How come we hear everything that happens in Egypt but no news about what’s happening in Iceland? In Iceland, the people have made the government resign, the primary banks have been nationalized, it was decided to not pay the debt that these created with Great Britain and Holland due to their bad financial politics and a public assembly has been created to rewrite the constitution. And all of this in a peaceful way. A whole revolution against the powers that have created the current global crisis. This is why there hasn’t been any publicity during the last two years: What would happen if the rest of the EU citizens took this as an example? What would happen if the US citizens took this as an example.

Have we been informed of this through the media? Has any political program in radio or TV commented on this? No! The Icelandic people have been able to show that there is a way to beat the system and has given a democracy lesson to the world.

I am doing flyers, prepping a facebook page and twitter account. want to get the ball rolling before the election starts and garner public support for a public audit of the FED Reserve and to force congress to ammend the federal reserve act and place the FED under direct presidential control. the goal is to shift the occupy wall street and tea party support to refom of the federal reserve. commercial and private banking regs are killing the economy and the lack of qualified employees are not helping the creation of jobs....what good is a new business doing anything if i cant find qualified personnel to run it? opinions?

NO PASSPORTS FOR TAX DELINQUENCY

Dear Ed,
Thanks for another informative e-news. You sure do give us food for thought! I offer this comment from personal knowledge in IRS legal battles. It regards your article: "US: Newly proposed transportation bill would revoke passports of individuals who the IRS suspects of owing $50,000 or more in taxes."

1. $50k is a drop in the bucket, when you consider how easily the IRS falsely creates charges out of thin air, followed by heaps upon heaps of falsely-charged penalties and interest.

2. A "2-income household" that "files jointly" can easily rack up a $100k "tax liability" in ONE YEAR, even IF they don't "gross" $100k between the 2 of them.

3. From a common sense, "layman's" perspective, the proposed law erects prison bars around the borders of our nation, to KEEP THE SHEEPLE IN THE PEN ... to be "sheared and barbecued" at will (effectively converting the entire nation a "debtor's prison").

4. Federal tax debt is not related to our LIBERTY or rights, so how can restricting our travel rights (NOT "privileges") relate to a delinquent debt as a "punishment that fits the crime" (Note: Delinquency on a debt contract is a civil, not criminal, matter. It's not a 'crime' to be in debt.)

Rule of thumb": If I don't have authority to do it, NEITHER DOES THE "public servant", b/c he "derives his just powers from the consent of the governed". Therefore, I don't need ANYBODY, under ANY PRETENSE, to suspend (i.e., use VIOLENCE ON ME) my liberty to travel if I don't pay some income-tax EXTORTION.
