Japanese yen had risen to historic highs just before the trio of tragedies last Friday. Now the picture has changed. The G-7 (group of seven industrialized countries) promises to 'support' Japan's recovery by intervening in the currency markets. Japan's central bank has pumped $470 billion of newly created money into the system to stimulate borrowing for reconstruction. [It is  difficult to understand news like this because the words are deceptive. When G7 says it will 'support' Japan, that means it will not retaliate when Japan pushes down the value of its money. Japan will deliberately create massive inflation by drastically expanding the money supply, and this will drive down the value of the Yen in currency markets. The Japanese government likes that because it makes their exports cheaper to other countries. That boosts their export sales, but only at the expense of the Japanese people who then are crushed by inflation. Governments and corporations don't care about that as long as sales are good.]

We replaced the 12-year state Republican chairman with another scoundrel… but we got a libertarian in as VICE-Chair! I don’t, by any stretch of the imagination, deserve all of the credit for the above successes… but I worked like a dog on all of them.

First of all I would like to state that, in my humble opinion, men like you are precious because of their intelligence, knowledge, honesty and clarity in which they present their ideas. Personally, my view of the world, political, and social systems and power centers was and still is greatly influenced by your work and lectures. I’m a member of Freedom Force for some time now.

I am not going to waste your time more than I have to. I am from Serbia, a country that has, in the last hundred years been through a lot of bad events and systems. Presently, we have a marionette government that is destroying education, making people get more and more into debt, stupefying the nation with reality shows and destroying traditional family values that were once our great quality.

So, let’s get to the point. My question for you, Sir, is: What can an ordinary man do in my country to change something for the better? I hope that you will spare some of your time to give me some advice on this. The more things you suggest, the better. Your response can be used by people from all around the world, because we are all prisoners of the same power structures.

Hello Nemanja.
Thank you for your kind remarks and especially for being a member of Freedom Force, which means you have made a commitment to liberty, a bold step in these times.

Your question has a simple answer. As one person, we can do very little except one thing, but that one thing has the power to change the world. It is to increase our ranks. It is to pursue every opportunity to enlighten others to the reality of our political and monetary systems and then recruit them into our network. Everyone can do that. It may seem like such a small step; but, if we just keep repeating those steps, soon we will find ourselves surrounded by a throng of like-minded warriors, and finally it will be possible to influence the power centers and political systems.

Freedom Force was formed in 2002 with just a handful of members. Since that time, our ranks have continuously expanded. Now, we have thousands of members in 68 countries, and the movement constantly is picking up speed and strength. Although my writings and Internet presence have played a role in making this happen, most of the recruitment has been accomplished by individual members, such as you, who have taken on the task of informing their friends and then asking them to commit to The Creed of Freedom and the Freedom Force plan of action.

Our task is to achieve critical mass. We are still far from that point so, at present, everything else is secondary. We cannot win battles without soldiers. Recruiting is something that all of us can do even though we are only one person.

It will be a pleasure to see a Freedom Force chapter form in Serbia. Perhaps you can play a part in that.

GRIFFIN ANSWERS: ARE PUBLIC-SECTOR UNIONS GOOD OR BAD?

The issue of public sector collective bargaining has been strangely absent from Unfiltered News. Please allow me to stir the pot. I am a public sector worker that belongs to a labor union. I have been following the events in the Midwestern United States, as I'm sure we all have. The issue of collective bargaining in the public sector has been discussed extensively in the major news outlets. I am also well aware of the issue of collectivism, as discussed in your well researched and eloquently written books.

Is it fair to say that collective bargaining could be based on the model of collectivism, but on a smaller scale? It seems to me that the primary objective of a labor union that has a right to collective bargaining is self preservation, the same as a government that is based on the model of collectivism. The secondary objective of a labor union with collective bargaining rights is the representation of its membership (the same as a government with the interest of its citizens being secondary to self preservation). Having said that, isn't a public sector labor union also a group of gainfully employed productive citizens that help protect the masses from the extreme thievery being fostered upon them by politicians beholden to corporations? Without unions, would we not see a steeper decrease in the quality of the American middle class? Is there any doubt that this "race to the bottom" would benefit the corporations that stand to benefit in the form of subsidies, tax breaks and lower cost for labor (labor is also a commodity) that politicians promise them? I would like to hear your views on this subject.

Hello Alfredo.
Thank you for your interest in my opinion of the issues you have raised. I will be as brief as possible in my reply.

You ask if collective bargaining could be based on the model of collectivism. The answer is that it could be based on the collectivist model or the individualist model depending on the presence of coercion. Coercion is an essential ingredient of collectivism, while freedom-of-choice is the essence of individualism. Therefore, if laws have been passed requiring workers to be members of labor unions or if laws prohibit employers from hiring non-union workers, then we are dealing with collectivism. On the other hand, if union membership is voluntary and if employers are free to hire non-union workers, we are dealing with a free market, which is one of the markers of individualism.

Collective bargaining is neither good nor bad per se. It is the product of a natural evolution in negotiations between different groups with conflicting goals. In freedom, it is a constructive and usually productive force. With coercion, however, usually in the form of laws that favor one side or the other, the process leads to stagnation, bitterness, and unsustainable contracts, such as the ones that have bankrupted auto manufacturers and now are bankrupting local governments.

The assumption that public-sector employees are primarily motivated by a desire to protect the public does not square with observable facts. True, there are some public-spirited civil servants who are drawn to government work for this purpose, but I am sure you have witnessed from the inside that all-too-many simply view their jobs as a gravy train and are more concerned with pay raises and benefits than the public good. This is no different from employees in large corporations. A few are sincerely interested in doing the best they can for the productivity of the company and try to serve the best interests of stockholders, but most are totally consumed with pursuing their personal gain with no consideration of the investors who, supposedly, they serve.

Regarding the value of unions in generating a better life for the average American, my observation is that the presence of coercion in American unions has created the temporary illusion of benefit for workers through higher wages and benefits but at a price that was not sustainable. This process eventually ended in the collapse of the system and, therefore, the so-called good life is coming to an end because it was unrealistic. Productivity was not high enough to sustain it. If coercion had not been an ingredient -- if freedom had prevailed -- advances may not have been so dramatic and rapid, but they would have been permanent and continuing. The tortoise, once again, would beat the hare.

I am a longtime avid reader of “Unfiltered News”, and your wonderful book “The Creature from Jekyll Island” and agree with your conclusions in your 4 part essay "The Future is Calling" regarding matters related to the current rapid push towards world government.

I would appreciate your analysis of a matter involving a complex question I am at a loss to answer related to the motivations, and strategy of those power elitists,,, (i.e International banking cabal)… who push their agenda for world government. Part of their agenda as I understand it is population reduction of the globe down to less than a billion people mostly comprised of low income worker slave types. Presumably this brings to an end the current existence of middle, and upper middle class segments of world society. Since progressive income taxes levied on the middle class pay the interest due on government debt to the central bankers, how do these giants of intellect within the globalist controllers of the world’s shadow governments expect to stay wealthy and finance whatever governments or government remains??? The UN is taxpayer supported as well as all the major governments of the world. After a couple of centuries of stealing their wealth from the working middle class I doubt the Rothschild/Rockefeller cartel will fork over any of their loot. Am I wrong or have the evil banksters unknowingly set a course to kill the goose that lays the golden eggs???

GEG REPLIES:
The reason this is a hard question to answer is that it is based on two assumptions that are not true. One assumption is that all members of the elite have the same motivation, and the other is that there must be a productive middle class to sustain elite wealth and power.

The elite have numerous motivations. Some desire population reduction. Some want to breed a mentally inferior and subservient sub-set of the human race. Some want to control the attitudes and actions of the masses to make them passive and obedient to their masters. Some have no long-range goals at all and merely seek to perpetuate their privileged role in society during their lifetime. Yet, they all work together because collectivism is their common tool, and freedom is their common enemy.

Any of these goals can be achieved without a productive middle class to pay taxes. In fact, they can be accomplished without taxes at all. National governments can create all the money they need from thin air through their central banks, as they now are doing through the Federal Reserve in the United States and the EU central bank in Europe. If they ever gain total control over the economy and over the people as they desire, they won't even need money as we have known it. They will assign each person a certain number of "digital monetary units" depending on their rank within the collectivist system and their service to the elite. These could be downloaded into microchips embedded in their hands or shoulders. In the end, control and privilege would rest upon the raw power of coercion enforced by police and prisons, and digital money would become merely a means of rewarding those who serve and punishing those who resist. Who needs golden eggs when they own all the eggs and all the geese and all the gold and all the humans in the world?

It is difficult to look into the future based on expectations that the forces that have operated in the past will continue to do so in the future. However, if we realize that a whole new set of rules is being developed for the New World Order and if we think in terms of those new rules, then it all makes sense.
