimes like Syria to bring about regime change that is more to the liking of the Saudis and the US. RT 2016 Aug 29 (Story)

Phoenix, Arizona: A cancer patient secretly recorded his appointment at a Veterans Administration treatment center, exposing the “nightmare” phone-scheduling system and the unwieldy patient load for doctors. Fox News 2016 Aug 28 (Story)
