MISINFORMATION ON OBAMA'S BOW TO SAUDI KING
Dear Mr. Griffin,
I pray that this reaches you and your loved ones in best conditions. I am one of many who learned a lot from you, and try to do their part in educating others about what is really happening in today's world, so we can act accordingly. Thank you.

One of the items in the last newsletter (2009 Apr 3) was: Obama breaks presidential protocol and gives Islamic bow of submission to king of Saudi Arabia. Sean Osborne of the Northeast Intelligence Network wrote it for Canada Free Press.

While there are many other important issues that we should be talking about, I found myself compelled to write to you regarding that piece, for the sake of the accuracy and integrity of the newsletter. This newsletter is one of the rare tools in today’s information jungle that I rely upon for receiving accurate information to help me form educated opinions about issues we have to deal with.

The writer of that piece concluded that this act of Obama was an Islamic act of submission. In other words, he concluded that bowing down to this Muslim king is somehow embedded in the teachings of Islam. That is simply wrong. In Islam, bowing (or any form of prayer or worship) to anyone or anything other than Allah/God/The Creator, is considered an act of treachery to God himself. I know that because I am a devout Muslim (I pray that Allah accepts me as one). There are no sources for Islamic teachings other than what is found in the Quran and example of Prophet Muhammad (hadith). I challenge anyone to find in these what supports this ludicrous assertion made by the writer of that piece.

I’m not sure what Obama was really doing, but if he did bow with the intention of showing the Muslim people that he respects them, I have a message for him: don’t bow except to your creator and apply justice. True Muslims are saddened by you bowing down to a western-supported dictator, while the injustice they experience are done with the support of the U.S., and in many instances, by the U.S.

The other point that the writer of that piece concluded is that by bowing to that king, Obama must have been -or is currently- a Muslim. After we established that bowing to anyone but God is forbidden in Islam, and that what Obama did was not a Muslim act, is there something wrong with someone being a Muslim? Is it unconstitutional for an American born Muslim to be president? What if Obama had also bowed to the British queen, what would this writer and the hysterical orchestra say about it?

The writer of that piece is affiliated with the North East Intelligence Network. I’ve been carefully watching their work for the past few years because of the alarming trend I saw coming out of it. As you can read on the about page of their website, it states that this entity was founded as a response to 9/11, and that their logo represents the 4 airplanes of 9/11. They accepted the fairy tale the government told us about 9/11 as fact. They are trying to create awareness about terrorism –unfortunately- by trying to link the teachings of Islam itself to terrorism. This works very well with the agenda of the “masters of the universe” who wants to take us for another joy ride, this time in Iran. As many similar entities and persons, they claim that they are against “radical Islam” and not against “moderate Islam”, but in reality their work spells out their hate for anything that resembles Islam or Muslims. They write about a few other issues such as China, but the main focus is “Islamic terrorism”.

This is an alarming trend for many reasons including:
1) It shows lack of understanding of what is really happening in the world, and who are the real power centers and brokers behind the scene.
2) It shows lack of understanding of what are the true teachings of Islam. Anyone can read the Quran for himself or herself and find out what it really says.
3) Their approach is inline with the mindset of an inevitable clash of civilizations and the us Vs them mentality.

SHOULD WE REFUSE TO PUBLISH VIEWS OF PEOPLE WHO BELIEVE IN ALIENS?
I am a new subscriber. My research over the past months, which includes Mr. Griffin's and others' writings about the Fed, money and the global economy, have convinced me that this understanding of our financial system is plausible.

I think it does the movement a disservice, however, to bring up the topic of aliens, as a recent reader did. First of all, in my opinion the idea is preposterous. More important, however, the reader's comment and the reply, gave me pause as to whether the point of view expressed in Mr Griffin's work, is sound and not the work of fuzzy thinkers at best, or paranoids at worst. I was so dismayed to see alien conspiracy juxtaposed against the very real possibility of government/ banking financial manipulation.

The reader ended his discussion by saying, "reality is fragile and we can never be completely sure of it" Hmmm, is that real? I guess we can't even be sure of that statement. It is not logical to say that we can never be completely sure of reality, that is unless one's mental state has been seriously compromised. I am certain I am sitting here typing on my keyboard. And how is reality fragile? Will it break, and if it does, what happens? Again, such an illogical statement belies a lack of clear thinking and by printing it, I feel it compromises the integrity of the work of Mr. Griffin and others. I'm sure we can ultimately uncover the truth about the Fed, international banks and the role our government is playing in the future of our country and the world. If the truth is not exposed now, we will definitely find out eventually. And it will be so real., so real, so real.

Thank you, Diana, for your critique. We did hesitate when adding that statement to our Readers’ Comments section, but the key word in our news service is UNFILTERED. If we filter out someone’s opinion because we or others may disagree, we are no better than those who control our major media. We operate under the assumption that, if the topic is of interest to a large percentage of readers (and the possibility of alien life definitely is in that category) and if it does not violate The Creed of Freedom or our Code of Conduct, we have an obligation to give it exposure. We have utmost confidence in our subscribers to make their own evaluations so long as all sides of a controversy are given fair treatment. Your critique is a perfect example of the kind of interaction we welcome and which we think is healthy for a free flow of unfiltered information.

I do understand your desire to give every civil subscriber a voice on your blog. Of course, I would prefer that the topic were limited to the Fed and the global banking establishment and all its ramifications. Otherwise I kind of feel like I'm playing Julia Roberts to your Mel Gibson. But that's okay, I get it. Your readers are your readers.

a lot of truth in it from many aspects. What I am having trouble
with is the conspiracy theory. I just can't wrap my mind around
it. It seems too old, too vast and this secret too well kept to be
credible. However, I must admit, it does appear to have some
validity. Help me out with this one. What corroborating information
can you give me that this is true????

I have written about 100% verifiable history and all of it is referenced to reputable sources in my footnotes. There is no theory at all. To what theory are you referring?

Great article! Maybe I'll use H2O2 to see if it will eliminate snail challenges. I've used HP on my house plants and they did marvelously. Even put a Christmas cactus into full bloom after several years of only a few blooms. Did not think of using HP for the snail pests. I'll let you know if it works. Spring is here and planting time is closer.

MORE THOUGHTS ON SOLAR MAX AND DOOMSDAY
Mike H raised this issue (March 25 issue of UFN), and I have been looking at the chain of events too. Not only are we due for solar max, and yes the weight of the polar caps is changing position, I have a suspicion what is being lost in the South , is what is being gained in the Nth polar area, as part of the tilting effect, and that tilt - from what I have read will be in the many 10's of degrees which would seriously affect weather patterns.

I am also trying to track the Volcanic activities worldwide, as before the Tsunami in asia there were a chain of quakes starting south, a month(?) later the big undersea shift, caused mass disaster.

The Volcanic activity in sth america and america needs watching closely, especially with the Yellowstone mass, being between, so to speak. As the caps and magnetic poles shift, the stresses building are going to be "shock and awe" that no human can argue with! It will certainly involve massive death tolls further climactic shifts ie the year without summer, that Krakatoa caused, due to ash blocking the sun, and savage local area changes to every one of us on the planet.

Regardless of my survival, and I would doubt it, I like to think that such an event will also wipe out agribusinesses like Monsanto, and it would make all the issues over AIG et al, seem a mere bagatelle. survival alone will be the triumph. not what party scores points and votes Real issues of food and shelter may snap who is left back into the real world. SPACE ALIENS
This is in response to the article "Aliens and population control" and Zecharia Sitchin's "evidence". It is common knowledge that outer space is a very hostile environment and man cannot live outside the protective canopy of planet earth. As such, it appears reasonable to me, if life does exist in outer space, the earths environment would be just as hostile to them as outer space is to humans.

There is also the time factor in traversing the universe. Our Milky way Galaxy is around (if I'm not mistaken) 100,000 light years from end to end. That's traveling at the speed of light for 100,000 years. Not at all realistic in my view.

I have been gardening for about 40 years and was wondering why bad bugs had to have a very specific pesticide to control them. I had been inhaling peroxide for aches, pains and allergies and it seemed to control all of them (The Idaho Observer, Dec. 12, 2002). Not having any source to go to for the information on how to use peroxide in the garden, I decided on the trial and error method -- a method I am comfortable with having used it successfully most of my 78 years. I expect within the next 6 to 12 months to experience a devaluation of the US currency or strong threat thereof so as to facilitate the introduction of a global currency. The stock markets of the devloped countries will continue to trade side ways over to coming years ahead. The next phase of dilemma will occur within the next 12 - 18 months as the government benefit periods for those unemployed will run out. Consumer spending to soften dramatically in 2010. Commodity prices will soar due to fear within the market place (geopolitical) in 2010. Gold reaches 2,000 an ounce for mid 2010. Price of real estate remains constant.

DO THE POLICE NOW OWN OUR MONEY?
It is inconceivable that law enforcement confiscates money based on a lack of "acceptable" explanation of how the money was obtained. How in the world does that mean the law enforcement agency then "owns" the money? It is law enforcement that is "obtaining" money illegally here! How could they possibly make any Constitutional claim to that money? What is the legal precedent for claiming ownership to "mystery money"? If I can't remember who I bought my house from do the police get it? This is absolute insanity. Do we need to file an "Intent to carry a bunch of money" form with the police before we throw a wad of cash in the car? How is due process suddenly GONE and we have government happily seizing any money it finds? Who decides how much money is "too much" to carry? Based on what logic? Seriously, I need help on this one.

A LINK BETWEEN ALIENS & POPULATION CONTROL?
Hello. My name is Terrence. A reader named Ankur had recently written a response to a letter I had sent a couple months ago. My letter begged the question of why the governments of the world seek to reduce the world population ( to the best of my personal research the goal is to have just 500million people on the planet). I initially thought it was because earth was close to becoming overpopulated but found this wasn't true when an assistant of G. Edward Griffin sent me a personal response saying that my notion was incorrect. He or she said that natural phenomena would always keep the population in check. He/she also said that population reduction was due to political reasons and to increase control.

In response to this answer, I sent a second letter (the one that was posted in the news letter) expressing that politics is just a superficial game to the elite and that control is easy as long as you have the proper ratio of authorities (ones who carry guns) to keep the populace in check. I also said that control was easy when using psychological manipulation through propaganda with TV, newspapers, and radio. So the question remains as to why the elite want to manually reduce the population. At the end of my letter I stated: "It seems the agenda of the elite is not entirely clear. There seems to be something more underneath the surface that we haven't discovered yet. The agenda almost seems other-worldly."

When I wrote this I in fact was making a subtle reference to alien beings from another planet within our own solar system (the reader,Ankur, thought it was insightful that I wrote this though I must say that I don't agree with much of Ankur's views on the subject of aliens). When I wrote this hint, I was hoping to spark a response out of G. Edward Griffin that would reveal his thoughts on the possibility of alien beings. Anybody whose a big fan of G. Edward Griffin knows that two of his previous documentaries include "Cataclysm From Space 2800 B.C." and "The Discovery of Noah's Ark". To be sure, neither one of these documentaries makes any references to aliens although they both highly resonate wtih the research of Zechariah Sitchin. Quoting a part of his bio "Zechariah Sitchin is an internationally acclaimed author and researcher whose books offer evidence that we are not alone in our own solar system. One of a handful of scholars able to read the Sumerian cuneiform tablets, he has combined archaeology, ancient texts, and the Bible with the latest scientific discoveries to retell the history and prehistory of mankind and the planet Earth."

Zechariah Sitchin has written a series of books called The Earth Chronicles (7 books in total) that give an alternative history of Earth's ancient past. It is well known that main-stream modern history is very inaccurate. So why wouldn't it be the same case with ancient history? In an attempt to peak the interest of Mr. Griffin and his readers, I will say that Zechariah Sitchin provides tons of evidence supporting the fact that humans did not evolve on Earth but actually originated from an extra planet on the distant outskirts of our own solar system. He makes the case that aliens are not little green men but are actually of human species like you and I. He also gives evidence that supports the fact that modern humans as we know them today were actually created in very early ancient times in an experiment, within a secluded area called the Edin ("i" intended).

Of course, I am very aware that when it comes to the subject of alien beings, there is plenty of disinformation to sift through ( one source of which, in my opinion, is the one and only David Icke). The reason I am such a firm believer in the teachings of Zechariah Sitchin is because he offers tons of evidence to back up each and every de tail that he writes about. The reason I have decided to link aliens and the subject of world depopulation is because Mr. Sitchin points to evidence that suggests that aliens have been responsible in the past for the mass murder of humans across the planet; one of which was the biblical flood (mind you, the bible is terribly misinterpreted and misunderstood and is NOT referring to just one powerful entity). If anyone is interested in Zecharia Sitchin's research then I recommend reading his first book titled The 12th Planet. Now I understand that some of you may think that I'm crazy for believing in what I believe. That's fine by me. I am only trying to spread information that I have been convinced to be truth just like the rest of you are.

On a side note I would like to give kudos to whomever wrote the letter titled (if I'm not mistaken) "Bah,Bah--Mooh,Mooh". I too think it's very arrogant to refer to others whom you think are ignorant as "sheep" and perhaps it might also be just a tad bit hypocritical to do so. The truth is fragile and we can never be completely sure of it.

Note from EG: I cannot reject the belief that Earth has been visited by alien beings. I think the evidence is impressive, although not conclusive. Yes, I have read all of Sitchin's works and find them interesting. However, I prefer not to dwell on this issue because I do not want those in the freedom movement who disagree to be drawn into debate. We need to concentrate on issues that unite us against collectivism, not those that divide.
