A CASE FOR GOVERNMENT-ISSUED FIAT MONEY?

Dear Ed,
I am still open to government-issued fiat money [as opposed to bank-issued fiat money]. Since Babylonia, when the goldsmiths, as the first bankers, started the concept, fractional reserve banking has existed in much of the civilized world and allowed the banks to suck the wealth of society through the payment of interest [on money created out of nothing]. The course of human history where gold and/or silver were used as money is one of fractional-reserve banking. How can fractional reserve banking be abolished? By outlawing it? To what degree? By whom? Who will enforce such a ban?

Hello Peymon.
As much as I am opposed to fractional-reserve banking, I do not think it should be outlawed. Instead, I think it should be disclosed. I am a firm believer in the free market. I think banks should not be prohibited from offering fractional-reserve services if they wish, provided they fully disclose this to their customers and provided the government hasn’t given them a monopoly to issue the nation’s money. Most people would want no part of it if they knew.

On the other hand, there are cases in which some may actually prefer to put part of their savings into fractional-reserve accounts, and who are we to prevent them from doing so if they are fully informed? These accounts would not be as liquid or secure as fully backed, demand-deposit accounts and, therefore, would have to pay higher rates of return. It would be like investing in lower-rated bonds because they offer higher yields in return for higher risk. So I say, let the free market decide so long as everything is honestly stated and no one is deceived.

Under such a system, fractional-reserve banknotes would circulate as money, would be discounted compared to full-reserve currency, and would fill a niche for high-risk and high-yield ventures. We do not need the state telling us what we can and cannot invest in or what to use as a medium of exchange. What we need is the state insuring that everyone makes full disclosure, avoids deception, honors contracts, and doesn’t receive political favoritisms to gain advantage over competitors.

DO YOU STILL LIKE BITCOIN?

Dear Mr. Griffin,
thank you for research over the years on various issues. I appreciated it. I recently saw you on Youtube, talking with Trace Mayer and Max Wright about how much you like Bitcoin. But there is an article on Bitcoin written by Mike Adams. The article is critical of Bitcoin as a Ponze scheme. So, if you haven't read the article, would you? After reading it or if you already read it, do you still like Bitcoin?

REPLY FROM GEG:
Yes, I still like Bitcoin, but I explained in the program that it is because Bitcoin has a limited supply and, therefore, should be inflation proof, and also because it is not a political creation. However, I also pointed out a few of its weaknesses. I advised caution, because Bitcoin is missing an important ingredient of sound money: It has no intrinsic value. It is vaporware, it has no use for anything except money, it has no physical property and, thus, cannot be reliably counted, and it can disappear into cyberspace.

I do not think it is a Ponzi scheme, but I did say that it was subject to Tulipomania. (See the index of Creature from Jekyll Island or the Internet for a definition of Tulipomania.) I also advised that no one should put all their investments in the Bitcoin basket.

Although the topic never came up in that program, I have never invested in Bitcoin and have never advised anyone to do so. I have always said that I prefer gold and silver. Thanks for sending the article.

Hi Mr. Griffin, Thank you. I'm impressed that you decided to reply to my thoughts about solar flares as a false-flag someday. I thought hard an long about what you said in regards to shoring up the grid systems. Doesn't matter one bit how well protected the world grid systems are. They could be 100 per cent perfect. Won't matter a damn. It is the quickest way to create martial law world-wide. It is the quickest way to wipe out millions of people, cheap and put the blame on God. Short circuit a few grids; the rest will blow out from overload. Lock the doors so no one can see how little damage was done. Get mass media to do the rest. 9/11 is the finest example I can give you. You an I both know steel buildings do NOT fall down from fire. Never have an never will. So again I say it doesn't matter how secure the grids are. it is the best an quickest way to reduce world population, and most people will believe it is an act of God.

I get your message, George. You are right about the possibility bordering on inevitability that the cabal will try a solar-flare false flag, but I cannot accept your fatalism. If I did, I would stop doing everything I can to awaken the sleepers and just go play with my toys for whatever time is left. But there would be no joy in that. I would rather go down swinging. George Washington faced the same futility of resistance against an unbeatable British military but decided to cross the Delaware and attack Trenton, instead. I prefer that model. Thanks for writing.

ARE THESE THE INJUSTICES IN AMERICA?

The following comments are in reply to receipt of a manuscript for a book on cancer therapy. The author requested Mr. Griffin to write an introduction if he approved of the manuscript.

REPLY BY GEG:
Hello James.
Thank you for sending this. For some reason, I either did not read the first document or I never received it. In any event, when I opened it, I was confronted by the first paragraph, which contains several statements with which I must disagree. It reads:

“We are all aware of numerous injustices in American society such as refusal by Congress to pass an immigration bill; equal pay for equal work for women; refusal by the NRA to allow background checks to reduce mass killing of innocent children; the millionaires and billionaires refusing to pay their fair share of tax but would rather take it from the poor etc. Everyone watching the news is ith all these.”

My own view is that there certainly are injustices in America, but the ones mentioned are not among them. For example, it’s not that Congress refuses to pass an immigration bill, it’s that the Administration ref uses to enforce the one that already exists – and Congress does nothing about it.

It’s not that the NRA will not allow a background check to reduce mass killings of innocent children. It’s that background checks, gun registration, and gun confiscation have no effect on school shootings or other crimes committed with guns. The historical record proves that beyond question. The primary cause of school shootings is young people driven by homicidal urges from psychoactive drugs pushed on them by the pharmaceutical and psychiatric industries in the name of treating alleged mental conditions. Almost every shooter in these cases was known to be on some kind of psychoactive drug. Mass killings in modern totalitarian systems always have been preceded by confiscation of privately held firearms – for obvious reasons. It had nothing to do with preventing crime and everything to do with preventing resistance. Those massacres included, not just a dozen or so children, but tens of millions of civilians of all ages.

It’s not that millionaires and billionaires don’t pay their fair share of the tax. It’s that taxes are too high in the first place and that the concept of “fair” has come to mean coercive redistribution of wealth to satisfy the political theories of social engineers and politicians. In the end, those at the bottom of the economic totem pole get a free ride, become entitlement minded, and lose incentive to produce. Those at the top of the pole receive tax breaks galore because they have political clout with the social engineers who write the laws. Those in the middle class who have to pay for everything become squeezed out of existence so, eventually, there are only two classes: The royal elite and the worker serfs who obey their masters in return for subsistence and security. THOSE are the injustices in America.

Since my views on these things are so different from those expressed in the opening paragraph of your book, I would not feel comfortable adding my endorsement to this otherwise admirable work. Thank you for sending this and thanks for taking on this important task relating to cancer therapy.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I STOP TAKING

Do you have to continually take ProArgi-9+ to maintain a normal blood pressure? It is quite expensive, and I can't afford to buy it especially if you have to continue to take it for ever. Can you get the answer for me?

Hello Candy.

I believe that I can answer your question, but it is not the one you are hoping for.

ProArgi-9+ works in two ways: (1) it contains substances that help to reduce plaque buildup in arteries and (2) its primary action is to stimulate the body's production of nitric oxide, which causes artery walls to relax and become more flexible. It is the combined action of these substances that produce the desired effect.

That being the case, if one stops taking the product, two things will happen. First, any plaque that previously was removed probably will slowly begin to reappear and, over a period of time (perhaps 4 to 6 months) will be back to where it was in the beginning. The second action will be the immediate loss of the nitric-oxide effect, which means that artery flexibility will be reduced possibly within a few days.

In other words, we are fighting ageing effects. The body never stops that process, so we are obligated to keep fighting back.

I just wanted to say, has it not occurred to you that the so-called arctic vortex, is actually a result of experimental spraying? Here in WI we are 30 degrees below normal. This pattern has emerged, here and in the EU, after spraying. Have they overdone this?

There are issues- who is doing this? Are they liable for effects caused by their spraying? I became seriously concerned when Hayhoe from Texas began writing a column published in many newspapers claiming soils were going to dry up, and I thought, who is going to pay if someone should take this Hayhoe's bogus advice? She was a member of the original IPCC.
