COFFEE DURING PREGNANCY
I just
read the article about caffeine in pregnant mice that you linked to in your
latest issue of Unfiltered News. I have to say as an expectant mother
who does at times indulge in coffee, the title scared me. When I read the
article, though, I was somewhat relieved. The mice in the experimental group
were not ingesting caffeine; it was being injected into them. There is a
difference in how the body metabolizes an injected substance vs. how the
body metabolizes an ingested substance that needs to be further researched
before we can conclude that coffee may be bad for unborn children. I would
like to see the same study repeated where the mice are eating the caffeine
(it could be added to their chow) rather than getting caffeine injections.
Until then, I'm not sure it's worth getting too excited. Having said that, I
do believe there are other studies which show caffeine might be a risk
factor in pregnancy. The pregnancy books generally recommend mothers-to-be
limit their caffeine intake but outside of the Weston Price Foundation
(which I actually consider to be the nutrition gold standard), I haven't
seen anyone advocate for total abstinence. The Weston Price Foundation
founder believes any amount of caffeine or alcohol is bad for everybody. I'm
a believer in exercising moderation for those things, and even more
moderation during pregnancy. Anyway, I just wanted to mention that the
study's conclusions may be premature. I'm open to the possibility of that
being true, but I believe they should have the mice taking caffeine the same
way humans do in their next study. I suspect the impact of ingested caffeine
isn't as pronounced as the impact of injected caffeine is, and it may even
be undetectable. Pregnant women should definitely avoid taking caffeine
injections!

Hello Edward, Below are brief comments re your recent news letter regarding
the posting by Tim Wood.
The money circulating in most countries on this planet is owned and totally
controlled by the elite - the bankers and their cronies and minions. We
simply rent it from them - the rent is called interest. That ownership has
been sealed with the blood of Presidents. Make no mistake about it. The
Federal Reserve has to tell us nothing, and there is no one who will force
it to tell anything. Only the unbearable pain of total collapse will wake
people up.
The Myth of German Culpability is an excellent look at the flip side
of the coin. Don't forget as well, that Germany could not have gotten far in
it's war efforts without an incredible amount of support from American
industry and banking - Rockefeller, Henry Ford, and Prescott Bush for
example.
General Motors must get special mention. GM’s wholly-owned company, Adam-Opel,
during WWII, was one of Germany’s main manufacturers of tanks, trucks and
bomber engines. In 1938, just months after the NAZI annexation of Austria -
James Mooney (President of GM Overseas Corp) was decorated by Adolph Hitler
with the highest Medal Germany could give a Foreigner - the Order of the
Eagle with Cross, and in 1942, W S Knudsen (president of GM 1937 - 1940) was
recognized in a special way by the U.S. Army. No he wasn’t arrested for
conflict of interest or conspiring to arm the enemy, he became the first
civilian to be made a U.S. Army General.

GERMANY IN WW II - THE GLEIWITZ INCIDENT
This is in response to a letter which appeared in your edition of
12/19/08.
With regard to the claim that Germany was the innocent victim in WW II, the
article by Michael Walsh repeats the old Nazi claim that Poland attacked the
German radio station at Gleiwitz. A Google search turns up much evidence
that this was a false flag operation, in which German convicts were dressed
up in Polish uniforms and machine-gunned so that they could be photographed
for propaganda purposes. Gleiwitz was the excuse for the German invasion of
Poland in 1939, just as the totally imaginary Tonkin Gulf Incident was the
excuse for the Vietnam War, and just as the false flag attacks of 9/11/01
were the excuse for the Neocons to mislead the U.S.A. into attacking
Afghanistan and then Iraq.
For anyone not yet convinced that false flag attacks are routine in
international maneuvering, I would suggest Googling "U.S.S. Liberty" and
"Operation Northwoods."
Pearl Harbor falls on the cusp of this category - the Japanese really did
attack, but the FDR administration forced their hand as an excuse to get
into WW II.

WAS HITLER RIGHT?
Edward, I have met you, purchased and read some of your books and
listened to some of your tapes. Today I read an article (in Unfiltered
News) by Tim Wood 2008, Dec. 1 castigating and vilifying Hitler. I hate
war as it is almost always perpetuated for the love of money and control.
This latest article by Michael Walsh and Gunther Kumel in my view and
research really puts the blame where it should be, on the Money Masters whom
you know and have written much about. Tim's article in the realm of your
Reality Zone in my opinion does not add credence to your many
publications.

Donald, I agree that the financial elite and collectivist political leaders
in Europe and America at the time were deeply to blame for bringing on World
War II, but that does not make Hitler and his collectivist regime innocent
victims. The Nazis had eagerly planned for war as a means of pursuing their
own agenda as well. Nevertheless, in the spirit of not censoring the news or
stifling opinions that differ from ours, we are posting the link you sent
that leads to the article by Michael Walsh. Reader comment is invited.

WHO SHOULD OBAMA APPOINT TO HIS CABINET?
Hello G. Edward Griffin,
I have been trying to spread the message of freedom since 9/11 but often
when I tell people that the CFR and the Federal Reserve have infiltrated our
government and are pursuing a globalist agenda I am met with a response that
members of the CFR and Federal Reserve get cabinet positions and are
appointed to positions of power because they are the most qualified to hold
those positions. I am sometimes challenged with the question "who is more
qualified than candidate X"?, and honestly I don't know who is more
qualified. So I ask you, who are the candidates for freedom which are
qualified to serve in the president-elect's cabinet that don't subscribe to
a globalist agenda? Are there enough to fill a cabinet? Of course Ron Paul
and Dennis Kucinic would be great choices but I am looking for other
not-so-obvious picks.

Hello Don.
The question is loaded. It implies that selecting the most qualified
candidates will make a difference. In the real world of politics, by the
time candidates are available for choosing, the game is already over. The
real action goes on every day all year long within the political parties,
the media, the educational system, and all other power centers of society.
There are few freedom-qualified candidates for office or appointment,
because the channels of selection are in the hands of collectivists. Even
Kucinich is a collectivist, although not a globalist.
Unless the stranglehold of collectivism is broken, nothing will change.
That’s why Freedom Force is focused on gaining influence in the power
centers and is not trying to generate support for the least ill-qualified of
the existing appointees. It’s the same dead-end game as voting for the
lesser of two evils. We lose no matter who is selected.
Ron Paul would never be appointed and could not serve if he were. Cabinet
members, regardless of their personal convictions, will follow the CFR
agenda or be expelled.

NATURALIZED AMERICAN CITIZEN DECLARED ILLEGAL ALIEN (from Alberta

I signed on for a travel assignment (nursing) with an agency in
Nebraska. I was to start this assignment in January. All the forms have been
signed and I thought it was a done deal. Suddenly on November 26 I was told
that they use a pilot program called E-Verify to ensure that all hirees are
authorized to work in the U.S. - well I was informed that I was
non-confirmed. Which means that I am not authorized to work in the U.S.
according to Homeland Security. I called the social security administration
and talked to a Mr Mannis who assured me that he could see no reason why I
would have been flagge. I felt encouraged and related this to my employer.
They sent me a form that I had to sign - which said that I either chose to
contest the Homeland Security designation or not to contest it. If I chose
not to contest it, they would put me in a category called final
nonconfirmation which would immediately take away my right to work. Of
course I signed that I contested the designation and immediately sent it
back to the employer.
Now a little background, I was born in Toronto, Canada in 1954. I was
brought to the U.S. in 1956 when my mother married an American citizen. She
went thru the immigration process and I went thru the naturalization process
and became a naturalized citizen in 1966 (if my memory serves me on the
date) anyway I was adopted by my father in 1958 as well. I never really
thought about it much since then. I applied and received a social security
card, received it without any questions, and essentially have gone thru life
til now, thinking all was well. I thought I was an American, patriotic and
supportive of this country, it is all that I have ever known. (More)

I am a student of history. Professionally. I have written 15 books in six
languages, and have studied history all my life. I think there is something
monumentally large afoot, and I do not believe it is just a banking crisis,
or a mortgage crisis, or a credit crisis. Yes these exist, but they are
merely single facets on a very large gemstone that is only now coming into a
sharper focus.
Something of historic proportions is happening. I can sense it because I
know how it feels, smells, what it looks like, and how people react to it.
Yes, a perfect storm may be brewing, but there is something happening within
our country that has been evolving for about ten - fifteen years. The pace
has dramatically quickened in the past two years. We demand and then codify
into law the requirement that our banks make massive loans to people we know
