"SCIENTIFIC" TESTING OF LAETRILE

Dear Ed, I want to tell you a little story. Your book, World without Cancer, was published 37 years ago. I suspect I read it when it was just out.

I'm 65 now and when I was 35ish - around 30 years ago - I met an oncologist who was doing cancer research in SF at the UC Med Ctr. He and I became friends and we were walking on the beach when I asked him, "Please tell me about your research." He began to explain in layman terms, and I became quite happy and said, "That's wonderful! You're going to find it!" "How do you know?" He asked. "Because that's LAETRILE!" I said, naively.

He stopped dead in his tracks. People were walking by us and he just stood there with his mouth open, looking into the distance, saying, "They'll destroy me... They'll destroy me..." "Who will destroy you?" I asked, but couldn't get his attention... he was lost in his own little trance state. He kept saying "they'll destroy me, and I kept asking, "Who will destroy you?" It seems like it took forever before he snapped out of the trance and responded. "The AMA. The AMA will
destroy me."

He told me that he had been on the team at the NIH that had outlawed Laetrile. he told me how that came to be: There was a group of doctors sitting around a conference table, and a small bowl of powder sat in the center of the table. The head of the committee came in, licked his finger, put it in the powder (Laetrile, presumably), then put the substance on his tongue and spat it out. "That's CYANIDE!" he said.

And that, dear Ed, was the extent of the 'scientific' testing given Laetrile in the U.S. before it was outlawed. My friend the doctor changed his specialty soon after our talk. He went into a politically safer field, I presume.

Dear Mr Griffin,
I made 16 copies of the DVD of your speech in LA and sent them to all members of Congress newly elected in 2010. I don't trust any members of Congress whose tenure is 20 years or more. Our only hope lies with those elected in 2010.

I included excerpts from a few chapters of your book. I did so in an effort to nudge, push, shove or "pole vault" -- as Pelosie said -- them into reading your book and into realityzone.com. The book name, your name, chapter name, and page from which excerpts were taken began the copies. My fervent hope is that they begin to seriously do something about the Federal Reserve. In my opinion, the Fed is the root of our trouble, as well as Soros/Obama. Dumbed-down education is a very serious problem. We must get out of the UN and put it out of New York City. If things aren't remedied we face a bottomless pit of serfdom.

I feel like I am fighting WW11 all over again. It is the exact feeling I had then. I was 14 years old, a brother was 13, and three younger siblings. During the war we lived on a large farm located along the Ohio River, opposite Portsmouth-New Boston, Ohio. My brother and I worked like men along with Mom and Dad. We knew we had to win the war. Defeat was not an option.

An Army moves on its stomach. We had to feed our troops and the world. This effort was repeated on all our farms. We received little or no recognition; if so I never heard it. I always resented "Rosie the Riveter." Without our effort, Detroit's war effort would not have survived.

It was a long walk from U.S. 23, and while crawling under a fence surrounding the house, I sometimes fell asleep exhausted. Truly it was night and day work. My brother and I went to high school during this time as well.

Before midnight, Father helped guard the railroad bridge that carried all the coal from the W. VA and KY mines to Detroit. It was a vital link. Sabotage must not happen. Night and day, two men, one from KY side and one from OH side, met in the middle with orders to shoot to kill anyone approaching the bridge. It must have been difficult at night to watch for boats on the river.

I hope I haven't bored you too much and that you approve of my Fed/Congress- education efforts.

U.S. JOB CZAR CREATES JOBS IN CHINA, NOT U.S.

General Electric is planning to move its 115-year-old X-ray division from Waukesha, Wis., to Beijing. In addition to moving the headquarters, the company will invest $2 billion in China and train more than 65 engineers and create six research centers. This is the same GE that made $5.1 billion in the United States last year, but paid no taxes-the same company that employs more people overseas than it does in the United States.

So let me see if I got this straight. President Obama appointed GE Chairman Jeff Immelt to head his commission on job creation (job czar). Immelt is supposed to help create jobs. I guess the President forgot to tell him in which country he was supposed to be creating those jobs. If this doesn't show you the total lack of leadership of this President, I don't know what does.
