9/11 QUESTION: ABOUT THOSE STEEL FRAMES

Mr. griffin:
In your analysis of the fires at the WTC, you cited the three steel frame buildings in L.A., Philadelphia, and Caracas that did not collapse, and I have also read about a fourth building in Spain. Did any of these building have 32 floors of weight above the fire impacted floors? I am sure that weight above the impacted steel frame would be a very significant factor in a collapse. I have not read where you or any others that have addressed this issue. I don't think the government's 9-11 conspiracy is correct, but this "weight" omission has bothered me.

Dear Ed,
Pursuant to your article, THE US GOVERNMENT DID NOT FAIL ITS MISSION IN THE WAKE OF HURRICANE KATRINA, I would like to comment: Frederick Bastiat defines government as "the collective organization of the individual right to self-defense". Therefore, government has no business 'helping' people, since 'helping people' does not comport with it's chartered purpose. In a nutshell: "To a hammer, everything is a nail."

If government confined itself to its proper PASSIVE sphere of operations (i.e, ONLY when when it's called upon to dispense justice and enforce rights and damages), we would not have the problems we do today. I recommend reading George Washington's farewell address, available here. Mr. Washington said enough to keep America busy doing 'clean-up' for the next 200 years at least. Thanks for the informative news feeds.
