Regardless of differences of opinion on the merits and demerits of Donald Trump, I think most of us take satisfaction from the fact that his popularity proves that the American people are tired of political correctness. The Donald has made enough politically incorrect statements to dislodge a hundred political candidates who are cowed by such things. For him, however, he just sticks out his chin and, in effect, says: “Yup. That’s what I said. You have a problem with that?” and people love it, not necessarily because they agree with him, but because he is … well, different from the rest.
This week, Trump did it again but, ironically, it turns out that his remark about Obama and Hillary being ‘founders’ of ISIS is closer to the truth than most people realize, depending only on the intended definition of the word “founder”.
As the following stories illustrate, ISIS really is the creation of the US State Department and the CIA, and that fact now is openly admitted even by Obama and Hillary. The spin, of course, is that, although this has turned out to be a huge problem for the world today, back at the time the policy was being developed, it was a good thing because, supposedly, it was necessary to prevent the Soviets from maintaining a stronghold in the Middle East.
The point here is, not whether or not that spin is correct, but simply that, politically incorrect or not, Trump is right, and it’s time the American people and world leaders face that fact squarely.

After backlash and a drop in the polls, Donald Trump is trying to undo his comments that Obama is the founder of ISIS and Hillary is the co-founder by saying that it was sarcasm. The Hill 2016 Aug 12 (Story) (Cached)
Infowars comes to the defense of Donald Trump and presents proof that he was correct when he said that Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are founding members of ISIS. The reasoning is that they earned that title when they supported the bankrolling and arming of jihadists in Syria and Libya. Clinton even admitted in 2009 that the US government was responsible for al-Qaeda, which then morphed into ISIS. InfoWars 2016 Aug 11 (Story) (Cached)
Reporter David Knight decodes recent media reports, including one from the NY Times that admits the US is fighting a proxy war against Russia in Syria. Russia’s proxy is the regime of Syrian President Assad that is fighting against the US-backed ‘rebel offensive’ which is a euphemism for al-Qaeda, al-Nusra, and ISIS. The NY Times also admits that the rebel offensive (including ISIS) is aided by the CIA and Saudi Arabia. This is the key that unlocks the puzzle of why ISIS is a proxy for the US. Sad but true. Syria: Last week, a large cache of weapons was found in territory formerly controlled by ISIS that were left behind by rebels from an al-Nusra group. Most of the weapons appear to be of US origin. Among the items are mortars, guided missiles and American TOW anti-tank missile systems. PressTV posted 2016 Aug 9 (Story)
The US delivered 50 armored vehicles, 40 artillery pieces, and 50 grenade launchers to the Lebanese army as part of an aid package of $220 million this year. It is said to be intended to bolster Lebanon against a threat from militant groups on its border with Syria. [However, if events unfold according to previous moves of this kind, we would not be surprised if, somehow, these weapons fall into the hands of ISIS just as they did in Syria and Afghanistan. Terrorist organizations could not survive without ‘mistakes and blunders’ of this kind. Without terrorist organizations, the US military would have no excuse to be in the Middle East.] Alarabiya 2016 Aug 9 (Story) (Cached)
