Philippines: Using Hitler as a praiseworthy example, President Duterte says he would be happy to slaughter three-million drug addicts to save the future of his country. [This is the mantra of all collectivists: They justify any atrocity imaginable in the name of the greater good for the greater number.] RT 2016 Sep 30 (Story)
John Kirby, spokesperson for the US State Department, made veiled threats against Russia. He said that, if Putin does not stop military attacks against ISIS terrorists in Aleppo, which are supported by the US, terrorists will launch attacks in Russian cities, and Russian soldiers will be sent home in body bags. US: Congress overrides Obama’s veto of a bill letting families of 9/11 victims sue Saudi Arabia. Obama said it would open the door for retaliatory litigation against the US, but proponents of the bill said it was narrowly tailored so it only applies to governments that sponsor terror attacks on US soil. [In other words, since there is no way that it could be proved that Saudi Arabia actually sponsored the 9/11 attack, this bill has no teeth for what people were told it was intended to bite. Politics as usual.] Guardian 2016 Sep 29 (Story) (Cached)
Russia has rejected the findings of international investigators of the downing of Malaysian passenger jet MH17. The investigators claim that a Russian-made missile was launched from a pro-Russian separatist area in Ukraine in 2014. Russia says the conclusion of the investigation is politically motivated, and that Ukraine directed the investigation in its favor. Reuters 2016 Sep 28 (Story)
San Diego, California: An unarmed black man who had been acting erratic in traffic was shot to death by police after he reached into his pants and then took an aggressive shooting stance, leading police to believe he was armed. CNN 2016 Sep 28 (Story)
Deutsche Bank dropped over 7% in book value and dragged other highly leveraged and interconnected banks with it. Bank of America, Morgan Stanley, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, and JPMorgan Chase each lost more than 2% in value. But the real losses could be much greater. In 2014, Citigroup sponsored an amendment to a Congressional spending bill that allows banks to keep trillions of derivatives on their books as insured deposits, which they are not. That put the U.S. taxpayer back on the hook for another massive bailout [or bailin] the next time banks collectively fail. That date appears to be rapidly approaching. US: Jimmy Kimmel sends a reporter out on the streets to get the opinions of average Americans about the performance of Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. As you will see, they had strong opinions. The only problem is that these interviews were conducted before the debate had happened. The Week 2016 Sep 27 (Story)
Sixteen top officials from Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman’s party are to be charged in one of the largest corruption investigations in Israel’s history. Israeli police arrested 35 political activists and members of the Palestinian Arab Balad political party in the Israeli parliament on allegations of money laundering. The Israeli government is keeping details of its allegations secret from the public and even from those arrested. The Balad party says the investigations are an effort to intimidate and de-legitimize Arab political activism. Aljazeera 2016 Sep 27 (Story) (Cached)
The UN World Health Organization says that 92% of the world is breathing polluted air that causes 6.5 million deaths per year. The health hazard comes primarily from particulate matter suspended in the air. It’s called smoke, and it has little to do with CO2 or global warming. Nevertheless, see how smoothly this report glides from the millions of deaths caused by inhaling smoke to the need for the UN to curb climate change. Propaganda like this is highly effective against an unsuspecting public. France24 2016 Sep 27 (Story)

Obama says he has “ratified” the Paris Climate Accord (which is a treaty) and neither the US Senate (which is the only political entity that has the constitutional power to ratify a treaty) nor the media have called attention to the impossibility of his claim. Donald Trump believes global warming is a hoax and has said that he would cancel the Paris accord if he is elected. The Verge 2016 Sep 27 (Story) (Cached)
New York: Here is the full debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. The moderator, Lester Holt, kept Trump on the defensive with questions aligned with DNC talking points: Trump’s tax return, Russia, bankruptcy, sexism, racism, Obama’s birth certificate, etc. As expected, Trump got stuck trying to explain detailed issues while Hillary appeared proficient and skilled at covering up her record in office, and she displayed no evidence of health problems during the 90-minute ordeal. [It is hard to become enthusiastic over the idea that one of these candidates will become President of the United States.] NBC Network 2016 Sep 26 (Story)
Religious Jews appeared outside the presidential debate to deliver a statement to the candidates and to the American people. That statement is that there is a difference between the Jewish religion called Judaism and the political movement called Zionism, which is manifested as the state of Israel. Rabbi Weiss, who is the spokesman for the assembled group, says that many religious Jews are opposed to the policies of the Zionist state, especially the occupation of Palestine. He urges the candidates to stand up against the Israeli government and not be afraid of being falsely labeled as anti-Semitic by AIPAC, the Israeli lobby in the U.S. InfoWars 2016 Sep 26 (Story)

New documents from the FBI show that Obama used a pseudonym when communicating by email with then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. At least one of those emails ended up on Clinton’s private email server. This indicates that Obama lied when he said he knew nothing about Clinton’s private email server. The FBI released the documents on a Friday, a strategy often used to decrease exposure in the news cycle. Daily Caller posted 2016 Sep 24 (Story) (Cached)
Farmers in India’s poorest region, Bihar, now are producing record rice yields through organic farming, proving once again that GMOs are not necessary to feed the world’s hungry. These bumper crops are due to a new organic method of farming that uses continuously moist soil instead of traditional flooding of the fields. True Activist posted 2016 Sep 24 (Story) (Cached)
