CALL TO ACTION AGAINST CHICAGO CORRUPTION

Dear Mr. Griffin:
When Mark Clements was 16 years-old, he was arrested for murder and tortured so that he would confess to a crime he did not commit. The Chicago police captain, Jon Burge, who led the gang of torturers, was convicted recently of perjury, not torture, as the statute of limitations had passed. The torture by Burge and his cohorts lasted from 1972 through 1992. Clements says there are still 22 innocent men in prison who confessed under torture by Burge and his followers.

In a recent article, it is interesting to note that Clements' case was finally investigated when reporters of the Chicago Tribune were "allowed" freedom to "blow the lid off of the Jon Burge scandal".

The media attention that Clements has received has been primarily through Socialist leaning media outlets. It is imperative that Libertarians, Independents and other freedom advocates understand that America is a Police State and that they, also, start speaking out against it!

In a separate case, this article indicates that Aaron Patterson was framed and convicted of murder at 17 years-old, after being tortured by Chicago police lieutenant Jon Burge, while Mayor Richard Daley was a prosecutor. Patterson was released when he was 38 years-old and became an extremely vocal activist. He ran as a candidate for the Illinois House of Representatives and used his position to expose injustice.

A few years after Patterson exposed Daley and his direct involvement in cases of torture of many black people who were framed for crimes they didn't commit, Patterson was arrested by federal agents and sentenced to 30 years for what many believe was a trumped up drug and gun victimless crime case. He is in solitary confinement at Big Sandy US Prison, which has a reported history of prison staff assaulting the prisoner population.

A huge coalition of blacks who strenuously oppose Mayor Daley are tired of victimless crime offenders (most of whom are black) going to prison at the hands of corrupt judges, police and prosecutors (whites are often granted probation for victimless crimes), and this could spell trouble for Daley.

Again, it is important for liberty-minded people, particularly Libertarians, and their media outlets to support people who have been falsely imprisoned. In fact, the large number of black people who have been abused by the system could be good allies in the freedom movement, with a large voting base. I have direct contact with Mark Clements and he is available for radio and video interviews.

The government has failed to protect our individual rights, and the people working for the government have the incentive of their paychecks to expand their duties for job security. The States get more federal funding with more people in prison.

It is crucial that all people learn about Jury Nullification which is a great alternative to corruption. Jury Nullification occurs when a jury verdict rules against the letter of the law, usually due to the injustice of the law, like victimless crimes. Dear Mr. Griffin: The city of Mill Valley where I reside starts a composting of food scraps in with the "green can" /consists of weeds, etc from peoples yards. And I thought about it as a great idea but then was reminded of GMOs being included and now would like to know what others think about this idea of composting food scraps. I avoid GMOs and yet because it is not required to show us on labels what is and isn't, GMO food scraps are certainly a possibility.

Thanks so much for all that you do. I honestly do not know who else to take this issue to. And I look forward to hear from you or anyone there about this.

THE BEES ARE GONE IN WASHINGTON STATE

I don't know if you can use the information or not, but I thought I might let you know about the bee situation around me, here in Washington state. All around the Thurston county (Olympia) and mason county areas there is a very minimum of bees this year. I have personally seen one honey bee this year, and no wasps. I have seen three bumble bees so far, and all of them have been in the last two weeks. My fruit trees are barren this year. Talking to other people in both counties, I have found that this is pretty much a universal happening in this area. This is in an area where in the past, clear up through last year, I have had plenty of them around me, to the point of them taking over my greenhouse at times.

I am a person who has been, like most others, running around with my head in the sand until someone sent me a copy of one of your news letters, which opened my eyes. Through personally checking out some of your stories, I have come to the conclusion that you are on the money with most everything, and I recommend your website to everyone I talk to. I am trying to do whatever I can to further the search for truth, and get everyone to at least check it out and make up their own minds about what is going on in the world now. Keep up your good work and maybe we can somehow get everyone together trying to make things right.

I woke up this morning in a somewhat odd mood. I was looking at the people in my life and people I watch that are in the public eye and there are several things I see are that are consistant in most everyone. People that don't have any Economic understanding always blame the Government for their woes and those that don't have any real spiritual understanding blame others for their woes. In both cases, they don't see either their participation or thier own resonsibility. So I came up with something "Twitter size" to sum it up: "Observation: Economic understanding is like spiritual understanding, without it, personal freedom can only come at the expense of others."

HYDROCARBON ENGINEER SAYS THEORY OF ABIOTIC OIL IS BUNK

I go to Reality Zone with high expectations, always. I trust that site because of its creator/manager, G. Edward Griffin. After all, anyone who could write the book "The Creature from Jekyll Island" has to be brilliant . . . and vigilant.

Having spent much of my life [75 years] as an engineer, scientist, mostly in the hydrocarbon (Oil) field I opened the link to Joel Skousen's commentary with great expectations that I would get some level headed, information based on hard facts and sound knowledge.

Once the host and Skousen started to echo each other about their "belief" that the oil under the gulf is "abiotic", I stopped listening. Comments like that make me suspect that I am listening to some laymen with a fervent religious bent. I wonder how GEG let that kind of commentary get by him.

True, there are some non-religious geologists who think that abiotic oil might be possible. Quite a few of them are Russians. They would be unlikely, however, to state that it comes from dead dinosaurs of all things.

The Russians spent huge sums on the Kola Superdeep Borehole. They reached 12,262 meter (40,230 ft) in 1989 which still remains the deepest artificial point on earth. The well penetrated metamorphose and Igneous rock. Igneous means "fire born" or non-sedimentary and, by definition would not contain deposits of organic materials. They did encounter Hydrogen but no carbon mixed in! Nowhere on earth has anyone found exploitable quantities of hydrocarbons though, other than in sedimentary strata. Petroleum engineers will never tell you that the oil comes from dinosaurs. They lived much later. But they will show you that oil does seem to come from biological origins. Hydrocarbons can and will migrate under appropriate conditions. Thus oil can end up in strata that were not associated with life bearing materials. Fanatical religious laymen, lacking the knowledge could then claim that this oil is abiotic. But it isn't. They just lack the knowledge to tell which are the biotic source strata above or below from where the oil actually came from.

The big problem with the subject is these semi literate religious fanatics who want to prove that the earth is no older than a a few thousand years.

The subject of the Horizon well is wrought with huge amounts of disinformation from diverse sources, each with their own agenda. I, for one, am trying to come to grips with how the blow out happened and what the true situation is. The conversation between two people who start out making technically untenable statements that smack of religious agendas, is not what I consider a source worth my time and, in my humble opinion has no place in the pages of GEG's web site.

I find your response to Mr. Laszlo most ridiculous and shows that you are taking one side but you don’t want to appear doing so. Have you ever visited the area? I suggest you do, to see how the Palestinians live; not only in Gaza, not in the west bank, by the way these two areas (representing 22% of the whole of the original Palestine) but in Israel proper. You sound so shamefully ignorant when you talk about ”the sad conflict between Palestine and Israel”. Have you seen “Palestine” on the map? Have you ever seen what is left of the 22%; by the way should been established on 50% of the original Palestine. I am really disappointed to that you cannot filter a single truth over this conflict that has been going on for 60 years.

Please do not misunderstand our position on this issue. We have already stated clearly that we do not think the Israeli claim to Gaza or any part of Palestine is justified and we think that the Israeli government has waged a propaganda war against its own people and the world to gain support for its actions. Furthermore, we are repelled by the covert ties between the Israeli and U.S. governments and their joint pursuit of global government based on the model of collectivism. But that does not make us partisans in a war to topple the state of Israel.

News stories coming from that part of the world are almost always loaded with emotional spin to throw public sympathy one way or the other. Our job at Unfiltered News is, as the name suggests, to unfilter the spin and present the facts; and that is hard to do when passionate advocates on both sides of the conflict feel free to distort the facts to generate hatred of their enemies, feeling that their cause is just and the end justifies the means.

We understand your indignation over the military occupation of Palestine, but we are not participants in this conflict (we have more than enough evil to combat in our own part of the world). We must continue to report events as accurately as we can, regardless of which side it favors. If it can be shown that we have made any errors of fact in our recent stories about the Israel attack on the Gaza flotilla, please send us documentation and first-person testimony to the contrary so we can share it with our readers.

Thank you Mr. Griffin for your detailed response, and please accept my apology for the harsh language of my message. I must add that your message has restored my confidence in you. This is very important since I have been one of your “fans” for many years. As to Israel and America, I am afraid that the politics of your country has gone 100% Zionist. Your senate which is 99% pro Israel (more than the Israeli Knesset), plus a VP who is running around proudly announcing that he is a Zionist is something to consider when you are “combating evil in your part of the world”. You see, Mr. Griffin, politics is the art of bargaining. I am sure if you study the voting history in the Senate (both houses) you will see the Israeli factor influencing the local politics of the USA. Take for example Obama health care bill which I understand you do not approve. Do you know it was passed by the senate on the condition that the president does not press the Israeli government to stop building or expanding settlement in the West Bank. I am not sure how true this is but I heard it from one commentator from the USA. You see, Mr. Griffin the evil in your part of the world stretches all the way to the Middle East.
