SOME CRITICS ARE GOOD FOR BUSINESS

This topic can be confusing if you don’t know how it started. Therefore, I have pulled together the full discussion thread starting from the beginning. If you have already seen the earlier exchange, just skip the following link and pick it up with WHERE IS THE MEDICAL FRAUD?

To start from the beginning, read the message from Mr. Casey in the Forum section of the Sept. 9 issue of Need to Know news.

What bothers me about your participation in promoting proprietary concoctions with unknown mechanisms of actions is that you are making money on these concepts without one scintilla of scientific evidence that it works. Just because you have every reason to believe this product works well for most people you still don’t give any reasons why you believe this to be true, cite any numbers regarding your believe, you just stand on testimonials which you can get on most any product. [That statement is not true. All of our health-related product pages are loaded with scientific reasons, reports, and even quite a few numbers. Apparently Mr. Casey has not taken the time to examine those pages on our web site. GEG.]

True, it helps to know who your researchers were, the schools behind the studies, and to look @ metaanalysis studies and use your brain for discernment. Not all scientific studies are skewed as you allude too by big pharma.

On the other hand , you present absolutely nothing to guide prudent judgement on, just the fact that you feel good about your reasons on a product that you make money on and readily admit it! The fact that they have no side effects is a back doors approach that means nothing about whether the product really works.

Please explain to your readers why someone shouldn’t be suspicious of someone who is profiting off of desperate people with no more proof of action than you have presented in your promotional ad?

Hello Rick.
I see that you are stuck on the false premise that testimonials are not reliable evidence of efficacy and that so-called scientific studies are. However, the thrust of your objection to our offering health-related products through Reality Zone is expressed in your last sentence: “Please explain to your readers why someone shouldn’t be suspicious of someone who is profiting off of desperate people with no more proof of action than you have presented in your promotional ad?”

In summary, you are indignant over profiting from desperate people by offering a therapy with no proof of effective action. Since you claim that there is “no proof”, that means you do not consider individual case histories, even when there are hundreds or thousands of them, to be “proof”.

OK. In the interest of time, I’ll let that pass without comment, but when is the last time you sent an equally indignant letter to establishment medical services about profiting from desperate people by offering them chemotherapy, radiation, vaccines, and thousands of toxic concoctions called drugs with no more proof of effective action than presented in promotional ads in medical journals – paid for by the producers and distributors of those nostrums? As you surely are aware, in almost all of those categories, the failure rate is abysmally high.

Why have you not directed some of your indignation to this huge sector of fraud and genocide? Why are you so singularly suspicious of non-toxic substances that cannot be patented, substances that have little or no negative side effects, and substances that have legions of very happy people anxious to tell the world about how much better they are after using them?

If it’s fraud and profiteering you are anxious to expose, I suggest you spend more time at your neighborhood pharmacy and local hospital.

You did not carefully read my response where I qualified what scientific studies could be reliable. Also metaanalysis studies combining large numbers of patients (1000’s) by different investigators are certainly more reliable as they come from multiple schools and researchers not sponsored by the same Big Pharma.

Whether I send an equally indignant letter to oncologists, or big pharma companies has nothing to do with whether your actions are ethical or not, and you are supposed to set yourself to a higher standard than they do or are you joining the ranks of charlatans who hoodwink the public by proclaiming great benefit yet hiding the ingredients and basing all your success on uncontrolled testimonials? You could do a study yourself by giving placebo meds to people and not charging and seeing if your product vs. placebo had different testimonials.

You are kind of presenting this like a religious belief in which 100’s of people agree with you and 100’s don’t. But you feel reasonable good that you are correct because 100 people agree with you. That’s not science, that’s greed and you can’t be lending your sponsorship without any more evidence than you have given.

In medical journals you allude to they always say ask your Dr. if this is right for you as he is supposed to have a knowledgeable and discriminating mind. Some are better than others and that’s where your discriminating mind should come into play. There’s a sucker on every corner and you hope your second professional opinion will help you reason through the various choices.

As a matter of fact, I have challenged the conventional medical community on some chemotherapy, radiation, and vaccines but that still doesn’t make your endorsement right. I couldn’t care less whether something is patented or not, You just need to stick to the facts you know best like the Federal Reserve as you really don’t have the time to do medical research.

As for the last comment you make, are you really saying the hospital and local neighborhood pharmacy are a fraud? Do you ever purchase anything from a pharmacy and have you ever received care in a hospital? Those broadsweeping statements you make could come back to haunt you really soon.

I think it was probably good that you decided not to publish my retorts to you as your sales would have probably fallen. It’s good for you to be challenged on a public venue occasionally but not really fair to respond and not publish it as you can control the tempo. The power of the press is great but the power of regulating the press is kind of like a controlled study sponsored by big Pharma.

You don’t get it, do you Rick? First of all, if you had actually studied the information on our product pages, you would know that we are heavily backed by scientific research. You raise a straw-man argument when you accuse me of endorsing products with no “scientific” evidence of effectiveness. However, to answer your accusation line-by-line likely would be a waste of time for both of us because you have made up your mind that only studies conducted within the hallowed hall of allopathic medicine are worth considering.

The real irony in your reply is that you actually think I am overpowered by your “retorts” as you call them. What you fail to perceive is that, every time someone like you attacks me (or anyone else in the non-drug therapy camp) for not worshiping at the altar of orthodox medicine, it angers the overwhelming majority of our readers and triggers a wave of additional support for what we are doing. In other words, your myopia to the vast and almost universal corruption in the drug-based health-care system is actually good for our business.

The reason I decided not to publish your last letter is that it was too long to hold anyone’s attention and it offered nothing new to the discussion. There was not much more I could say in response except to repeat my basic position as you did – which is not very intellectually stimulating and a terrible waste of time. I was prepared to let the issue fade.

However, now that you apparently think that the repetition of your basic argument has made me afraid to let others read your masterpiece, I will publish it in full. As I said before, your “retorts” are actually good for our business, and I suppose it would be foolish not to take advantage of your assistance. Thank you.

PS. Unless you have something new to offer in this discussion, please do not waste your time with yet one more insult to my character. Further accusations that I am driven by greed with no genuine interest in the health of my friends and supporters will not be acknowledged.

THE MOST EVIL MAN ON EARTH

Mr. Griffin, We all know that it is George Soros and friends that are destroying this country. He tried it in other nations, but they were a lot wiser than the USA and kicked him out before he could ruin their country. He is on the way to victory in the USA, and it behooves me that the intelligence of this country are letting Georgie boy have his way…..What can we do about this? How can we get the most evil man on earth out of our domain….and banned from investing or using this country in any manner, shape or form? Are we Americans supposed to sit back and watch our demise take place? Are we that helpless? George Soros has been at work behind the scenes for years and the country is blind to his dangerous shenanigans.

TOXIC RAIN IN TEXAS?

Mr Griffin,
My wife and I live 100 miles NW of Del Rio, Texas, 16 miles N of the Rio Grande. So this area is known to be open and dry. We have watched the “lines in the sky” for several years, now. But what happened last week is something new, here at least.

We received 4 1/2″ of rain in 3 days, finally. But what happened to our apple trees is new: the leaves all curled up and turned brown inside of one day after the rain.

We have eight different apple types so not all are affected the same by diseases/insects. One tree is totally dead and all seven others are starting to drop the dead leaves and sprout new ones. Very strange. Same thing in our outside garden. We now have bunches of dead plants of all types.

Very strange, indeed. Is it realistic for you to have the dead leaves and perhaps some of the dying ones chemically analyzed? If so, that could be very enlightening.

How do you know that the information about Duterte is true? It comes from the same government that is angry with Duterte for his action against drug people? So now you trust what this guy is saying to a panel? Hmmmmm.

Hello Damien.
You have raised a good point. We always face this issue when we find adverse information about political figures who have enemies – no matter which side they are on. We try not to jump to conclusions, but events keep moving forward, and we have to make decisions based on our best judgment or just forget trying to report any news at all.

Our best judgment is affected by the answers to two questions: (1) Does the news item seem consistent with what we know to be true? And (2) Is there information from credible sources that contradicts the news item? If the answers are yes to the first question and no to the second, generally we feel that the item is worth reporting.

Our track record has been amazingly good following this formula. I can recall only two times in all the years of reporting the news that we have had to issue a retraction. I hope you agree that we are following the right policy. Thanks for writing.

First let me applaud you for your comments about your own health experience. Obviously, doctors don’t approve of this because we are not “professionals” but we have found such discussion very informative. Thank you!

Also, I have found that all the medications for diabetes are poison, destroying your pancreas bit by bit. Victoza? Outrageously expensive and pure poison to your pancreas. (My personal experience.) There are already a number of lawsuits against Victoza which is probably why it is so expensive. If you need to take anything, take insulin. Time tested by many people for many decades. It is normal to your body and does not attack the pancreas.

Another miracle supplement is thyroid supplemen-tation. Is has been my wife’s and my observation that doctors do not like to prescribe help for your thyroid because it makes you too healthy and you do not return to doctors. Upon seeing how my wife’s (68yr) health was deteriorating similar to my former experience, she requested thyroid supplementation because she took my “Nature-Throid” and found it indispensable, affecting in a very beneficial way, her whole body!

She requested thyroid medication from two doctors and was told she did not need it by her regular doctor and was “ordered out of the office” in the second case. She went to my alternative care NP and got the prescription, and all has gone very well since. Nature-Throid costs as low as 22 cents a day!

Note: I guess the AMA finally realized that Nature-Throid is a very good medication because they recently stopped the NP from dispensing it in her office.

DOG-AND-PONY SHOW CALLED POLITICS

Dave sent a long and well reasoned letter in support of the idea that governments are rotten to the core, and that the dog-and-pony show called politics serves only to provide the illusion that we are participating in our own political destiny. Then he raised the question: why waste our time following political issues or seeking to affect election outcomes?

Dave said: “Our efforts would be much better spent on educating the general public into their correct standing and responsibilities and start operating our abandoned government from so many years ago.”

REPLY FROM GEG:
Dave, I agree that this is what we should do, but I feel that it is not an “either-or” choice suggested by your statement that our efforts would be “better spent ….” There is a third choice in which we educate the people, yes, but not on all issues at once. We cannot expect them to reject the myth of democracy in their first lesson. We must take it one step at a time, and we must make friends along the way, not enemies.

We cannot educate the public unless the public is willing to listen to us. The quickest way to alienate ourselves from those we seek to educate is to back up the truck, pull the lever, and bury them in facts they are not yet prepared to accept. Telling people they are ignorant and stupid is not a good way to win friends.

To educate people, we must go to where they are, not where we think they should be. They are not in ivory towers. We will find them attending the dog-and-pony show, so that is where we must toil.
