STOP THE SO-CALLED ECONOMIC-STIMULUS BILL
All Americans who are concerned over the fiscal irresponsibility of Congress and the inflationary effects of its trillion dollar deficits, trillion dollar bailouts, and trillion dollar stimulus package, must contact their representative immediately in opposition to H.R. 1, the economic stimulus package.

Rep. Ron Paul issued a statement yesterday regarding this bill which makes it clear what type of bill it is and some of the reasons why we must oppose it. Here are some highlights:

• "In reality, this bill is just an escalation of a government-created economic mess. As before, a sense of urgency and impending doom is being used to extract mountains of money from Congress with minimal debate..... We are again being promised that its passage will help employment, help homeowners, help the environment, etc. These promises are worthless. This time around especially, Congress should know better than to pass anything of this magnitude without first reading the fine print."

• "At least $4 billion is allocated to expanding the police state and the war on drugs ... and the COPS program, both of which are corrupt and largely ineffective programs."

• "To help Big Brother keep a better eye on us and our children, $20 billion would go towards health information technology, which would create a national system of electronic medical records without adequate privacy protection." • "$79 billion bails out states that haphazardly expanded their budgets during the bubble years, but refuse to retrench and cut back, as their taxpayers have had to, during recession years."

• "$200 million expands Americorps. $100 million goes to “faith-and-community” based organizations for social services, which will further insinuate the government into charity and community service."
• "Of course the bill is rife with central planning projects."

• "This bill delivers an additional debt burden of $6,700 to every American man, woman and child."

• "There is a lot of stimulus and growth in this bill – that is, of government. Nothing in this bill stimulates the freedom and prosperity of the American people. Politician-directed spending is never as successful as market-driven investment. Instead of passing this bill, Congress should get out of the way by cutting taxes, cutting spending, and reining in the reckless monetary policy of the Federal Reserve."

The bottom line is that Americans need to help preserve their freedom and prosperity by opposing this nearly trillion dollar economic stimulus package! Note: The House passed this bill today but not one Republican voted for it and 18 Democrats opposed it. Lets pray that the Senate votes it down!! As Americans,Republican and Democrats we need to stand together and unite against this before this country has lost all its freedoms and liberties. The time is now. Thanks.

The most eye-opening civics lesson I ever had was while teaching third grade this year. The presidential election was heating up and some of the children showed an interest. I decided we would have an election for a class president. We would choose our nominees. They would make a campaign speech and the class would vote.

To simplify the process, candidates were nominated by other class members. We discussed what kinds of characteristics these students should have. We got many nominations and from those, Jamie and Olivia were picked to run for the top spot.

The class had done a great job in their selections. Both candidates were good kids. I thought Jamie might have an advantage because he got lots of parental support. I had never seen Olivia's mother.

The day arrived when they were to make their speeches Jamie went first. He had specific ideas about how to make our class a better place. He ended by promising to do his very best. Everyone applauded. He sat down and Olivia came to the podium. Her speech was concise. She said, "If you will vote for me, I will give you ice cream." She sat down.

The class went wild. "Yes! Yes! We want ice cream." She surely could say more. She did not have to.

A discussion followed. How did she plan to pay for the ice cream? She wasn't sure. Would her parents buy it or would the class pay for it? She didn't know. The class really didn't care. All they were thinking about was ice cream. Jamie was forgotten. Olivia won by a landslide.

Every time Barack Obama opened his mouth he offered ice cream, and fifty-two percent of the people reacted like nine year olds. They want ice cream. The other forty-eight percent of us know we're going to have to feed the cow and clean up the mess.

SANTA CLAUSE ECONOMICS IS UPON US

Political “leaders” throughout the world are turning in their hardly used “fight inflation suits” and are donning instead the well-worn, more cheerful, red and white, “feed-inflation” Santa suits. Only the stomach padding is not pillows; it’s paper currency by the basketful. Those great pillars of wisdom, the politicians, are caving in on the “hold the prices down” line and rationalizing that inflation is the lesser evil, while recession, unemployment, bankruptcies, and falling gross national product is the greater evil. What most people do not know is that politicians now have the power to inflate without limit! Up to now, there were limits - so it is not correct to compare now with 1929.

Long before this uncontrolled inflationary state arose, an odious brand of Santa Claus economics was spreading throughout the world. By this, I mean the politicians playing St. Nick to all, by way of subsidies, welfare checks, minimum wages, and so-called full employment rules. And such insanity as unemployment benefits that nearly equal employed wage - with money going to strikers too, so that taxpayers paid for union demands. Other insanities by the government’s fairytale financing are foreign aid, and spending in every direction, etc., ad nauseam.

Santa Claus economics brought about a climate of social expectation that in the end cripples the individual, and thus the nation, and now the world. It’s what I call the ‘Prairie Dog Phenomenon.’ In North Dakota there is a national park where signs say: “Please do not feed the prairie dogs because you are only here in the summer, and when you go away they will have become so dependent on handouts they will be unable to fend for themselves, and therefore will starve to death in the winter.”

It happens to humans, too. Certainly, politicians as well as the majority of other assorted humans do not understand nature’s laws. As a result, most people welcome something for nothing and the “not too bright politicians” are willing to offer a supply through campaign promises. These elected “leaders” then proceed to take away from those who produce and give to those who do not produce (the latter includes the politicians themselves). Thus, the majority of us come to depend on the handouts; however, in winter economic weather, we shall starve or be killed.

So carry on, oh Santa Claus in every capital, and destroy our way of life, and life itself for many. Treat us like Dakota prairie dogs. But yonder the leaves are turning brown – and a long winter lies ahead.

UNBELIEVABLE!
I just finished reading “The Creature from Jekyll Island”. Just before reading that book, I read “the Web of Debt” by Ellen Brown. Reading these two books has changed my life. I went mentally from a secure world of false perceptions into a world on the brink of collapse caused by the greatest scam in the history of the world, the Federal Reserve. Suddenly, America the land of the free looked like America the land of deception and fraud.

How could the American people be literally on the verge of losing everything and not even know it? How could a Country go from the land of the free to the land of slavery and poverty and not even see it coming? It is unbelievable. What is even more unbelievable is when you tell your family and friends about this incredible scam that will soon reduce them to possible starvation and homelessness, they all think you are crazy!

America, wake up, you are soon going to see what hell on earth is like unless you do something fast. Frankly, no matter what we can do now, it is too late to stop the economic meltdown and our life style destruction. However, I do think that we can prepare ourselves and stop America from being destroyed altogether and becoming just another third world country controlled by the IMF.

Thanks for being a beacon of light in what is rapidly becoming a very dark and corrupt world.

MORE COMMENTS ON PROTOCOLS OF ZION
I want to share my perspective as a person of Russian/Polish Jewish descent. Members of my own family were exterminated and/or disappeared during WWII. My grandfather was grouped together with a bunch of Germans/Russians around the time of WWII and shot at firing squad style. He ran into the woods and was one of the few who got away. Others in my family had 12 brother and sisters and were the only ones to survive when Cossacks invaded Russian villages and killed Jews. My friend's mom's entire family died in the holocaust. So, to Holocaust deniers, I don't think there's much to deny there. However, I will say, that if 6 million Jews died in WWII, about 80 or 90 million worldwide died during that time, and there is a media bias towards the Jews dying, likely perpetrated by the world elite.

My parents emigrated to the U.S. from Russia in 1977 when I was 3 years old. I went to hebrew school early on and was told constantly about the persecution of the Jews. My mother was terrified of people and of being Jewish because of the anti-semitism in Russia. I grew up never understanding why Jews were persecuted and hated so much. I always hated feeling like a victim as part of a "whiny", "hated", and "persecuted" race. If someone hates someone, what do they hate them for? There must be a reason, right? I started thinking that people don't hate people because they're weak or minding their own business, and I saw a good number of wealthy powerful Jews in the U.S. as time went on.

Well, I don't have a clear answer to all of this, but what I can figure out is that there is no chance that millions of Jews are bad, evil, people conspiring to take over the world. Everyone in the world does what they can do to get by or get ahead some with more or less ethics involved, regardless of race and religion, all playing the game of survival that is rigged from the top-down by the world elite. The fact of the matter is that there is likely an elite group of people at the tope of the human pyramid that is orchestrating events and shaping the new world order. I'm confident Israel is part of this plan, but to blame every Jew for this is not wise. Many Jews tried to escape persecution during WWII and were refused entrance to most other countries except Israel.

Just because some Christians, Jews, or Muslims commit crimes or are bad people, you cannot condemn and blame all the people that are associated with this race. In fact, I am convinced that the world elite pin people against each other in any way possible, to take attention off themselves -- whether it be by pinning religions against religions, countries against countries, sports fans against sports fans, etc. Divide and conquer is the strategy. If you're too busy blaming large mainly innocent parties for perceived wrong doings, you're letting the world elite fool you into fighting a false fight and blaming the wrong people. The majority of people of all religions just want to live a happy life.

Personally, I am of Jewish descent, but I have little interest in organized bible religions. I think they are all false and I would never say that I have the one path to God and that all other paths are wrong, etc. Also, I recently learned that the word "holocaust" translates too "burnt offering" in greek. Why on earth would they call it that? Were some Jews sacrificed in the Holocaust so that the world would feel sorry for them and they could be transported in mass to Israel where they could build up the Israeli military and play their part to further New World Order plans?

The fact of the matter is the world elite, even if some are of Jewish descent, which they like are, they do not follow the organized religions. The organized religions are for the sheep to follow. Some leaders may claim to be religious. But they are wolves in sheeps clothing. They don't play by the rules or religious rules. They are above the religions that are created to control and fool the masses. They are above the law. They are the law.

This is my view and I hope it helps to enlighten people of the world.

So would we. We know it is not the result of free-market forces. We know that the Rothschild bank in London fixes the price daily, but it does not have complete power to fix it at any level it wishes because other banks would clean them out if they put it too low. We know that the bullion banks are manipulating the price by selling short. We know that the media plays a role by favoring anti-gold news over pro-gold news. We know that the governments plays a role by not publishing accurate statistics about gold reserves. We know that bullion dealers are involved by quoting prices for gold sales when they know full well they cannot deliver the gold at those prices. So, that is an excellent question. Who does determine the price of gold? If you find the answer, please let us know.

Briefly stated, my analysis is that this film is a mixture of truth and misdirection. Globalization, per se, is neither good nor bad. The real issue, skipped over by this video, is what KIND of globalization. My concern with globalization is that the way it is unfolding today is leading into a global totalitarian system. Theoretically, nationalism could also lead in the same direction – and, in fact, is doing so in many places. The issue is not globalization vs. nationalism but what KIND of a world are we heading into. Will it be one of freedom or one of feudalism?
My analysis of the ant-globalization movement is that it is largely misdirected. Instead of protesting the growth of government, the protestors usually demand more government. They want MORE subsidies, more regulations, more redistribution of wealth, more collectivism. We are being given a false choice between the anti-globalist useful idiots and the globalist totalitarians. I think they are basically on the same side. I do not wish to participate in that losing game.
