CAN GOVERNMENTS COMMIT CRIMES? YOU BET!

Either the people control the government or the government controls the people. Either we have rights granted to us by our Creator or we have privileges granted to us by our government. In a dictatorship the leaders seek to control the people, while in a Republic, it is the responsibility of the people to control the government.

As the creators of the government, we the people can only grant powers to our government, that we already possess. We do not have the authority to take another man's life, liberty or property, so we cannot delegate this power to our government. When a government possesses the power to do things that individuals are prevented from doing, that government is operating outside of its lawful authority.

When a person takes property that belongs to his neighbor and then gives it to someone else, he has committed a crime. When the government uses the color of law to take the property on one individual to give to another they too, have committed a crime.

When we were granted the unalienable rights from our Creator we were also given the responsibility to honor the life, liberty and property of our fellow men. A crime occurs when one person or group initiates force to take the life, liberty or property of another.

It is the responsibility of a referee in a football game to make sure that the players abide by the rules of the game. Our government should be there to makes sure that no individual or group will violate our life, liberty or property.

The idea that initiating force against someone that you think might seek to injury you is not a defensive act. It is clearly an act of aggression and is not permitted in the Constitution.

Has America become the land of the special interest and home of the double standard?

Let’s see, if we lie to the Congress it’s a felony, and if the Congress lies to us it’s just politics; if we dislike a black person we’re racist, and if blacks dislike other races, it’s their First Amendment right; the government spends millions to rehabilitate criminals and they do almost nothing for the victims; in public schools you can teach that homosexuality is OK but you better not use the word God in the process; you can kill an unborn child, but it is wrong to execute a mass murderer; we don’t burn books in America, we now rewrite them; we got rid of the threat from communists and socialists by renaming them progressives; we are unable to close our border with Mexico, but have no problem protecting the 38th parallel in Korea; if you protest against president Obama’s policies you’re a terrorist, but if you burned an American flag, it’s your first-Amendment right.

You can have pornography on your TV or internet, but you better not have a Nativity Scene in a public park during Christmas; we have eliminated all criminals in America, they are now called sick people; we can use a human fetus for medical research, but it’s wrong to use an animal.

We take money from those who work hard for it and give it to those who do not want to work; we all support the Constitution but only when it supports our political ideology; we still have freedom of speech, but only if we are being politically correct; parenting has been replaced with Ritalin and video games; the land of opportunity is now the land of handouts; the similarity between Hurricane Katrina and the Gulf oil spill is neither President did anything to help.

And how do we handle a major crisis today? The government appoints a committee to determine who’s at fault, then threatens them, passes another law, raises our taxes; tells us the problem is solved.

What has happened to the land of the free and home of the brave?

Thanks, Ed. Great as usual. The video on the Americans is not just “too bad” or “sad”, it is a major factor in what makes our job of saving this country and civilization so difficult. How can you rapidly bring such people up to speed? We need a Constitution, NWO & International Bankers Primer and edited so it reaches those of an 8th grade education and vocabulary – and leave the reader/viewer no doubt that we need to restore our Constitution and disconnect from the Fed and all Central Banking. I suppose we would have to address the CFR and convince everyone that the only truly wasted vote is for any Democrat or Republican who is not a proven Constitutionalist as evidenced by voting record.

A NEW CHRISTMAS TRADITION?

As the holidays approach, the giant Asian factories are kicking into high gear to provide Americans with monstrous piles of cheaply produced goods -- merchandise that has been produced at the expense of American labor. This year will be different. This year Americans will give the gift of genuine concern for other Americans. There is no longer an excuse that, at gift giving time, nothing can be found that is produced by American hands. Yes there is!

It's time to think outside the box, people. Who says a gift needs to fit in a shirt box, wrapped in Chinese produced wrapping paper? Everyone -- yes EVERYONE gets their hair cut. How about gift certificates from your local American hair salon or barber? Gym membership? It's appropriate for all ages who are thinking about some health improvement. Who wouldn't appreciate getting their car detailed? Small, American owned detail shops and car washes would love to sell you a gift certificate or a book of gift certificates.

Are you one of those extravagant givers who think nothing of plonking down the Benjamines on a Chinese made flat-screen? Perhaps that grateful gift receiver would like his driveway sealed, or lawn mowed for the summer, or driveway plowed all winter, or games at the local golf course. There are a bazillion owner-run restaurants -- all offering gift certificates. And, if your intended isn't the fancy eatery sort, what about a half dozen breakfasts at the local breakfast joint. Remember, folks this isn't about big National chains -- this is about supporting your home town Americans with their financial lives on the line to keep their doors open.

How many people couldn't use an oil change for their car, truck or motorcycle, done at a shop run by the American working guy? Thinking about a heartfelt gift for mom? Mom would LOVE the services of a local cleaning lady for a day. My computer could use a tune-up, and I KNOW I can find some young guy who is struggling to get his repair business up and running.

OK, you were looking for something more personal. Local crafts people spin their own wool and knit them into scarves. They make jewelry, and pottery and beautiful wooden boxes. Plan your holiday outings at local, owner operated restaurants and leave your server a nice tip. And, how about going out to see a play or ballet at your hometown theatre. Musicians need love too, so find a venue showcasing local bands.

Honestly, people, do you REALLY need to buy another ten-thousand Chinese lights for the house? When you buy a five dollar string of light, about fifty cents stays in the community. You see, Christmas is no longer about draining American pockets so that China can build another glittering city. Christmas is now about caring about US, encouraging American small businesses to keep plugging away to follow their dreams. And, when we care about other Americans, we care about our communities, and the benefits come back to us in ways we couldn't imagine. Let THIS become the new American Christmas tradition.
