GLOBAL COOLING UPDATE

We're scheduled to get snow here in Sacramento [California] tonight along with a record low of 27. I've lived here for 20 years and have only seen snow once during that time. Although I haven't heard for certain, I believe this is the earliest snow on record for this area. Houston, TX, had their earliest snow on record this past week.

We know that individual weather events aren't terribly significant in relation to global climate, but the sum of them indicates that we're in a cooler period. Personally, I liked it better when it was warmer.

HERE'S A LITTLE CHALLENGE FOR RESEARCH BUFFS

At the Seattle Crash Course on Money, Mr. Edwin Yasukawa gave me photocopies of key pages in a book entitled Interesting Events in The History of the United States. It was published in 1832, but was in amazingly good condition after 177 years. In this book, there appears the text of the United States Constitution, including Articles 8 through 15. The amazing thing about this is that these articles are not included in current printings of the Constitution or historical references, all of which stop with Article 7. Examination of the amendments to the Constitution fail to reveal any revisions that might explain this. Since I can find no mention of Articles 8 though 15 in any of the references in my library and nothing on them is found in an Internet Search, I assume they were never ratified. Can anyone shed

light on this question?

THE REAL COST OF THE CASH-FOR-CLUNKERS SCAM

If you traded in a clunker worth $3500, you got $4500 off for an apparent "savings" of $1000. However, you have to pay taxes on the $4500 come April 15th (something that no auto dealer will tell you). If you are in the 30% tax bracket, you will pay $1350 on that $4500. So, rather than save $1000, you actually pay an extra $350 to the feds. In addition, you traded in a car that was most likely paid for. Now you have 4 or 5 years of payments on a car that you did not need, that was costing you less to run than the payments that you will now be making.

But wait; it gets even better: you also got ripped off by the dealer..
For example, every dealer here in LA was selling the Ford Focus with all the goodies, including A/C, auto transmission, power windows, etc for $12,500 the month before the "cash for clunkers" program started. When "cash for clunkers" came along, they stopped discounting them and instead sold them at the list price of $15,500. So, you paid $3000 more than you would have the month before.... (Honda, Toyota , and Kia played the same list price game that Ford and Chevy did).

So let's do the final tally here:
You traded in a car worth: $3500
You got a discount of: $4500
---------
Net so far +$1000
But you have to pay $1350 in taxes on the $4500
---------
Net so far: -$350
And you paid $3000 more than the car was selling for the month before
---------
Net -$3350

We could also add in the additional taxes (sales tax, state tax, etc.) on the extra $3000 that you paid for the car, along with the 5 years of interest on the car loan, but let's just stop here.

So who actually made out on the deal? The feds collected taxes on the car along with taxes on the $4500 they "gave" you. The car dealers made an extra $3000 or more on every car they sold along with the kickbacks from the manufacturers and the loan companies. The manufacturers got to dump lots of cars they could not give away the month before. And the poor, stupid consumer got saddled with even more debt that they cannot afford. Obama and his band of merry men convinced Joe consumer that he was getting $4500 in "free" money from the "government" when in fact, Joe was giving away his $3500 car and paying an additional $3350 for the privilege.

Think this was stupid for those who were crazy enough to swallow this wonderful scheme? Just wait until we get health care with "no additional costs" over what most of us now pay for health insurance and the best medical care in the world. Think that scheme might be designed by the same people who came up with Cash for Clunkers?

JEWS IN RUSSIA WERE INCORRECTLY CLASSIFIED AS A RACE - BUT WHO CARES?

This is a very delayed response, but I just realized someone had replied [to a posting dating back to January, 2009]. I don't know what to tell you regarding your comment. Personally, my family consider themselves to be "Jews" mainly because in communist Russia it was considered a race. It was put on your passport as your nationality rather than a person of "Russian" nationality. Don't ask me why. That's the way it was. Jews in Russia were largely discriminated against and the first to lose jobs and found it difficult to find jobs. My family are largely atheists, but since many of us found ourselves on various sides of struggles with others, people naturally align themselves with others who they think are on "their" side.

Personally, now that we live in the US (and I basically grew up here), I find the old school mentality of some of my family very irritating and frustrating. They will not forgive and forget and move on. In fact, either will the society/religion/government in the US that constantly says never to forget the holocaust. Personally, as I mentioned before, I find this very irritating. It's as if the powers that be want to make the Jews feel angry, paranoid, and victimized, while the rest are made to feel guilty. In the meantime, some Jews might be promoted to high places to carry out various agendas and if you have a problem with it, they can yell "anti-Semitism". That's one theory that I sort of see. The Jews (some Jews) are a tool/servant of the ruling elite to carry out their agendas.

Anyway, I don't ask for anyone to fee pity. Everyone must take responsibility for their own lives and the hand that was dealt to them, since I believe that we likely chose this hand to learn certain lessons anyway.

I cannot look at the world and say it's a wonderful place. It's a learning ground for soules. they say that assholes run the world. I agree with this statement. But, karma and the ways of the world have to be orchestrated in some manner by someone.

The Jews have no monopoly on anything. The vast majority are average people, many of whom are duped. You should possibly check out Henry Makow's writing. I also feel that many people converted into and out of Judaism and various religions at various points. I think it's a lot of B.S. propaganda that says there is a Jewish race. Perhaps some or a lot of people can trace their roots back thousands of years in some sort of Jewish lineage, but I sure know that I can't. And what the hell does it mean anyway? So what? I can convert to Christianity tomorrow and my Jewish lineage is gone. Or the Christian minister preaching today could have had Jewish relatives 2 or 3 generations back. It's meaningless. So what? Who cares?

No person's suffering of any race or religion is any greater or worse than anyone else's. Also, I do feel that the 3 major religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam) leave a great deal to be desired and can be interpreted in almost anyway one wants.

What counts is each individual's thoughts, words, and deeds moment to moment and day by day.

WAS CLIMATEGATE A SETUP?

Why has no one stopped to consider the fact that no one is chasing the hackers who broke into the emails? Perhaps it is because they were a sanctioned operation, just like Blackwell? I think so, and I think the timing of the hacking is due to the fact we have to make a swift reversal on global warming positions, because we are going to need every drop of heat we can get to fight the mother of all ice ages that is coming and coming soon. Besides, CO 2 was never the culprit, it was methane gas, which ultimately degrades to CO2 and that is where the bulk of the atmospheric CO2 excess came from, not cars and factories, and the bulk of the increased heat was brought up from the deep earth with the methane hydrates that migrated up and broke into the sea and or atmosphere. Now the thing is we still need to replace the use of oil in cars, because we are going to need it for keeping people warm. We are in dire jeopardy as a civilization.

Now we know that Blackwell was really the CIA. Well most things of any importance in our country are the CIA; they invest in all new technologies and startup companies for the ostensible purpose that they want to control anything that might help or be used against the US. All well and good in principal, and we have superb intelligence; however, where it fails is at the human level, where our CIA hierarchy strives to please the corporate powers that control them, without a understanding of what possible gibberish they are being fed by them and what possible things they are hiding, like the fact they have been dissolving the crust of the earth for 150 years and making methane gas in the process.

REBUTTAL TO ANTI-EVOLUTIONIST

I refer to Mr. Jurek's letter in Unfiltered News [dated 2009 Nov 12]. This letter is a blasphemy of God, deity, the Creator or whatever you want to call him.

I appreciate that you avoid the subject of science in order to exclude the "false" or "pseudo" science of the Marxists, etc. I can see where that would be divisive and also tarnish the credibility of your Newsletter. However, I hope you apply the same filter to religion.

The problem is that by airing the pseudo scientific babble of people like Brian Jurek, you achieve the very effect you want to avoid. To the neutral observer Mr. Jurek sounds like a religious fanatic trying to elevate his religious confusion into a science.

These creationists, and if Jurek isn't one, he sure sounds like one, are usually profoundly lacking of the academic qualifications to opine on the subject of evolution or any other facet of science. I have never heard one or read a (often very impressive sounding and looking) creationist book, where their ignorance doesn't become readily obvious to the scientifically trained listener or reader.

Creationists propose to substitute heavy and extensive training in the sciences with nothing but fervent believes. A doctorate in divinity or some other "basket weaving" degree simply does not qualify one to speak on any subject of science, including evolution.

Unlike evolutionists, truly scientifically trained people never claim that the knowledge of science is infallible or immutable, although there are many, fairly solid facts, like that the earth is round and not flat, that are pretty well established as such. The creationists' pseudo science babble simply doesn't pass the test of science. It only impresses other ignoramuses.

Consider Jurek's second and third paragraphs. The second one is pseudo science babble and the third is a textbook example of a strawman argument. It is also arrogant because it contains hidden false premises; that true science elevates itself as God; and that his religion, creationism, is science, which brings us full circle, the creationists' substitution of their pseudo science for the real thing.

I am not at all alone in holding that the universe is infinitely awesome in its grandeur and complexity. It is way beyond man's ability to comprehend in its entirety. The deeper one delves into real science, the more one is awed by the universe's grandeur. Attempts by these fanatical, pea brained creationists to reduce this infinite universe down to their gnat like capacity of comprehension is, to me, the penultimate blasphemy of the creator.

In short, letters like those of Mr. Jurek, simply don't fit into the frame of your excellent, excellent newsletter. At least not with an appropriate disclaimer. Yours is a publication of FACTS, PURE FACTS. Don't sully it by giving these fanatics a sounding board.

Public-Private Partnerships are one of the most effective tools used by the globalists to implement what is called Agenda 21 Sustainable Development, with the real goal of destroying the structure of representative governments and transferring wealth to private-interest collectivists.

The public part of the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) is the government which, when it accepts funding from private interests, quickly becomes corrupted and no longer represents taxpayers. Further, the government becomes silent against abuses to the public when they have been compromised by PPP business arrangements.

The private part of the PPP is often a combination of these entities:
- Corporations (usually multinational)
- Foundations (like Rockefeller)
- Associations
- Universities
- Any entity with a lot of money
- Non-Governmental Agencies (NGO's). NGO's are usually environmental agencies, like the Sierra Club and the Nature Conservancy.

The private stakeholder in the business arrangement always has profit as its goal, not service. Service was formerly the role of government. The assets that once belonged to the taxpayers are then transferred to private interests at fire-sale prices. Frequently, deceit, deception and distortion are used to fleece the taxpayer into this 'solution' for governments that are broke.

American local, county, state and the federal governments have gone broke and are ripe for the non-bid sale of their assets to PPP's because of deficit spending, and a lack of economic common sense.

Ms. Veon reports that the only way to combat this is:
1. Being alert and recognizing this scam
2. Understanding the structure and intent of the PPP
3. Taking action by exposing the PPP deceit at government meetings

IS THERE ANYTHING WRONG WITH LOBBYING?

I have a question I hope you could answer when you a have a moment. I've been in several discussions regarding Lobbying. We all know the influence corporations have on Government policies. I for one am not against lobbying but instead point the finger at the citizenry for not electing people with strong character or who do not throw out those that give in to lobbying temptations. Just curious as to what your take is on this.

Hello James.
I agree that there is nothing wrong in principle with lobbying. In fact, anyone who wishes to express his view to an elected representative could be considered as a lobbyist. Lobbyists for freedom would be a positive influence in politics. The problem as I see it is that government has too much power, and no one thinks in terms of holding people in government to a purely negative or defensive role. If politicians were not able to redistribute wealth, there would be little motive for lobbying, and little damage could be done as a result of it.

It was an honor and a pleasure meeting you yesterday at the New York “Crash Course on Money” event. The seminar left me feeling empowered to confront the financial challenges ahead, yet optimistic for the long term prospects for America and Liberty the world over.

I’d like to share an amusing anecdote to my attendance last night. After leaving the Marriot on West Street, I started walking back over to Wall Street to catch the subway up to Penn Station and my train ride home. The route to Wall took me up Rector Street, a foreboding, dimly lit, narrow little pathway to Broadway. Rector is bordered on the left by the Trinity Church cemetery. Stopping to read the inscription on one of the tombstones, I found myself captured in a moment of great synchronicity. The tomb before me was that of Alexander Hamilton, Father of American Central Banking, America’s first Treasury Secretary, and early proponent of paper money.

I said a little prayer for mercy on his soul and then cursed him for his earthly activities.

started fingerprinting children in schools, for benign purposes like
registration, taking out library books or paying for school meals. Tens of millions of pounds have been invested in the technology. Thus by the time they are adults they will believe it is normal to give up your fingerprints to the state at will. The dry run was here in the UK where around 2 million children are regularly fingerprinted at school. Now it's moving across to the US, where schools are starting to install fingerprinting equipment.

MICROSOFT WAS WORKING WITH THE GOVERNMENT FROM THE VERY BEGINNING

About the sharing of security between MicroSoft and the NSA: it's not new. In the good old days when Microsoft was DOS - not Windows - and programming was so unsophisticated that I could use an old fashioned 'word processor' like Galaxy to 'inspect' Microsoft's system software, I found that MS and NSA were already at it.

Having heard that there were 'back windows' built into the Gates operating system ... allowing Microsoft operatives to look inside the memory of computers running the Microsoft DOS Operating System ... I thought such a thing was interesting. But when there was a rumour going about that Microsoft were being good boys, and sharing the 'back window' facility with the government's National Security Agency, I thought I should look into the matter.

Very gingerly, without changing any of the code, I opened the DOS Operating System file using the Galaxy word processor.
And, lo, I beheld instance after instance, throughout the software, pairs of files, one with the prefix MS in front of a number, and a second with the prefix NA in front of the same number. Although I could not alter the software, nor would have done so had I been able to, I resaved the DOS file unaltered and closed Galaxy ... in the knowledge that there were many 'back windows' in the DOS program, and also that MS and NSA appeared to be "feeding at the same trough".
