[This is a PR move to enhance the Fed's image as being pro-active and transparent, but nothing has changed, including disinformation about the alleged strength of the economy. Although the purchase of government bonds with freshly created money may be terminated, it is to be replaced by a new program in which bonds will be purchased with money the Fed says it is earning from the junk mortgages it acquired from ailing banks. I happened to read an op-ed piece in the Washington Post today that accuses G. Edward Griffin of being an anti-Semite, and by implication because Mr. Beck devoted an hour to Mr. Griffin's work, Mr. Beck of also being anti-Semitic. Since I am currently reading The Creature From Jekyll Island, I decided to fact-check the accusation. Should I be surprised that the author of that op-ed just outright lied? It just pains me that so many "journalists," on both the right and left, have no ethics whatsoever about deceiving their readers if they want to get a point across. (More)

I contacted Mr. Milbank regarding his shameful attempt to portray you as an anti-Semite. I guess we really are in the whitewater now. Thanks again for all you have done and continue to do for the cause of Liberty.

Your attempt to paint G. Edward Griffin an anti Semite is shameful if not easily anticipated. In the past a single essay like yours would have relegated Mr. Griffin to the caste of the untouchables. Think Joseph Sobran. The days when a media personality could destroy someone by simply accusing them of being an anti Semite or racist are long gone. Like an overused antibiotic it has become ineffective.

The fact of the matter is that pretty much anyone that didn't graduate from Yale, Harvard or Oxford can easily see what the central bankers of the world are up to. Mr. Griffin's book, The Creature from Jekyll Island, is a meticulously footnoted, scholarly work that has provided millions of people with access to the facts about the fraud being perpetrated.

Is the fraud an intentional plot perpetrated by nefarious Zionists? Who knows? Who cares? Mr. Griffin never said it was. The fact remains that Liberty and prosperity are receding at an alarming rate and the foundational cause is currency debasement on a global scale.

Your bio indicates you are a father as am I. It is the reason I devote considerable amounts of time to learning about currency and monetary policy. I may not be able to leave my daughters the world I dream of for them and that they deserve but I'll die trying. Mr. Griffin's work provides much motivation for my efforts.

IS CONCERN OVER FRACKING A PLOY TO PROMOTE PHONY ENVIRONMENTALISM?

Hello> In your last Unfiltered News you ran an article and video that was an overview from a documentary called 'Gasland'. It shows how 'fracking' (drilling gas wells using toxic chemicals and high-pressure water) has destroyed the environment and caused serious illness in animals and humans.

After watching the video and sending out numerous warning emails, I received an email rebutting the info presented in the video as a Gang Green ploy to promote the cause of the "environmentalists" and their mission. Dear Tricia. Thank you for your efforts to share the truth. The article you sent (Ten Fracking Things Everyone Should Know) seems biased for the following reasons:

1. The author failed to mention the 'Halliburton Loophole'. The Halliburton Loophole is a law crafted by Vice President Dick Cheney in 2005 that exempts gas drillers from disclosing the chemicals that are used in fracking. Halliburton is the largest fracker in the industry.

2. Because there is a lack of disclosure, it's hard to prove where the pollution originates. This could account for the lack of complaints of water pollution.

3. Fracking has increased by 10 times in the last decade. Therefore, the harmful effects may have gone unnoticed prior to the recent great increase.

4. The author says that 99.5% of fracking ingredients are water and sand. That may be true, but 99.5% of a poisonous spider is harmless. It's the .5% that is deadly even in very small amounts. Many chemicals are toxic at levels far below .5% and are banned from the water supply even if they are measured in only a few parts per million. Fracking requires a huge amount of water, so only .5% represents millions of gallons of toxicity pumped into the ground.

Companies like Halliburton that inject chemicals into the ground should have to prove they are safe before they get approval to drill. That means they should disclose what they are using before they use them.

While we are very wary of phony environmental issues (like global warming) that are used to increase governmental power, we should fully support a real investigation into fracking pollution of water, groundwater and soil. If it is found that fracking creates a health hazard, then it should be discontinued, and the individuals who run those companies should be held responsible.

How would I know if G Edward Griffin was an imposter and his website was full of information that the US government approves of in order to give the impression there are counteracting forces? Somebody in Canada has told me (rightly or wrongly) that G Edward Griffin is too close to the US government and that there is a more definitive book on the FED which was destroyed many years ago. This person has no axe to grind with me as I found them.

Hello Robin.
You will not be able to know unless you are willing to do some independent research and analysis. It is easy to be influenced by unsupported statements of others who, themselves, are merely repeating what they heard from someone else, but that will never resolve the issue. The best way to judge a person's reliability on political issues is to see what they have said and done in the past. My record goes back to 1960, and everything I have ever said or done since then has been in opposition to the growth of collectivism. There are no exceptions or compromises. That's the only way to judge these things. "By their fruit, ye shall know them."

Your friend may not have an axe to grind, but he may have obtained his information from weak sources. I have read just about everything ever published about the Federal Reserve and, as far as I know, there has never been a book about the Fed that was destroyed. Please ask your friend to tell you what the name of the book is, who wrote it, and who said it was destroyed. If he can provide that, I will be happy to see if I can obtain a copy and, if not, find out why not. If it turns out that it truly existed and was destroyed (presumably by the government) we will be able to confirm it and I will be happy to report on it. Otherwise, this is just idle gossip. Instead of just planting the idea that another book may have been better than The Creature, why not focus on why it presumably was better and exactly what am I supposed to be hiding. The answers to those questions (if there are any) would really be interesting.

Being skeptical is a great way to be in these times, but there comes a point where one has to go beyond that and come to conclusions based on facts. Let's see if these allegations are facts or fantasy. Thanks for writing.

First and foremost, I would like to thank you for all your prayers, love, and support. Your prayers kept me strong in the midst of the storm. Your financial support helped restore my health and keep our house from foreclosure. Thank you!

It's almost over. I was released from Coleman Prison Camp on February 15, 2011. I was released to a transitional facility (halfway house) up until April 1st and then allowed to go home on "home confinement". Officially, I will be in the Bureau of Prisons custody until August 8, 2011. At that time, I will begin a one-year probation period, answering to a probation officer once a week. Then I will be able to travel and have more freedom of speech. The time between now and August 8th wll be spent restoring relationships and re-familiarizing myself with the world around me (especially technology).

I wrote 5 books in prison, one of which I would like to become a movie. (No, I didn't waste my time playing cards and watching television.) I will have to do a little more research on two of the books, type all of the books into Microsoft Word and get them copyrighted and published. I plan to continue public speaking. I also plan to attend Bible College this fall and start a women's ministry. (Any tuition or publication gifts will be greatly appreciated.0 In addition, I will be speaking out on social issues, like PRISONS.
I solicit your prayers in these areas.
