I am concerned about what you are doing here in light of what you have done so far and who you have associated yourself with. The reason is this. If you do this [chemtrail vs. contrail] project honestly and properly, you will come to the conclusion that the trails, short, medium length, broken, horizon to horizon, narrow, wide... are all contrails. All of them. Because that is what they are. True. You will become a skeptic again and you will have to do a massive climbdown and apologise to the debunkers and the people you misled, alike. Are you really ready to do that?

I am always prepared to acknowledge the truth, even if it means admitting I have been wrong in the past. I used to believe that the Federal Reserve was a government agency acting in my best interest. I used to believe that most politicians in high office are honorable. I used to believe everything I heard on TV news programs was true. I used to believe that the health industry was motivated primarily by a desire to cure disease. I used to believe that those with scientific degrees would never alter data in exchange for job security. I used to believe that aircraft trails are all contrails. Obviously, I am prepared to change my view if truth requires it.

Terry is right about there being no chemtrails over the San Fernando Valley for several weeks. I have been trying to track the planes that have been going by, with some difficulty getting used to the websites and the constant running in and out of doors. However, on June 3, 2011, something incredible happened. The morning started out crystal clear and then they appeared. First a few. Then as the day went on, it seemed as if the valley was being bombarded by trails non stop. Just after noon, I couldn't see the blue in the sky anymore. The morning news mentioned nothing of an incoming marine layer or cloudy conditions. This was not the usual several trails I have seen, but an all out onslaught of vapor.

I don't live far from Terry. Near the Hanson Dam area so I see the planes from Burbank and the northbound planes from LAX. This was different. It reminded me of the biplanes spraying insecticide over farmland. I guess the lull is over. So, chin up Terry. There are apparently plenty of chemtrails ahead to watch.

FURTHER CLARIFICATION ON AIRCRAFT SIGNALS

ADS-B is relatively new in aviation, lagging the in-cockpit use of GPS by several years, while transponders have been around for 40+ years. I would characterize the use of transponders and "squawk codes,"
especially in busy airspace, as nearly universal, even among the "low-and-slow" trainer fleet of little two-seaters. Ground radar sends out an interrogation, and the transponder replies, amplifying the radar signature of the individual aircraft.

ADS-B is in the adoption stage, and will someday take the place of the ubiquitous transponder interrogation/response IFF system. ADS-B is satellite-based and is not radar-dependent.

PILOT CLARIFIES AIRCRAFT TRANSPONDERS

Hi Ed,
As a licensed private pilot, I offer some clarification on the issue of aircraft transponders. Operating transponders are required to be installed on all civil aircraft, by FAR 91.215 (US Code of Federal Aviation Regulations). (Exceptions are aircraft manufactured without an electrical system (ultralights, antiques, and gliders) .) The requirements for when the transponder must be operating are complex, but basically any civil aircraft operating in any controlled airspace, in any Class A, B, or C airspace, within 30 miles of a major airport, within 10 miles of a minor airport, in or above a cloud ceiling, or above 10,000 ft., must have the transponder operating during flight.
Essentially, any civil aircraft flying near a populated area below 10,000 ft., and any civil aircraft flying above 10,000 ft., will have the transponder turned on. The transponder is the primary means for ATC radar to identify specific aircraft and verify location.

The ADS-B system is the new GPS-based system. Civil aircraft are not required to have a ADS-B transmitter, but the newer aircraft that do are still required to have an operating transponder. My guess is that most commercial airlines are installing ADS-B transmitters in all of their older planes too, but there may be some that aren't.

I'm not sure why there's the assumption that the chemtrail sprayers won't be operating a transponder. My guess is that they probably are, because it is likely that they are civil aircraft per FAR definition, and I'd wait for some data to come back that indicates otherwise.

If you're interested, I'll tell you about the day this Spring that I became convinced that the chemtrails are for real. Prior to that, the idea of government spraying toxic aerosols across the sky certainly wasn't surprising to me, but I just didn't know for sure. What I saw over the Arizona desert was so obvious that it left no doubt. I took a few photos too.

Just last weekend I ordered a t-shirt online with a saying about chemtrails. My boyfriend laughed and asked me where I planned on wearing it. My response was, "Anywhere I can". In that moment I made the decision to educate friends, neighbors, etc. about what chemtrails are and how we should be informed. FUN WATCHING THE PLANES AT LAX

Hi Ed,
Count me in as one of the data gatherers. I live in El Segundo adjacent to LAX, and having flown small single engine planes in this area many years ago I'm familiar with the routes flown by the private planes and commercial jets. When the chemtrail planes fly over El Segundo, they fly routes unlike any other I've ever seen, and the controllers at LAX must be aware of their presence. I haven't seen any in a while, but will stay on the lookout for them. When they appear, they seem to be flying between 4,000 and 6,000 feet in altitude and are readily visible.

The planefinder website is something else! I just expanded planefinder to view El Segundo and LAX in great detail, and you can clearly see all of the planes on the ground at LAX with their transponders (the data transmitters) turned on. I just followed one taking off down the runway, then I ran outside to see it in the air. What fun indeed!

I wish that enough money could be raised to be used to "scramble" a small business jet from Hawthorne or Santa Monica airport so that when one of the "chemtrailers" appears in the area, the business jet could be sent up to intercept the chemtrailer and take photographs. Planefinder would make it easy to effect the intercept------provided that the chemtrail aircraft's transponder code shows up. That's going to be interesting-for me- to find out.

One of my friends in NJ, a 48-year old male, saw your documentary and decided to get his blood tested for aluminum and barium. He had been getting headaches and foggy thinking. His doctor made fun of his "paranoia" but went ahead and ordered the tests. The results were astonishing. This guy had the highest level of aluminum on the LabCorp scale, and his barium levels (27) were three times higher than the maximum allowable for a human being (10). He now is seeing a specialist doctor at u. of Penn to figure out how to detox and what to do next.

It is important to collect evidence not just from soil, water and air samples, but from blood.

I am Merle Haggard's dentist. I am trained in Advanced Periodontics and Periodontal Prosthesis from the University of Pennsylvania. My work with Merle is documented in the Wall St. Journal and other publications.

The reason I am writing you is that Merle told me about Chemtrails over 10 years ago, and I thought he was off his rocker (!!). Then I heard Art Bell one night talking about it, and now your news emails that I enjoy very much. I understand science, being trained in it, and condensation coming from the difference in air temperature and the exhaust of the jet engine is entirely different than what we see that spreads out for miles in the sky and does not dissipate as condensation would.

It is interesting to note that when you and I were kids, there was never a contrail that did not dissipate as the jet crossed the sky. Many don't even today of course, but there are those that linger and linger and spread and spread. Clearly something has changed, and something is happening that should be explainable whether it is condensation or something else. It clearly is not simple condensation because it does not fade as condensation would under the laws of physics.

Anyway, I just thought I would write you and let you know that not only does Merle Haggard wonder what the heck is going on, but so do I... one trained in scientific method and physics. The world sure is not what we thought it was when we were kids!! Thanks for your efforts.

NO CHEMTRAILS SINCE JAPANESE EARTHQUAKE

I live in the Sunland-Tujunga area at the north end of the City of Los Angeles. I will be happy to track the chemtrail planes in my neighborhood using the planefinder.net website as an aid. However, I would like to mention the absence of chemtrails in Sunland-Tujunga since the March 11 earthquake/tsunami/nuclear disaster in Japan.

I have been watching these damn chemtrails overhead for quite awhile and have many times witneesed the planes in action as they belched out the whitish smoke in their travels across the sky. But ever since March 11, 2011, there has been a complete cessation of chemtrail activity in the Sunland-Tujunga area. The skies are now a beautiful blue on clear days instead of a milky white. I also used to hear planes going overhead all day long--now I hardly ever hear them.

The sharp reduction in the sound of aircraft overhead means that the chemtrail planes were probably the most prevalent aircraft flying over my neighborhood. (Normally we see commercial planes, small private planes, helicopters, high altitude jet aircraft, and on New Year's Day, the stealth bomber on its way to the Rose Parade).

Could it be that the chemtrailing has stopped out of fear of radiation from Japan? Perhaps there is concern that radioactive particles in the atmosphere might bond with the aluminum, barium, strontium, or whatever makes up the chemtrails, with the irradiated particles eventually settling down to earth, contaminating trees, roofs, lawns, cars, and children in playgrounds.

Well, whatever the reason, the skies are at the present clear over Sunland-Tujunga.
