Pentagon officials, Ash Carter and General Joseph Dunford, testified before the US Senate that they “had no facts” to support their claim that Russia attacked the humanitarian-aid convoy in Aleppo that ended the ceasefire. They also said that a no-fly zone should be established over Syria for everyone except US and allied forces. They agreed that a no-fly zone would require war against Syria and Russia to enforce. Denmark: Researchers have identified a new strain of the superbug known as MRSA that they believe can be spread through eating contaminated poultry. Those who raise livestock have a higher risk for MRSA, but the new strain infected ten urban-dwellers who had no contact with live farm animals. The likely source of MRSA is animals raised on low-dose antibiotics used to minimize disease in crowded and filthy conditions. UPI 2016 Sep 23 (Story) (Cached)

Yahoo announced that 500 million of its users’ accounts have been hacked in the largest data breach ever. The hacked data may include names, email addresses, telephone numbers, birthdates, and encrypted passwords. Yahoo says that payment data, bank-account information, and unprotected passwords were not stolen. Falling in step with the recent claim by the Democrat Party that its emails may have been hacked by Putin, Yahoo blames this new hack on a “state-sponsored actor”. [It is our suspicion that, when hacks occur at large organizations with high-tech computer-security systems, the managers of those systems might prefer to blame it on a “state-sponsored actor” and, thereby, assume the role of victim rather than appear incompetent. Just a thought.] ZeroHedge 2016 Sep 22 (Story) (Cached)

An Israeli court released a 13-year old Palestinian girl who had been shot in the leg by Israeli forces. She was unarmed at the time of the shooting, which occurred at a traffic stop. The Court determined that she was not trying to carry out a stabbing attack, as was claimed by the Israeli military. Seven Palestinians, including two minors, have been shot and killed in the last few days. UN investigators report that, since the unrest started a year ago, there has been a pattern of killing Palestinians who did not present an imminent threat. Maan News 2016 Sep 22 (Story) (Cached)

Ahmad Khan Rahami, an Afghan-born US citizen, was arrested on charges of terrorism in several bombing incidents. The first was a pipe bomb that blew up in Seaside Park, New Jersey, but didn’t injure anyone. Later that night, a shrapnel-packed pressure-cooker bomb exploded in New York, injuring 31 people, none seriously. An unexploded pressure-cooker bomb was found blocks away with Rahami’s fingerprints on it, and his image was captured by a nearby surveillance camera. Rahami’s father called the FBI in 2014 to report that his son “was doing real bad,” as he had stabbed his brother and hit his mother. The FBI cleared Rahami from a terror investigation after two months. [See commentary on this event in the Analysis section.] Chicago Tribune 2016 Sep 20 (Story) (Cached)

Syria: Less than two weeks after a ceasefire was announced by the US and Russia, the agreement was broken. The US failed to keep its pledge to force a separation between its “moderate” rebels and al-Qaeda and ISIS groups. A US strike on Syrian forces killed as many as 80 soldiers and, just before the US and Russia were to launch coordinated strikes against ISIS, a convoy of trucks with humanitarian supplies was attacked instead. The US blamed Russia without offering evidence, but ISIS (which is covertly supported by the US) was the sole beneficiary of the attack. RPI 2016 Sep 20 (Story)

Obama announced that 50 companies, mostly with close connections to the government like G2oogle and Goldman Sachs, have pledged $650 million to educate and resettle refugees. [It is not clear what ‘educate’ means in this context but, judging by the violence and cultural chaos flowing from the recent immigration programs in Europe, we sure know what ‘resettle’ means.] Daily Caller 2016 Sep 20 (Story) (Cached)

The Chinese government’s organ-harvesting business is thriving, as thousands of political and religious prisoners are slaughtered each year in prison hospitals. Their organs are sold to wealthy clients around the world. Human-rights lawyer, David Matas, says that, although the government claims 10,000 transplants are performed per year, the real number 60,000 to 100,000. New York Post 2016 Sep 20 (Story) (Cached)

Last month, a large cache of US weapons was found in a home used by the newly re-branded Jabhat Fateh al-Sham, a terrorist group formerly known as an al-Nusra Front group. Here is a list of numerous instances over the past year of US weapons winding up in the hands of terrorists affiliated with al-Qaeda and ISIS. [Can these all be mistakes?] Sputnik News posted 2016 Sep 20 (Story) (Cached)

US: Senator Rand Paul has introduced a resolution to block a $1.15 billion arms sale to Saudi Arabia, because the Saudis are the “frenemy” of America. That means they sometimes are a friend and sometimes an enemy. Under Obama’s watch, the Saudis have purchased $100 billion in US weapons, and that has led to opposing groups in the Middle East fighting each other with weapons made in the US. A report from the US Inspector General reveals that 858 illegal aliens from ‘countries of concern’ who were scheduled to be deported, instead, were granted US citizenship. The official explanation for this is that it was an error based on the fact that the Department of Homeland Security did not have the aliens’ fingerprints on file. The Inspector General also found fingerprints missing from federal databases for 315,000 immigrants with final deportation orders or who are fugitive criminals. [It is apparent that powerful groups within the government want to make it difficult if not impossible to remove illegal aliens from the country. Cultural dilution, internal conflict, and easily manipulated voters are the goal.] Fox News 2016 Sep 19 (Story) (Cached)

According to the Washington Post, Saudi Arabia is using white phosphorus supplied by the US as a personnel weapon. By international agreement, white phosphorus is supposed to be used only for signaling and smoke-screen purposes because it can burn flesh to the bone. ZeroHedge 2016 Sep 19 (Story) (Cached)

US: The former Maryland Lieutenant Governor (who is the daughter of the late Robert F. Kennedy) says that former Republican President George HW Bush, Senior, told her that he plans to vote for Democrat Hillary Clinton. [No surprises there. There is no significant conflict between the old-guard leaders of both major political parties in America. Trump is an outsider.] Politico 2016 Sep 19 (Story) (Cached)

St Cloud, Minnesota: A man wearing a security uniform ran through a shopping mall, slashing people with a knife, injuring eight. Newspapers reported that the attacker was from Somalia. ISIS claimed that the attacker was a soldier of Islam and took responsibility for inspiring the attack. The man had three previous encounters with police. Jason Falconer, an off-duty police officer, shot and killed the attacker. CNN 2016 Sep 18 (Story) (Cached)

Sergeant Demetrick Pennie of the Dallas Police Department was the target of a sniper attack in which five officers were killed. He has joined with Larry Klayman, the founder of Judicial Watch, in suing Black Lives Matter, George Soros, Obama, Hillary Clinton, Al Sharpton, and Louis Farrahkan for inciting people to violence by telling them they are under attack by the police.
