Briefly stated, my analysis is that this film is a mixture of truth and misdirection. Globalization, per se, is neither good nor bad. The real issue, skipped over by this video, is what KIND of globalization. My concern with globalization is that the way it is unfolding today is leading into a global totalitarian system. Theoretically, nationalism could also lead in the same direction – and, in fact, is doing so in many places. The issue is not globalization vs. nationalism but what KIND of a world are we heading into. Will it be one of freedom or one of feudalism?
My analysis of the ant-globalization movement is that it is largely misdirected. Instead of protesting the growth of government, the protestors usually demand more government. They want MORE subsidies, more regulations, more redistribution of wealth, more collectivism. We are being given a false choice between the anti-globalist useful idiots and the globalist totalitarians. I think they are basically on the same side. I do not wish to participate in that losing game.

We live in a consumer society and consumers “use things up.” In recent history, this useless, toxic “stuff” comes from China, and this sad state of affairs is so simple to understand that even a child can follow. Just watch the, “Story of Stuff,” a web-based documentary about the dark underside of consumption.

Our consumer society didn't just happen, it was planned. Not in the 20th or 21st centuries, but in the 19th century by the Skull and Bones secret society. READER SAYS VALUE OF HUMAN LIFE IS BASIS OF MORALITY, EVEN IF THERE IS NO GOD
Mr. Griffin,
I just received the latest Unfiltered News, and read the correspondence between a reader and you regarding the source of morality and 'right and wrong'. I too have struggled with this and I have come to the firm conclusion that all sources of good and evil come from the value placed on human life. It has always seemed to me that the "if there is no God then there cannot be good and evil" argument is full of holes. For one example, if a religious text dictated that the first born should be murdered in the cradle, would it be right? Of course not. But the reason I can say that it would not be right is because of the value I place on human life. If we break down all of the moral values held by libertarians, whether it be freedom of speech, freedom to own property, and freedom of choice among products, the core similarity is the value placed on the human life, and the dignity granted to each living being because they are human. If we value life over death, freedom over slavery, sound money and low taxes over a welfare state, we are doing so, not because God exists or not, but because we hold human life as the standard of all values. Murder of an innocent person is murder, regardless of whether God exists. Why is it wrong? Because the innocent person's life was taken from him/her, because of the value implicitly placed on life. Governments are no exception, murder on a mass scale is still murder, even if everyone calls it 'war'. I firmly reject the notion that 'might makes right', and that the perpetrators should still be held accountable by fellow human beings, who are capable of understanding the morality behind the value of human life.

4 ISRAELI DEATHS, NOT 13, DUE TO HAMAS ROCKETS. AND COULD THOSE ROCKETS BE FALSE-FLAG?
Your link [in the Jan 16 issue] to the BBC News article on Gaza deaths and injuries wrongly states that 13 Israelis have been killed by Hamas rockets. Actually, 9 of those deaths were from combat in Gaza. Only 4 Israeli deaths are allegedly from Hamas rockets.

I say allegedly only because I'm not convinced that Hamas is firing the rockets. Same for the recent rockets fired from Lebanon, where the media claims it's Hezbollah. In fact, the Lebanese cabinet member representing Hezbollah has denied that they were responsible for those rockets.

The rockets fired from Gaza and Lebanon could be Mossad's way of developing and maintaining the phony pretext Israel needed.

MULTINATIONAL INTERVENTION IS NOT THE SOLUTION TO THE ISRAEL - PALESTINE CONFLICT

For many, the Israel-Arab conflict is so emotionally charged that some pro-sovereignty laymen are silently suggesting a form of global response due to the sad images on television. I have no doubt that the "live and let live" policy many of us try to adhere to is difficult to stomach when one sovereign body chooses to not let another live, yet going so far as to suggest an international police action is not going to gain my support - and I believe we can help reframe the issue away from a globalist solution. Eliminating all foreign support (aka- taxpayer rape) is much better to focus upon than, as some in the liberty community are calling for, a globalist / multinational / empirical response to such an emotive issue.

I suggest, when you hear your liberty minded buddies fired up about the Gaza fighting (be it for one side or the other), be sure to help them adjust the perspective towards non-governmental intervention, cleaning our own house, and eliminating foreign aid Remind them that this likely contrived issue has great potential to further supranational initiatives. If they're impassioned about this incident, encourage them to become personally involved through a private foundation or volunteer effort.

It is my opinion that pro globalists will use the Israeli / Paletinian conflict to emotionally charge everyone from the deeply religious to the staunch atheists. We should be mindful of efforts to recruit our minds into supranational initiatives through our soft hearts.

I was just wondering what your thoughts were concerning a short You Tube video I just watched reporting from CNN news, that a Russian professor is predicting the U.S. will disintegrate by the year 2010! He contends that America will split up into regions where certain states will group together independently, thus doing away with the U.S. as we know it. Your comments would be appreciated.

BY WHAT AUTHORITY CAN WE CLAIM WE ARE RIGHT AND THOSE PROMOTING THE NEW WORLD ORDER ARE WRONG?
This question came to us from a subscriber who is struggling with the question: If religion must not be the authority for government, then what should be? He writes:

“The Declaration of Independence states that in respect to the opinions of mankind, we must give a reason that impels us to separation. I understand our movement is focused on freedom, but where is the justification for it? I agree whole-heartedly that the Constitution makes no mention of God, and in my opinion, rightly so. We do not want to offer freedom and then force someone into a paradigm of beliefs.

“However, if our freedom movement is to fight for freedom, on what justification are we doing it, or in other words, why would the NWO be wrong in clearing the earth of 90% of the population? For the sake of argument, let's suppose there is no God, the atheist was right all along, and evolution is true. On what authority can we justify that our desire for freedom is right and the NWO desire for our enslavement is wrong?

“The 10 Commandments for the NWO posted on the Georgia Guidestones hold evolutionary and atheistic values that clearly show that the world's population needs a 90-95% decrease. What makes that wrong? I know it's wrong, because I can say there is a Creator who grants rights, and the NWO has no authority over the Creator to take them away.

“I'm asking the movement to please explain to me how we justify that the NWO would not be saving the planet and resources by getting rid of all the 'inferior species'? Without using God as our answer, on what authority do we justify that our desire for freedom is right and the NWO desire for our enslavement is wrong? If this movement cannot justify that its basis for freedom is right over the NWO, why are we doing it? We need to state a reason that impels us to separation.

Hello Christopher.
Regrettably, I must be very brief, but the essence of my thought on this is very simple. It really makes no difference what authority we choose. We can write proclamations all day long and claim God’s word or logic or philosophy as our authority, but they mean nothing unless we are able to back our proclamations with physical force. Those with the winning armies choose whatever authority they wish.

It wasn’t philosophy or the recognition of a Creator expressed in the Declaration of Independence that carried the day. It was the Continental Army. Those who win on the battlefield always determine the laws and can use any authority or justification they wish. Therefore, those of us who believe in freedom cite the philosophy expressed in The Creed of Freedom, and that’s quite sufficient, provided we can rely on the power of government to enforce it. But remember, that power is greatly restricted by the Creed itself. It is limited to the defense of life, liberty, and property. Without that limited power, however, we have no enforceable rights. That’s why the motto of Freedom Force is: “Those without power cannot defend freedom.”
