WHY DOES THE GOVT. BORROW WHEN IT CAN CREATE ITS OWN MONEY?

I have your book (just received your 5th edition) and one question my wife has asked me repeatedly is: since the Fed tells the Treasury to print worthless money out of nothing, why do we as a nation still borrow money from countries like China? If the Feds can force the Treasury to print these worthless currency notes, it seems there would be no reason to borrow. What am I missing here?

GEG'S REPLY:
The government would rather borrow because that does not expand the money supply. The money it borrows already is in existence. Therefore, these loans do not create inflation. They may bankrupt the nation and lead to inflation in the long run, but not at the time of the loans. However, when the government can no longer sell enough of its bonds to borrow what it needs, it must turn to the Fed, which creates brand new money out of nothing, partly in the form of currency printed at the Treasury, but mostly in the form of checkbook money and digital credits in bank accounts. This does expand the money supply and causes inflation in the short term. Governments would rather avoid inflation because that undermines their popularity with voters.

RANTING AT THE MOON WILL NOT EFFECT ITS ORBIT

I always find something of interest in your ample digest and frankly, I'm very gratified that P.W.Guenther has recently (Nov 20th) addressed many key issues related to the chem-trail debate - particularly as these same concerns also resonate with serious questions arising from the interpretation of the data sets used by climate scientists. Your support for serious discussion and intelligent dialogue about these crucial matters is extremely welcome and to be applauded.

There is a huge difference and a clear distinction to be drawn between the deliberate falsification of data and interpretive error. There will always be error in science. Indeed, the entire edifice of
empirical understanding is built principally on the exposure of error, and the free exchange of experimental findings. This means there has to be an agreed formula for coherent replicability - that recognises the plausible validity of Popper's important concept of falsifiability. Once we agree there is an ethical responsibility to evaluate fully all peer-reviewed verification of the evidence, and without prejudice, at least we a have a framework for analysis. Admittedly this is a tall order, but at least it exists and, in theory, is the rational basis of all current consensual thought.

Experience has revealed that authority is far from infallible, and since consensus is never complete, we need to be wary of false arguments born of pretentions of elitism or collective comfort. Scepticism (I'm using the English spelling here) is essential, but cynicism is unhelpful. In a world riddled with deceit and corruption, it is hard not to be cynical, but ranting at the Moon will not affect its orbit.

Governments and corporations deceive, we know that, but we have the right and the opportunity to call these "august powers" to task, whomever they may be. As citizens of the global polity we have both the means and a clear responsibility to act conscientiously and to change corrupt practices wherever they exist. The Internet empowers us to do this.

IS HUNZA BEING SUBVERTED?

After visiting a local company called Tropical Wholefoods (a subsidiary of Fullwell Mill) I am very frustrated by their actions,. Below is a synopsis of an email I sent to them:

I visited your factory in Southwick a few months ago with a view to buy Apricot Kernels. At that time I was lucky enough to speak to your director 'Richard Friend' to discuss your products. I was told by Richard that the Apricot Kernels you sell are sweet Apricot Kernels and that they are not the same as the Bitter Apricot Kernels that I had been buying elsewhere. During the conversation with Richard he explained that Fullwell Mill Ltd is working directly with the Hunza's and is grafting sweet apricot kernel cuttings onto the bitter apricot trees grown there.

I am concerned that thousands of years of evolution to produce a food potentially beneficial to the entire human race could be inadvertently lost in a few years of grafting and urge your company to stop this practice.

GEG'S RESPONSE:
Several years ago I was told by an importer of apricot kernels from Turkey that they were the "sweet" variety, which means they still contain amygdaline but not in the high concentration as American apricot seeds. Consequently, they are not as bitter as U.S. crops. They also told me that their kernels were essentially the same as those from Hunza. Therefore, I have been of the opinion that Hunza seeds naturally are of the "sweet" variety. If that is true, then there would be no reason to do grafting. So what you have recently learned is of great interest. Please let me know of any additional response from the company.

CHEMTRAILS IN AUSTRALIA DESTROYING CROPS

Thank you so much for participating in, and delivering to us "What in the world are they spraying?".

Here, where I live in Australia, it is an idealic location on the far north coast of New South Wales - truly beautiful. We grow sugar cane, macadamias, avocadoes, olives, mangoes and other crops. Since June of this year, we have hardly seen the sun and I could count on one hand the amount of sunny days we've had since then. We have no sunrise, nor sunset anymore, no stars, just a constantly white out sky. If it does start to clear the planes fly over and the chemtrails come pouring down and we are back to white out skies again. We are a couple of days from the start of our summer and yet the temperatures vary between 15 -22 degrees celsius most days.

After watching your film it became abundantly clear to me that we were under some sort of weather modification programme. I started burning copies of the dvd, mailing them and handing them out to all that I can think of including our local member and local farmers and sending copies to our Bureau of Meteorology.

It is my guess that here, where I live they are trying to destroy the crops. The sugar cane farmers can't planet their crops (this is a huge industry in this area), the olives have no oil this year, there will be no mangoes or macadamias as flowers didn't form on trees due to cloud cover, this is from the farmer's own words. I'm sure the powers that be are hedging bets on the stock market regarding the price of sugar etc. whilst creating scarcity and higher prices for food . I am completely confident that this is another aspect to the geoengineering of the weather.

Anyhow, thank you again. I am doing all that I can to alert people, I even dream of chemtrails!!! I swear, that it is my mission to spread this information to the best of my ability and I shall not rest until this nonsense is stopped!

Shasta Herald in June of 2009, which was a rebuttal to the 14 paragraph article, they gave to the government spokespeople claiming that not much aluminum was found in the governments testing here in Mt. Shasta and their claim not to worry anyway because aluminum is not very toxic. My article was a rebuttal to those claims and assumptions. My article went unpublished. Contrary to U.S. government sources quoted in your paper (in the Mt. Shasta Herald article, "New Tests Find Trace or No Aluminum in Area Water," published June 10, 2009), international research studies show there are definite links to aluminum and its neuro-toxicity. Diseases such as Alzheimer’s, mental retardation and other neurological disorders have been cited in the following studies:
 
• See Clark Institute of Psychiatry Toronto study showing a direct correlation between the inhalation of aluminum dust of Canadian gold miners and cognitive memory loss: [The Advocate, “Is aluminum related to Alzheimer's disease?”, Dec 11, 1990, p.B-2., Walsh, M.W.]

The aluminum industry is one of the largest and most powerful industries in the world. The idea that governments and non-profit entities which may have a vested interest in aluminum, cannot be influenced or compromised, is to say the least, naive. It is important to note, that both the U.S. and Canada are top producers of aluminum. Their influence and lobbying powers are substantial. CHEMTRAILS FROM NOZZLES, NOT ENGINES

Love your stuff. Got the DVD. What are they spraying?.... Some interesting info. I was predisposed to be convinced, just needed details. I left disappointed. I suggest answering the following questions or providing the following information:

1. What chemical or biological agent is put in jet fuel that survives combustion to form the chemtrail?

2. Send someone to the refinery or airport fuel storage to look for and measure the presence of this chemical or biological agent.

3. If the identified agents are post combustion, where are they manufactured, stored, transported and injected?

4. Is combustion in modern jet engines hotter, faster or fundamentally different than earlier jet engines? and finally ...

5. Someone needs to capture and analyze the chemtrail itself. This will mean acquiring an aircraft capable of flying at same altitude the chemtrail is made. This is the ONLY way to PROVE what the chemical composition of the chemtrail is. Measuring the chemical composition of the soil 5-10 miles below the flight path allows for too many other contaminating paths.

GEG'S REPLY:
I regret that we did not make it more clear in the documentary, but we do not claim that chemicals are added to fuel and pushed through the engines, even though there are patents for such a process. The evidence suggests that the chemicals are being sprayed by tankers that inject the substance into the atmosphere through nozzels. Therefore, we would have no reason to go to an airport to check the fuel supply. Furthermore, these planes do not originate from commercial airports.

As for the other questions, we do not yet have definitive answers. As you can imagine, this information is not published on the Internet. Acquiring a jet aircraft and flying in the wake of a chemtrail is no small task and also would be a health hazard to the crew. Nevertheless, we are working with a team of experts who are attempting to do exactly that. We will, of course, widely publicize the results as soon as we have them.

THE KOREAN ATTACK WAS CORRECTLY REPORTED IN WESTERN MEDIA

I've been reading your news page for several months, now, and appreciate it. I'm not always convinced by the commentary, and I disagree very much with your comments on the recent Korean conflict (the artillery attack). I live in Korea, and can say that Western media reports are consistent with Korean media reports. Being close to the conflict leaves me little room for speculation about the motives of the U.S. and South Korea. Your second post wrongly states that South Korea mistakenly fired first on North Korea. The S. Korean navy drill which preceded the attack, which the russian media company (the RT video from your link) found fault with, is a monthly drill, conducted in South Korean waters, with no shots fired toward North Korea. North Korea disputes the boundary line, but that russian news analysis is the first I've seen to agree with them and blame the South. A day or two after the attack a shot was mistakenly fired into the DMZ from the South (with notification of the mistake sent to the North), but nothing came of it.

I read with special interest the letter written by Sam Pettit entitled “Reality is bleak, but the future is bright,” dated November 21, 2010, and am motivated to respond to his plea on behalf of himself and the others who find themselves in dire straits. What can one do who, admittedly by their own fault, find themselves unable to make it on a monthly social security pittance?

The answer to that question is to look inside yourself to discover the only true and lasting human life assets available to mankind, all given to us by God and from which all real value is derived. Not only is all value directly created by the use of these assets, they are directly responsible for and necessary to the use and enjoyment of all values derived.

They can easily be listed and memorized by use of the word, T-I-C-K-E-T, your “ticket” to prosperity and happiness when fully understood and utilized. They are (1) TIME, (2) IMAGINATION, (3) CONCENTRATION, (4) KNOW-HOW, (5) ENERGY and (6) TOTAL.

Time is given to every living soul one minute at a time, 1,440 in a day, to use and invest at will, which we all do simultaneously in real time. Imagination is seeing that which is not, as though it were. Everything we see and use first existed as an idea before it could be materialized into something of human value. Concentration is the power to focus on one thing at a time, bringing the full force of all our assets to bear on a single project. Know-how is the skill, the ability, to perform the needed task or objective. Energy is the physical and mental power the task requires, and Total is the single force created by all the listed assets when focused on our objective.

Want to trade failure and misery for success and happiness? You can do it instantly by the understanding and doing of the success definition: Success is the progressive realization of a worthwhile, personal, believable goal. Write down your goal, make your plan and take the first step toward it. It is a journey, not a destination.
