I'm re-reading your book. You foretold the current economic crisis exactly as it has come to be! You scripted the cover-ups and lies being told by politicians and the Federal Reserve to the letter. As you pointed out, anyone that had read and understood anything about United States and world history could see this coming.

Thank you. But its is a very sad thank you. My wife and I saved and planned for our retirement. We are now watching Washington steal our hard earned retirement fund. If Obama and cronies have their way we will be bailing out Europe......Again!! The Fabians have been very patient.

You can't imagine how much I enjoy reading your book [The Creature from Jekyll Island] and loaning the well read and battered copy that I have to others who are fascinated by it. Please also put me on your mailing list and send any newsletters that you publish. After all I'm serving 17 years in prison for trying to spread your message about the Federal Reserve System, which I'm proud to do so because everything in your book is 100% true, and every American needs to read it.

I laugh every day as I watch what is going on in this nation and I know why it's happening, while those in Washington refuse to wake up and change their ways!

At the present, taxpayers are spending $25,000 per year to lock me up, which is the first time in my life the government ever spent a dime to take care of me ... and they certainly never did anything to help me; so, at 61 years of age, I feel like that's better than living on $500 per month Social Security IF I had spent 40 years paying into that Socialist program, which I didn't. In a way, making the government spend 4 times more than they would pay me to live on Social Security is some kind of justice, after all. If life will not allow me to live in peace with those morons who simply will not let people live the American Dream, I'd rather be here than on the outside worrying about all the things the tax payers are having to worry about today.

I'm still trying to educate as many Americans as possible ... even if they are locked up. Someday these folks will be out of this place and they will at least know the truth.

SOVEREIGNTY MOVEMENT GROWS IN PENNSYLVANIA
The important and very misunderstood issue of state sovereignty is creating a lot of excitement across the U.S. "State sovereignty" is the the phrase describing the power the states have over the federal government. Since the states /created/ the federal government, they are more powerful. The /creator /is more powerful than the /creature/. The tenth amendment of the Constitution - "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people" - affirms state sovereignty. Sadly, since the War Between the States, the roles have reversed. The federal government/ /has been telling the states what to do and has created thousands of pieces of unconstituional legislation encroaching on the rights of the states and the people. And many states have had enough.

Dozens of states across our country are creating resolutions affirming their sovereignty and telling the government to back off. Pennsylvania is one of them. HR95 is a resolution introduced by Representative Sam Rohrer. Here is the resolution.

WHY THE COFFIN COUNT IS SO LOW?
On 2/17 Greatview wrote and asked why is our government only claiming a total of 6,000 or so dead US servicemen from Iraq and Afghanistan combined, when they have shipped back over 16,000 coffins?

I read some years ago that our government only counts them as battle casualties if they die "on the ground" in one of those two countries. If they are wounded in battle, and medavaced out to Germany or elsewhere, and they die anywhere but on the ground (like if they die in the aircraft thirty seconds after takeoff); then the US government does NOT count them as a war casualty.

My husband and I just listened to a CD of Ed Griffin explaining the formation of the Federal Reserve. It's shocking how much manipulation and deception of which we are the victims, under the banner of Democracy. Having this perspective now, I understand why you say that the labels--Socialism, Facism, Republican, Democrat, etc. just don't matter.

We do have a question: Who is going to bail out the US when we citizens no longer have the money to pay? If the goal is to reduce the citizens of the US to poor "peasants" like other 3rd World countries, then the time is coming when we peasants won't have the money to pay the interest OR the principal on loans. Does not the whole fraudulant system then collapse? Where then is their power? Won't those in power eventually be shooting themselves in the foot?

This concept deserves thoughtful analysis covering many aspects of the drama but, in my view, it all boils down to this: The elitists do not expect the common man to pay for this current debt in terms of money. In the face of crisis, people now are exchanging their personal freedom for security, or at least promises of security. At the end of that process, money as we have known it disappears and becomes merely digital impulses in accounts assigned to each person. Those digits will be used to acquire the necessities of life. The quantity people receive will depend on their service to the state and their willingness to cooperate. Those who obey will be told where to live and what work to do. Those who dissent will be cut off and will starve or beg. The elitists’ power will lie in total control over the economic lives of their subjects. Common people will support the government, not with taxes, but with human effort. They will be slaves to the system. Money is not a significant factor under slavery. Masters do not collect money from their slaves. Instead, they possess the output of their labor.

THE FEDERAL RESERVE TEACHING IN OUR SCHOOLS?
It was with total disbelief that my wife and I recently discovered that the Federal Reserve is directly involved with educational programs in our children's high school. There is a program called "International Economic Summit", IES. Its stated purpose is:

"The IES program is a world trade simulation for high school students, which teaches fundamental economic concepts within the context of international trade. ... The Summit program is a ten-week economics curriculum designed around the theme of international trade and globalization. Over the course of the semester, teachers guide their students in preparing to serve as virtual Economic Advisors to their assigned countries."

IS "SPL" A DISINFORMATION AGENT?
Hello Ed,
Without having done the research to confirm anything in the PNW article, I find a distracting side comment within SPL's first response. RZ responder 'SPL' bashed & condemned Alex Jones and you too with the following comment:

"... you might as well join the Alex Jones club and post some news once in awhile and bogus staged stuff the rest of the time. Hey anything to fit your agenda and make a profit, right. ..."

This is an irresponsible comment by SPL. While I can tolerate opinions I don't agree with, I too can ask, "so WHO IS 'SPL'?" More importantly, what is his/her agenda? And WHO does he/she think is a better source for general info on the NWO and all else that's going on, than the totally dedicated Alex Jones & his helpers, or yourself, or several other of the strong workers against the NWO?

We DO KNOW there are tens of thousands of dis-information agents, real people who are well-paid, official state, federal and military and private officers, trained agents of deception, who spend their taxpayer-debt paid days and nights writing letters to web pages, blogs and anywhere else they can inject their general distrust of people like Alex and yourself, into the mainstream, the patriot community and anywhere they think they can induce DOUBT and DECEPTION.

I'm going to ask -- who IS Mr. or Mrs. SPL? Not that I really care... But because we are sincere and struggling seekers of the truth and facts in America and the rest of the world, we deserve to know if he/she is merely a researcher of truth, OR an agent of deception?

It's fine that SPL did some digging and thinks the PNW story is bogus.
He can say that without provocation and with hopefully correct research. What is NOT fine is using his discovery, if it is correct, to malign your own works and the works of Alex Jones. WHICH DOLLAR IS THE IMPOSTOR?
Why has no one challenged the Fed in the Supreme Court? Of all their frauds there is one blatantly staring everyone in the face, and begs an answer. A Federal Reserve Note has "one dollar" printed on it. Also, a United States Treasury minted Silver Eagle has "one dollar" stamped on it. Yet it currently trades for, what 16 or 18 Federal Reserve Notes? 16 dollars = 1 dollar is an untrue statement. An impossibility. Therefore, one of them is a fraud, an imposter. We know who it is, but would be nice to hear the opinion of the courts. Where is the bureau of standard weights and measures on this issue?

CONCERNED OVER STATE-SOVEREIGNTY MOVEMENT
I am somewhat concerned by the recent rash of resolutions concerning state sovereignty as outlined in the ninth and tenth amendments to the Constitution.

The verbiage in these resolutions (nearly universally) state that ALL powers not ceded to the Federal Government are reserved to the states.

Although these resolutions seem a step in the right direction I must ask what happened to the all important phrase "or to the people"? Will we stand back and applaud as the state governments remove yet more of our freedoms with such an all encompassing statement?

WHAT'S WRONG WITH A UNIFIED EUROPE?
Hi, I'm Steve. I am a Eurosceptic, so most people know that I am for a Europe of Nations. Nevertheless, why is the European force an intrinsically bad idea? The purpose of N.A.T.O. was supposedly a pact for a European anti-communist pact, but instead led to the Europeans hedging their bets on the US stepping in in case the Soviets attacked or intervened. To this day, really, this seems to be the actual end of N.A.T.O....to provide war guarantees to small, unstable Eastern European/Eurasian countries (like Georgia) so they will not have to take care of their own defense. I see this as an opportunity for the U.S. to avoid future defense commitments to these nations, and I was wondering why a European defense pact is such a bad thing.

A unified European force is not an intrinsically bad idea any more than global government is an intrinsically bad idea. What makes both of them bad is the KIND of governments they are turning into. Both are designed on the model of collectivism and, therefore, they are programmed to evolve into totalitarian systems. Defense has very little to do with it. It’s as simple as that.

STORY ABOUT MILITARY EXERCISES IN PACIFIC NORTHWEST SAID TO BE FEAR MONGERING.
We unknowingly grabbed a live wire earlier this week when we published a story with the following headline: "Military prepares to use entire states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Northern California for weapons testing on crops, air, and civilian population." It links to an article written by Rosalind Peterson, a retired employee of the US Department of Agriculture. The next day, I received the following blast from a subscriber in Portland, Oregon:

"That whole post about military expansion in the PNW is bunk. There is nothing in the EIS about whole state coverage nor on their maps. And according to the navy, EOD will go down from 60 to 4. The person writing that article has obviously not read it. I went through the summaries, PDFs of all the ToC, and there is nothing in there. I didn't download the full study and go through it ( parts I & II ). So unless it's buried in the long version somewhere, which still should have made it to the summaries, the whole article is a fear mongering lie or disinfo provocation for radicals. And considering this person was a former USDA person, which is a corrupt organization to begin with, why would you take anything out of her mouth without doing due diligence. If you got sources for facts, you need to post them on a follow up or reader comment. Otherwise, you might as well join the Alex Jones club and post some news once in awhile and bogus staged stuff the rest of the time. Hey anything to fit your agenda and make a profit, right. You lost my trust in that you're responsible about reality/truthful facts.

Well, although we still are hoping someday to see that mythological profit that bothers SPL, we do, indeed, care about the truth here at Unfiltered News; so I searched the Internet looking for confirmation of the basic facts in Peterson's article. From what I have seen so far, the basic facts are correct regarding the Navy's plan to expand its training area into both wilderness and populated areas previously excluded. It is also true that the public has been given only perfunctory advance notice and very little time to respond to the proposal. However, I was not able to locate specific sections within the report that mentioned the use of chemicals, sound-emitting devices, or other weaponry that would be particularly dangerous to civilian populations. That is not to say those sections are not there. It is just that I was not able to find them. As Peterson has pointed out, the fact that they are not identified by name in the publicly available reports is no assurance they are not planned. Knowing what I know about the military ethic, I would be surprised if such weapons were NOT on the list. We know they are in the arsenal and we know they have to be tested somewhere, so why not in the largest testing range of all? Still, SPL has a good point when he says there is no clear reference to any of this in the official reports.

Yuri Bezmenov, the son of a high-ranking Soviet officer, was a member of the elite propaganda arm of the KGB, known as the Novasti Press Agency. One of his assignments was to accompany journalists visiting the Soviet Union to make sure they did not discover the truth about Soviet life. After becoming disillusioned with the oppressive system, he escaped to the West at great risk to his life. In this interview, conducted by G. Edward Griffin, Mr. Bezmenov tells how the Soviets used propaganda against their own citizens; how he hoodwinked American journalists into publishing Soviet propaganda, how slave laborers are concealed from foreign visitors, and how he escaped to the West posing as an American hippie.
