Google used a bait-and-switch scheme to attract pro-ISIS jihadis online and then direct them to an anti-ISIS video. This re-direct worked so well that Google now wants to use the same technique to manipulate web searches by what it describes as “violent” right wingers. Violent left wingers and those promoting riots and police killings are not to be included. Just right-wingers. Who are they? Whoever Google says they are. [The real question here is not if Google is doing a good thing but if it should be allowed to manipulate the attitudes of those who seek information on the Internet. Since when is a private company (or any other entity, including government) to be trusted with manipulating the flow of information? Once that power is condoned, eventually it will be abused.] RT 2016 Sep 14 (Story)
