TIME FOR VANS AND LOUD SPEAKERS IN THE STREETS?
Hello Mr. Griffin.
Thank you for your kind words and encouragement. I am proud to be a Freedom
Force member, and have enjoyed reading, signing, and sharing "The Creed of
Freedom" with friends and family.
Encouraging is Freedom Force and the efforts I see, but very real and scary
is our Nation's situation for both our families and friends. If what I think
is really happening, I feel the alert mode needs to be moved up. However,
maybe I need to be reigned in a bit. Have I lost my mind in the maze of
conspiracy literature and facts that seem to clearly point to events that
will trigger the calling of marshal-law very soon?
Based on my research, the plan to usurp America is real. In my book 'A
Crisis in America' I pose the question: "What if we had a terrorist attack
but many times worse than 911 today?" Wouldn't America, especially with our
fragile economy be in big trouble; and we can be sure a nuclear blast of any
kind will have FEMA at our front doors.
If something like this did happen right out of the blue, like 911, most of
us are not prepared, it would be devastating to say the least; triggering
the start of The New World Order. Prepare your families my good citizens, I
worry sincerely for you and your wives and children, Think of how to protect
them. Tomorrow morning we could all wake up to this scenario.
Are we not all one gas tank away from being stranded? Think for a minute if
all the gas pumps were turned off right now. How much gas do you have and
where will you get your next tank? How will you get around, and where will
you go? I say this because it happened to me the other day. I pulled in to a
station and the computer was shut down. It was certainly a rude awakening of
how dependent we are on our government and state.
I see us putting out this critical information about the plan to doom our
beloved nation to a fascist state or worse, but I do not sense the same
urgency in many of the voices and action of people around the planet or even
in Freedom Force to meet the damnation they have planned for us. Can someone
kindly please clear things up for me? Shouldn't we be driving vans up and
down streets with huge blow horns screaming the 'reds are coming' or
something, while handing out materials to educate people?

Hello Stephen.
I agree with your assessment of the pending crisis and I certainly
sympathize with your anxiety over the fact that few of our friends are
willing to face up to the reality of it. Yet, I am not convinced that
driving vans around town with loudspeakers proclaiming the truth would make
much difference. In fact, it could make matters worse, because most people
would think we were a bunch of loonies. The problem is that the general
population cannot accept the truth even when spoken iover loudspeakers,
because it runs counter to their daily programming through the mass media.
Does that mean we must just sit idly by and wait for Armageddon? Not at all.
There is much that can be done in spite of the media blockade. In my view,
the most effective way to awaken our fellow citizens is through a
non-emotional, well-documented educational program presented in a tasteful
and professional manner. Bull horns and photocopied handbills with every
other word highlighted and underlined is NOT the way to win converts.
Thoughtful people (and many not so thoughtful) are repelled by that, and the
fact that truth might be delivered therein makes no difference. Our job is
not so much to deliver truth as it is to convince people that what we
deliver IS truth. The method is just as important as the message.
That is why we at the Reality Zone work hard to make sure our books, CDs and
DVDs are in good taste and professionally presented. That is why we don't
send out warnings in response to every rumor of immediate crisis. That is
why we question every story that seemingly supports our position but lacks a
reliable source. That is why we refuse to exaggerate our facts and make sure
that everything we say can be documented from the public record. If we wish
people to accept us as reliable, then we must BE reliable.

COUPLE TO RUN FOR OFFICE IN NEW JERSEY
We live in Northern New Jersey, a stronghold of public corruption. I was feeling so low one evening, feeling the effects of the
wrong-doing inflicted upon my community and city. I was listening to Christian radio and Mr. Griffin was being interviewed. He said: Why fight City Hall when
you can BE City Hall. It was like wind in my sail. My husband and I are preparing to run for public office. All of the details have not been worked out;
however, we are encouraged and don't feel as hopeless, believing we can help to make a difference. The website has been very helpful in building our awareness,

HOW TO VIEW THE PROPAGANDA FILM,
"WAKE UP AMERICA, THE THREAT IS REAL"
A good friend recently sent
us a link to a video entitled Wake Up America; The Threat Is Real, which presents powerful images of an atomic attack against the United States by Islamic terrorists.
The theme is familiar to anyone who has listened to those who pound the
drums for war in the Middle East: Muslims hate America because it is free.
Muslims are determined to conquer the world and convert mankind to Islam by
the sword. Muslims are swarming into every corner of the globe. Muslims will
not stop until they destroy America with atomic bombs and other weapons of
mass destruction. Therefore, wake up, America, and strike them first. Wake
up, America, and support aggressive wars against any and all countries
within Islam. Wake up, America, and bomb the hell out of thEM
while we still have a chance. Wake up, America, and pass laws to eliminate
our personal freedoms at home so we can root out those dangerous terrorists

This was my brief reply: Quite effective propaganda for supporting
aggressive war and surrender of liberties at home, isn’t it? Too bad it
omits the part about extremist Islamic leaders being coddled, funded, and
aided by CIA and other covert agencies for the purpose of creating the very
scenario this film presents. As long as Americans take this stuff at face
value and fail to realize the covert agenda behind it, we have no chance to
survive. We will be swallowed up, not by Islam Extremism, but Neo-Con
Collectivism.
We lose our way of life either way.

ARE CORPORATIONS INTRINSICALLY EVIL?
There is a central issue which, in my opinion, is perhaps the
single most important issue which divides those on the 'left' from those on
the 'right' and needs desperately to be analyzed and addressed. This is the
matter of state-granted corporate privileges.
Many on the left, who might otherwise join with us in opposition to unlawful
tyranny by the state, advocate 'democracy' or 'socialism' (i.e.,
collectivism) because they see this as necessary to restrain or abolish
'capitalistic' abuses of power, deriving from the privileges that
corporations enjoy but individuals do not: namely, limited liability.
What is your position on corporate 'limited liability' priveleges, which is
the essential feature of the corporation? I am surprised that you seem not to
have written about this yet. Isn't the limited liability corporation, by
nature, antithetical to the ideals of individualism, which you tirelessly
promote? Isn't corporatism the essential flaw of US government which has
resulted in a collectivist government and political favoritism giving
corporations unfair advantages over individuals and small businesses -
'competitors'?
REPLY FROM GEG: Our friends on the Left do, indeed, equate corporatism with
capitalism and injustice, and they tend to think that the way to offset the
injustices of corporatism is to have a strong government, theoretically
responsive to the will of the people. What they fail to see is that big
government is very similar to corporatism and, especially in recent times,
it is obvious that there is a merger of the two. Why? because they are the
same snakes under the skin. Every one of the obnoxious effects of
corporatism can be found in big government, and it is most naive to think
that it can ever be otherwise.
Governments and corporations are neither good nor evil by themselves. They
can serve man well or be a huge disservice depending entirely on the terms
of their charters and the character of those who direct them. Private
entrepreneurs, partnerships, and associations have exactly the same capacity
for good or evil. Corporations become evil when they acquire political
favoritism giving them unfair advantages over competitors and legal immunity
from crimes - but exactly the same thing happens with politically connected
individuals, partnerships, and associations.
There is, however, one characteristic of corporations and governments that
has led to widespread corruption and injustice. It is the fact that their
officers and managers usually are protected from personal liability for
their official acts. When crimes are committed by corporations and
government agencies, the courts hand down judgments to compensate the
victims or to punish the perpetrators, and many people cheer the outcome;
but they fail to realize that the real perpetrators get off Scot free. The
real perpetrators are people, not organizations. They are the leaders and
managers who make the decisions and execute the criminal actions. Yet, the
fines are not paid by them at all. When crimes are committed by people in
government, the fines are passed on to taxpayers. When crimes are committed
by people in corporations, the fines are passed on to stockholders. In both
cases, the innocent are punished and the guilty are spared.
This is the root of great evil. If corporate and government officers were
held personally responsible for their actions, even when discharging their
official duties, most abuses would come to a halt. The problem is not that
corporations and governments are intrinsically evil. It is that present laws
enable people within those structures to escape liability for their actions.
It can be argued that taxpayers and stockholders should be liable for the
actions of those whom they elect, that they should monitor them and make
sure they perform their duties properly. Such an argument, however, is not
realistic. Those who lead organizations usually can conceal or misrepresent
their actions for long periods of time. Average voters and stockholders have
little chance of discovering their wrongdoing until it is too late.
Fortunately, in a sane world it would not be necessary for them to do so. If
wrongdoing among executives were not protected by limited-liability laws,
few problems would arise from that sector. In other words, if office-holders
were held personally responsible for their acts on behalf of the
organizations they serve, the level of corruption and crime committed by
corporations and governments would be identical to the level committed by
individuals acting outside corporations and governments; which is to say
that it would me minimal.
In summary: Governments and corporations intrinsically are neither good nor
evil. What makes them so is the character of the people who direct them. If
laws did not grant personal immunity from their acts, the likelihood of
corruption and crime in governments and corporations would be no greater
than found in any other segment of society. We must focus on the underlying
principle: To treat executives of government and corporations differently
from all others is contrary to the “Equality-Under-Law” provision of The
Creed of Freedom. Follow the Creed, and it will make no difference what
organizational structures we choose for our convenience.
READER'S RESPONSE:
Mr. Griffin, Thank you very much for touching on the subject of corporations
in that shared correspondence. As a nation, we have veered off the path set
by the Founding Fathers, and pander to those in power. As Lord Acton said
about corruption, one can see that rising to a powerful position, whether in
politics or industry, creates the opportunity for ultimate corruption.
Corporations are not, as you pointed out, intrinsically evil; we just need
to hold people responsible for their actions, or lack thereof.
